As far as the dunging goes It is greatly imporved but being in a team is still alot better. From my experience, rushing floors has changed alot, now doing it in a group of 2 doing c6's is alot better then doing c1's. c6's are 10k+ a floor w/ 2 people and I complete them in roughly 4-5min (and im not all that fast at dung.) In dungeoneering I think that the combat triangle should be used instead of just melee'ing anything you can and use specific weakness's as much as you can. In range duel wielding crossbows is definately better then the 2h counterparts (2h rune crossbows) in my opinion, however at kbd the 2h ultimate was hitting 10k's with a crystal/zaryte bow. In magic I believe staves are better however I am not certain. It is definately easier to get your hands on a chaotic staff then a virtus wand + book though.

interesting, thanks. also I could save about $200 if I didnt have an ssd caching card in the laptop, I wouldnt add an aftermarket one as I refuse to mess anything up on the computer. Is the caching going help all that much?

In your case I would say customize one online, I am in a similar situation and the computer I decided on is the lenovo ideapad y580 http://shop.lenovo.c...C7A&action=init It has everything you would need I assume, I am getting the $1079 model because I wanted the ssd caching, however you could add that after I believe (dont quote me on it) once you free up some more money (should be around $70-$100.) Also look around see what you can find, and let me know if you find a good deal ;)

well you are super super limited at that price range, id advice trying to get an intel i5 prossesor (if you can at that price) and going for a nvidia gt (as high as possible) series graphics card, probably a 500gb harddrive with 5400rpm. If i were you I would try to bump that up to at least $650 for something youll be happy with. I am currently working towards a lenovo that i really like for $1099 because I know if i dont get something that has everything I want I will just be dissapointed in it. Look on the lonovo website and see whats in your price range, they have pretty good deals and good build quality.

So what is more important in these computers, the turbo boost from the alienware, or the upgraded graphix card from the lenovo, i guess what im asking is what is going to help me most, i mostly play rs along with some other games

Hijacking slightly here sorry, so when Im looking for offhand chaoatic to go with my rapier would it be better to get a rapier to keep the stab theme going or to cover a wider area to use a cls and get slash + stab

I would advise waiting till after eoc comes out and see how useful each potion will be then deciding the proper course of action form there.

i know having a chaching ssd will imporve my overall speed and convinience, i still have a few weeks until i will have the money to buy the computer anyway so i have time to do some reserch.

is there a big difference between the 16gb ss and the 32 gb ssd between the lonovo and the alienware. And with paying for the alienware name, its not the biggest deal to me, because along with the name comes alot of customizeable options. p.s. Im not arguing that the lenovo seems like the best deal at the moment.

If you primarily key I would assume that blood neck and primal plate would be the best. however i havent dung'd in months so my info may be outdated

Alright so bassically I am going to school next year, so i am looking for a laptop that can withstand just about anything (speedwise) that i need. I am looking for computers that are under $1300 and are fast, and good for casual gaming. Here are the ones I am currently looking at, which one would you choose, or if there is a different one in the price range or close too what would you get? ALIENWARE M14X: $1246.00 Toshiba Satellite P870-ST3GX; $1299 Lenovo IdeaPad 580; $1099 I am open to other suggestions aswell if anyone has any! If there is anything else that you need to know I can get it aswell. Thanks in advance :)

wouldnt karils be pretty pointless now? royal dhide is better in everything except slightly magic defence, or gano if you feel you need that much defence

While they wont be as useful as they currently are, they will probably still be worth it. however, just get 92-93 herblore and stew from there.

train what you dislike the most, costs too much, or takes the longest to get up. Id say herblore agility or mining

so recently ive been hearing about familiars not being as usful in beta as they are in the regular game, mainly healers like unicorn titans and bunyips. if this is the case im interested to know why and also what other familiars arent great in the beta so bassically what if any familiars have been reduced in usefulness because other the eoc? also what shoudl i use my instakill darts on? i realize nex is the best but cba to get the key for nex, so what would be the next best? kiln? corp? sara? arma? thanks

Overloads are kind of pointless now as the new combat system makes then not worth getting because rocktails heal more then brews in eoc (unless it changed)
