Well basically how it happened is that she moved to the US to study, shortly after so did i. She's in California, i'm in Florida. We saw each other ummm... I think June/July. Before and after that we never saw each other. She left early September 2011. So we've seen each other once in over a year now. When she first moved to California we spoke on the phone each and every day, like she never left. I missed her a lot, and she missed me too. But i knew that was only because she didn't really have friends there yet. When she met some people we started talking a bit less, which i was fine with because i understood why. Sh gets along much better with guys than with girls. It's always been the case. She's never been a particularly girly girl (but god, she can look breathtaking when she puts on a nice dress), and she always got kind of annoyed by the girls who where really girly. So she started making friends, of whom most where guys.it kind of bothered me, but i tried to look past it because i trusted her. Then two or three weeks later i decided to do Pilot Training in Florida. I left 2 weeks after that (mid October). Things got really crazy then because i was on my feet 14 - 16 hours a day for the first two weeks. I almost never had signal on my phone (due to being 3 000 feet high), and when i got home all i wanted to do was sleep. When things started cooling down a bit we started talking regularly again. I told her that maybe we should take a break from each other for a while just until i get used to "my new life". I was lying. I figured "when in Rome". C'mon,i was in the US. Girls were supposed to be hot, and everywhere. I wanted to finally "life the college life" and hook up with some strangers. She knew this, but didn't say anything. For some reason we stil spoke pretty much every day. And then it happened. I started talking to her less and less. i figured that she would always be there. i took her for granted. I started talking to her less and less and started caring less and less. Some days i would really miss her, but sometimes i would go weeks without even caring/thinking of her. I loved her with all my heart but i have a lot of trouble feeling/having any sort of emotions towards a person i cannot touch and/or see. We used to have an overly healthy sex life and this too was making things harder being alone. Then one day i saw her online on Skype and i decided to say hi. Just then i realised it had been about 4 or 5 weeks since i spoke to her. Out last conversation on Skype ended by me saying "I'll be right back i want to go have a smoke". After that she sent me a few messages on skype to which i never replied and a few texts to which i never replied. I don't know why. Anyway i saw her online and i said hi. Then we started having a big argument. She told me that her feelings towards me have changed the past few months ,and although i felt the same way, i started fighting for her. I could no longer have her, and it made me want her more. I went insane and i phoned her constantly and texted her constantly. It was really messy. I can see now that the only reason i acted like that was because the ball was no longer in my court and it drove me crazy. We had constant fights for about 3 weeks because of this (maybe longer). I think a lot of that is still in this thread some pages back. I went through a pretty tough time. Eventually i got over it and we started speaking again for some reason. Was weird at first but it was nice talking to her again. I asked her advice on how to deal with certain girls, and she asked me on how to deal with certain guys. It was strange because we were helping each other out with different relationships. I never told her i was stringing more than one girl along, but it came out one day. She was speaking to my sister and i guess my sister mentioned it to her. She was upset about it and she phoned me that day and asked me about it. I told her the truth, told her i had been seeing more than one girl but it was nothing serious. She told me that since she's been in California she's only had one "serious" relationship but it ended "because he did too many things that reminded me of you, but he didn't do them like you". And the other day i kind of felt the same way about certain things Claire used to do. Anyway...i'm not really sure where i was going with any of this. I never feel like i know until i'm done typing haha. But yeah basically the point is that we had a fallout over something that i did. As much as i hate admitting it, most of it was due to me being selfish. Also it was really bad timing, which didn't help matters at all. She still tells me i'm her best friend, she still tells me i'm her number one boy. And i still tell her she's my best friend, and she's my number one girl. I would get back together with her in a heartbeat simply because we never broke up because of hate, but rather because of bad timing. We had fights because we missed each other and we were frustrated. I wouldn't move in with her straight away, because i know what type of person i am. I kinda like living with my parents anyway. I miss them and i have not actively seen them for over a year now, and when i get back home i want to live with them a while before making any life changing choices. But i was just thinking that if the chance was ever there, i would live with her. I'm probably never going to get married, because i don't want to buy in the a socially glorified money making scheme. I'd make her my "civil partner" or whatever.......

Not just in regards to the selling, but in regards to how much he actually owned. I think that once a player has a large bank, and constantly reminds the public of how much he has, he puts a lot of eyes on him. So someone like Fishy, with a 100b bank that keeps telling people he has a 100b bank puts a lot of focus on himself. So when 50b vanished from his account eyebrows will be raised. But when someone with a 100b bank, that keeps it to himself, sells 50b, no one besides him knew about it in the first place. I don't know if Jagex has any kind of system that tells them whenever a big unbalanced money transfer is happening, which would really be the only way they would know in a case like that.

