  1. +1 Also then you can sell the bcp afterwards if you don't need/use it for a while for prayer/herblore levels. Inb4flamedforgoodadvice.
  2. Slayer master for broad arrow/bolt tips are over 100 k. Battlestaffs depend on your varrock task completion. For me (done with all the hard tasks) its 70 k profit. I also pick up my free rune ess from ardy tasks ~ 20 k, and seaweed from catherby ~20 k. That with the rfd chest is 340 k profit in ~10 min.
  3. Kill level three men in edgeville- 300 k/hr Pick mort myre fungi- 600 k/hr Pick whiteberry spawns- 500 k/hr If its less than 300 k/hr its the definition of bad. Hell even green dragons at your level would be closer to 500 k/hr. Clue scrolls take away time from doing slayer and nerfs your exp by a lot. Especially if you're already taking roughly ~7.5 times longer on a task than you should.
  4. Chin nechs and other chinable tasks. Use dragon/rune/addy darts in kuradels dungeon for low defense tasks. Keep using a cannon. For armor use fsh with arma top and bottom, ranger boots, archer (i), sw cape, zammy book. On chinning bring a cross bow to finish off low hp nechs. On really low defense tasks (LRC) use full void+deflector+ACP.
  5. So - it's hearsay basically? Grimy probably has it set to a conservative estimate. You can't very easily incorporate everybody's level in writing a spreadsheet. yes, it's a conservative estimate. I haven't done too much research in the matter. and yes, 99 farming was my first 99, and unfortunately i didn't log my farming data before i started my spreadsheets. I started an herb running data log @ 99 farming, but I never got enough data for it to be significant yet. My data log states: 198 Herb Patches (excluding not trollheim) farmed. 19 herb patches died - which is not a significant sample pool PS Tieszen, can i see ur data ;o I'll send it over on TEF pm when I'm back on my labtop.
  6. Snaps are better than toadflax always.
  7. This is bad advice. Use korasi's+full void+ddefender, berserker ring, fury, fire cape/sw cape. Pray melee. When the defilers spawn attack them once for aggro and safe spot them across the queen so more don't spawn later, plus you don't lose as many attack turns on the queen. Your troops don't kill the queen, they kill her healers. Bring a tort with food and a kyatt+ambush scrolls for when your tort is gone. Spec every time she charges.
  8. I would recommend toadflax in all patches and snap in troll patch until he gets/unless he has jujus. So you recommmend less profit and less exp? /facepalm
  9. So - it's hearsay basically? Grimy probably has it set to a conservative estimate. You can't very easily incorporate everybody's level in writing a spreadsheet. If by hearsay you mean the result of enough testing to prove it then yes. I personally have tested close to 500 seeds and found the result to be consistent with his findings.
  10. Grimy's spreadsheets have it set at 85%. I trust his testing/information. Edit The level up page is wrong.
  11. Higher farming doesn't mean less herb deaths its fixed at 85% if you use super compost. Nor does it effect herb yeild which is fixed at 6.6 without juju's (assuming all other boosts) and 8.8 with juju's (assuming all other boosts). Anything to the contrary is the luck of your run(s) being bad and in the long run will average out for you. I've had 3 patches die in one run, I've also had a 75 herb run with 3 seeds back from my scroll of life, it averages out.
  12. Full inventory is 14 or less dragons. 20-25 minutes per run (the time it takes to do one full task for most people) and you're looking at 3.8 hours of slaying for ~1 mil worth of hides and bones or 270 k gp/hr. Level 3 men in edgeville is literally faster money. But if you find it fun by all means go do it.
  13. This is wrong. Regular restores restore more per dose. Super restores restore prayer and summoning as well as other stats that regulars don't effect. You can restore all the attack/str/def stats lost from 4 doses of brew with one dose of regular restore. For super restores its only 3 doses of brew.
  14. Carrion arent the best for herb seeds, common/draconic are. The lower rate at which you catch carrions due to they're crappy spawns etc offsets their guaranteed herb seed drops.
  15. Here's your problem. More accurate doesn't equal better dps. Fairly sure you're looking at the data on bandos from TEF which shows cls is significantly more accurate on graar than rapier. This doesn't mean cls is better to use, it means its more accurate.
  16. So...adding your question to your other cannon thread would have been...effiicient? I see why you avoided it. Best place to cannon is taverly dungeon.
  17. Fix'd Conservatively placing money making at 1 mil an hour (easily atainable with green dragons at his stats) it would take 20 hours of money making for a fury+berserker. Any good dging will get you from 50 to 81 in ~15 hours, 20-25 if you suck. Considering you wont ever sell the rapier because its amazing, and the other rewards you pick up along the well (scroll of life, scroll of cleansing, gem bag, resource dungeons) its far more worthwhile to get a rapier than it is fury and a berserker ring, both of which are considered BASIC slayer gear. Edit Swap your cape out for an ardy cape (3) or a fire cape or a soul wars cape. Nifflin covered the rest pretty well.
  18. Edit Saw enaids post.
  19. some of us find being efficient fun. but you can't quantify fun so stop asking for advice and go do what makes you happy.
  20. For the love of God drop the hostile attitude. No one told you not to smith your [bleep]ing cannonballs, we said its not saving you money. Its not this complicated efficiency formula, its basic [bleep]ing opportunity cost. If you're set on smithing your own cannonballs why even ask if you should, and since you don't care about exp or profit why post at all? God kids these days...
  21. You don't save money making your own. You lose money as you could easily make enough money to pay for your cannonballs and use them all in half the time it would have taken just to make them yourself.
  22. Small sample size is small. Thing about averages is that they only work out nicely when you approach infinity. Just keep going!
  23. Actually this is help and advice, if you wish to discuss this player and his actions this thread should be in general discussion. As it is you arent asking for help or advice so this shouldn't be here at all.
  24. In real world the value for skills is something like Piety>Bunyip>Extremes>Turmoil>Yak>Overloads I personally place turmoil ahead of extremes because its so much more helpful for dg than herblore and summoning. If you arent patient for charms camp wfs/cannon black demons. If you are patient do slayer.
  25. Edit Removed for redundancy.
