  1. Sounds pretty much like what I thought of rs on my first day. And years later here we are :D seriously who cares, not everyone in the world is gonna see rs as the greatest thing ever, no point raging over a crappy review
  2. Depends on how you define a skill in rs as 'hard' I guess. At the end of the day they all come down to grinding for a long time. If by hard you mean longest to get 200m in just that skill, that would be slayer. If you mean slowest overall xp when training, hardest would be agility or rc. If you mean most skill involved, dungeoneering. If you mean most boring, that's just personal opinion. I don't see how summoning is 'hardest' to train by any definitions lol.
  3. They won't go up because of bonus xp weekend, the only thing they're used for is getting to earth altar and noone will be rcing there for bonus xp. Maybe try and dump them for a bit above med and hope you get lucky lol.
  4. I'm gonna be doing this to make some overloads. people have been using this trick to make overloads ever since they were released, if jagex thought it was a bug they would have patched it by now. I think the xp timer will work differently though, so it'll still go down even if you log in for 30 seconds or w/e
  5. 'If a player does not own the fire cape, which is required to be assigned tasks with killing ice strykewyrms, he/she is welcome to spend 2,000 Slayer reward points instead to unlock the task. However, while using the fire cape, players get 2x the damage with fire spells and +40 damage added to all attacks (even non-magic), versus 1.5x damage with fire spells and no damage added without the cape, so players are advised to attempt to gain the fire cape instead of purchasing this ability.' From runescape wiki. Fire cape is worth getting not just for ice strykes for the stats on slayer tasks in general.
  6. Cleaning most herbs makes a profit yeah, its slow xp and click heavy though
  7. I've done them before but I didn't count number made p/h. I'm sure they were faster than larders though cos you're using 10 planks each instead of 8
  8. How many can you make per hour? Trying to calc how many planks I need on bxp weekend
  9. planks have 10k per 4 hour buy limit, sad. Thought I could snipe 100k before everyone catches on :(
  10. Cool time to buy 99 cons, hopefully planks don't rise too much. Glad I've got 50 torstol seeds banked :D
  11. A good method I use is to range him with dia (e), then when you see the healers start coming, venge, put on claws, click quick pray which should be turmoil and soul split, and spec him out. Have rapier or maul for if the 2 specs + venge don't kill him but usually that will ko him before the healers touch him. I don't know how well this would work w/o ovls/turmoil though.
  12. Sounds about right, you could do the c1s faster with a team though, I just did 1-30 today and it took under an hour. And the time of larges depends on your team, with randoms on 117/148 you prob won't average 40 min floors but with a perm team you would easily. Remember the xp rate gets a bit faster every 2 levels so it will take less time than it seems like atm

    XP Rates

Fishing: I haven't tested myself but I've heard 100k+ per hour is possible with urns and sweets Hunter: I'm low hunter, and I've got 350k per hour there easily with arctic bear and zammy favour pots which don't take long to get, you'll have to hunt them once if you want the mask anyway so you can stock up a few hundred easily. Runecrafting: ZMI is 60k p/h, and you can use running worlds now that free trades back, I have no idea xp rates on running though. Did you count urns in your xp rates? They've made mining wcing and fishing faster.
  14. I bet tezz is raging right about now she deserves it, saving up a full bank of effigies is [bleep]ing beastly
  15. Not sure I got it from pp ages ago, never done master farmers. Theivings not a great way to make cash so I just go for fast xp and use the time saved to make money at tds or frosts. That said though, I heard monkey knife fighters (from do no evil quest) can be decent profit with 300k xp per hour. I'll be doing them whenever I feel the urge to get 99 lol
  16. You need a cash stack for flipping, at least 50m for it to be worth doing. Look into herb runs dailies and kingdom for 1m+ per day with barely any effort, leaving you with plenty of time to keep up your theiving or whatever else you wanna do
  17. Whn I was getting 99 farm I did it all on yews and palms, at that point I didn't bother with dailies, herb runs or kingdom. I just did 2 tree runs per day and slayed the rest of the time and pretty much broke even. You wouldn't make so much from slayer at your level but if you slay on top of herb runs, dailies and kingdom you should overall profit easily. Of course you can substitute slayer for something else that makes money, like fishing, rcing or something.
  18. As a math nerd this just made me love you. I am not sure if I should be creeped out or appreciative, but thanks anyway. :D I am not so sure about Frosts over TDs because of the ashes update and the fact that suomi stills needs cash for the buyables after prayer. But I don't know enough about TDs to make a definite conclusion. However I could with some information. So... Could you use a yak to bank the ashes and other drops at TDs? Or do you have to use a steel titan to keep the kills/h from plummeting? What is the approximate kills/h with yak vs. titan? What is the approximate kills/h of frosts with a yak? What is the approximate drop rate of claws, and all of the dragon armor pieces? and visages from frosts? What is a conservative estimate for the "extra" drops from both frosts and TDs in gp/h? (ie. rune items, seeds, runes... etc.) Tds average to be 100k+ per kill, yak increases that amount by 6k at the cost of kills per hour going from 50 with titan to more like 30 with yak, so really you're losing 1-2m per hour by using yak. Claws are 1/250, I think armour peices are 1/250 too or maybe abit lower. Visage from frosts I'm not sure but I've heard 1/5k, which adds up to about an extra 4k per kill. I think of it that the extra drops from tds break even with your supplies, so you can consider claw/armour drops as profit. So at 50 kils per hour at tds, thats 24,000,000/5 = 4.8m from claws + 2,300,000/5 = 460k from armour pieces. 5.26m per hour assuming small drops pay for supplies 220 kills per hour at frosts, thats 20,000*220 = 4,400,000 from bones + 220*4,000 = 880k from visages - 289*1500 = 433.5k loss from cannonballs. 4.85m per hour assuming small drops pay for supplies other than cannonballs. Obviously this isn't totally accurate and prices will change but it shows tds are slightly better, in short term its down to luck but going for all 200m buyables there luck hardly comes into it.
  19. Not me, either your net or the world you're on is laggy
  20. BBK

    Nex

Yeah that just proves defence level effects aggro, thats exactly the gear I used but with onyx (i) and reavers were aggressive with turmoil and ovl on <_< if I bring spectral that might be enough I guess, bit pointless buying it just for that though lol
  21. Tds are probably better than frosts to be honest. at 50 kills p/h, 1/250 drop rate and 25m for claws that's 5m per hour just from claw drops. And they are insane for blue charms and effigies, not to mention much less boring than frosts. Not that suomi gets bored easily *looks at 200m agility*
  22. Cons and craft assists are difficult to find without paying unfortunately. All others you should be able to get easy enough in w117 though.
  23. reading comprehension fail. Nope I read it fine, it said I can join floors with other <90 dungeoneers but not official floors, unless theres a space. But it's been updated, thanks for clearing that up
  24. Sounds good, I'll be sure to use this when I go for ccb and rigour soon. *rereads* oh 90 dunge requirement, oh well :(