Only reason we broke up was because she went to California for College and i came to Florida for College and both of our courses was going to be 18 months +. I mean we has our fights ans shit when we were together, but nothing that isn't normal. We just kind of had a big fallout few weeks after we broke up because i guess she was a bit confused.

My ex has been texting me a lot the past few days. I'm not sure why. It's weird because it's the kind of texts she used to send me when we were together. I like hearing from her again, and i like conversing with her again. It kind of reminds me of what we had. She asked me today, if the world was to end now, would i be by her side... I've been the only person besides her family that's come into her life ans stayed after saying i would. Most people always just use her for something then abandon her and i'm the one person that never did in spite of what she put me through when we broke up. I do kinda feel like i miss her. And i would jump at being with her again. And i have a good feeling that things can be very different this time because i'll have a job, and a good one. We can live together which means we won't have that frustration that builds up from only seeing each other on weekends. See this shit? I'm going mad.

Decided to do my 160 Greater Demons task at Zammy. Going to take a while, i guess, but it's a lot of fun and could lead to some good profit :D

So i'm guessing i just stick to Void + Deflector and use 1-handed weapons to be safe?

Well if it changes anything for Magic 2h i use ABS, for Ranged i use Royal Crossbow, and for Melee 2H i use a Godsword/SS/ZS

I'm still kind of trying to get used to how things are now. I've been trying to mess around a bit to see what works best, but i really can't seem to figure it out. When i'm killing something with high LP, like a boss, i'm unsure what the best way is to go about killing him. There are two options that i've been using: 1.) Pretty much ability spam, bet my adrenaline up, use ultimate, repeat. 2.) Time my abilities to "sync" with my normal weapon hits. In option 1 i don't think i have a lot of auto-attacks because i'm spamming abilities. I have my bar setup in a way that allows me to use abilities non-stop without having to wait for one to cool down at any time. In option 2 i basically have the same amount of auto-attacks as abilities. I've noticed that i hit quite well with the auto attacks too. I just can't really figure out which way is the best way of doing it. Also, if it matters, for KBD i usually use 2h weapons and for QBD/Zammy i use 1 Handed with a shield.

Suing Jagex, lmfao. Wow this [bleep]face took one of my favorite poems and made a complete joke of it. Seriously these people whining about how EoC ruined RS need to have a wake-up call. They are acting like RS was their entire life, and they will now no longer be able to survive. If you do not like what has become of RS, then it's simple. Just quit. There's no need for a lengthy rant about how much you hate what has become of it, or how much you hate it, or how much Jagex wants your money. Just shut your face, and quit. Also i feel like a lot of these people who are writing their rants have some of the worst spelling and grammar i have seen in a very long time.

There's been a lot of talk about friendzone and stuff, and i kind of have to agree with some of the people on here who say that the firendzone only exists when you make it exist. If you're not going to do anything to make things happen between the two of you, nothing probably will. Remember that girls are human too, and they're just as scared as guys are (whether we like to admit it or not). Also a lot of them, whether they want to admit it or not, are still very old fashioned meaning that they're not going to make a move on a guy, they're going to wait till h does so because they believe it's your duty as a guy to do it. This i find pure and utter bullshit because how many women protest for gender equality then go to a bar and wait for a guy to hit on them? Anyway that's another day's battle. To get back on point, they're going to wait for you to make the first big move. Until you make that big move, you're putting yourself in the waiting line for the friendzone. Th longer you wait to make your big move, the closer you're going to get to the front of the line. And once you get to the front of the line (the friendzone) it might be hard to get out (but not impossible). 6 years ago when i first moved to the middle east, i met a cute Welsh girl through a friend. We pretty much hit it off right away. She was really pretty and made me very nervous. The first night i tried making an impression on her. We all went out to a Shisha bar and spent the night there. It was a lot of fun. When we were on our way home me and the girl shared a cab because she lived close to where i lived. We talked a bit in the car but it was really awkward. I asked her for her number as we got to her house and told her maybe we can hang out some time. Now i knew we would hang out again at some point (probably the next weekend) because my she and my friend knew each other pretty well. About a week or two later me and the girl talked on a daily basis, saw each other a few times a week. I liked her a lot but i was scared to do anything. I was 16 or 17, i had 0 game, i had bad skin, low self confidence. I had a good feeling this girl liked me but i kept telling myself that "she can't like me, look at me" and that's how it began. I always told my self i would try get her alone but i never really did because i was scared, haha. We ended up becoming great friends (i put myself in the friendzone). It's now 6 years later, we still talk on a daily basis, i still wish i had done something. I have told her this many times and she told me many times that she wished i did something too. So basically, i put myself in the friendzone because i was too scared to do something. Girls are only going to wait so long before they lose interest in you, so you better do something to show your interest in her before that time's up. My two cents.

Something i've been curious about for a while now and was wondering what you guys think. I know a few people who used to sell GP and they made quite a lot of money from it. Maybe not as much as Fishy and Starry and those guys, but still a lot (i would estimate more or less $20 000 if i had to guess). They have ever been caught, nor ever been accused of selling GP. They are not well known, at all. They make the odd RS video now and then, but they never really show their banks. They don't do bank videos, they don't brag about how big their bank is (even though it's probably close to 40b, or 50b). They're extremely modest players, i guess. They've made the majority of their money from merching and some staking here and there. I wouldn't say that they tried staying under the radar, but they've just played this game without any real care about what any one else thinks. Only one of them is still selling GP, and he says he'll probably do so until he gets banned but the rest of them stopped when a lot of RWTers were getting banned. None of them have been suspected so far, and i doubt any of them ever will. I think one of them belongs/belonged to a dicing clan for a while and made a lot of money, but again he never really told anyone but me and another guy what his real bank value was. So i'm wondering, if Fishy and Starry and those guys followed the same approach, would they have been banned? I mean, video makers draw a lot of attention to themselves (especially when they have a 50b+ bank) and if they never drew that kind of attention to themselves things might have been different.

Did you have a lot of trouble getting your TokHaar on your Zerker? I've been thinking about getting a spare one ever since EoC. Also, i won't have any Chaotics. Pretty much second best for everything though.

You are either really unlucky or i am really lucky. But 2 days ago i was doing my second Spectres task ever on the "new" account and got one only a few kills in lol.

I've been getting ~250k/h - -270k/h with some easy and i was limited to batwing (50 Def) and ABS. I'm positive that with good use of the ability bar, adrenaline potions and max gear 300k+ would be a breeze.

You have a point regarding why he should be able to be sued - unfortunately that doesn't mean that's actually the case. In most of these issues, it comes back to the same thing - laws regarding virtual items or anything of the like are still scarce. There have been some court decisions favouring regarding virtual items with a value, but so far, that's only individual cases mostly. The law is still outdated for general usage. I think the possiblity of gambling real money for virtual items for minors through the SoF should be illegal too, but you meet the same kind of restrictions here.... In regards the the Laws against virtual theft, etc. I think in this case it might be a bit different as not only virtual items played a role, but also real money, which might be the difference. I know there have been similar cases in the past but with much smaller amounts of money. And a court will treat a $100 case different to a $60 000 case. It's a much more serious matter. And because Fishy didn't scam people for their money, meaning he didn't just turn virtual wealth into more virtual wealth, but instead turned virtual wealth into real life wealth (meaning real life property now plays a role) it might be a bit different. I feel like Mojo Jojo typing that because i think i repeated myself a few times, but i have a concept in my head that im struggling to put down in words haha. As for the SoF. Jagex is kind of safe there because it's not really gambling. An act of gambling; an enterprise undertaken or attempted with a risk of loss and a chance of profit or success." Since you're never at risk of losing money it's not really gambling. You're still playing a game of chance, but you have a 100% chance of winning something. So i guess, seeing as you're never going to "lose" anything, they're safe. Although i really wish it wasn't the case because something like SoF could lead to something worse for some people later on.

Well, here's the thing. Jagex is a company like any other. Their property remains theirs and theirs alone unless they decide to sell it to players. We as players "sign a contract" when we create out accounts stating that we agree to not being owners of the accounts but rather "users" of the account, but at the end all property still remains that of Jagex's. So Jagex is kind of allowing us to borrow their account for a fee each month and do with it as we please, as long as we follow certain rules/guidelines. One of those rules being the RWT rule. Lets say i rent a house from someone. They tell me i am free to live there as long as i want, as long as i pay my bills/rent each month, keep it clean and up to shape. The only thing i am not allowed to do is make any changes in regards to painting/building extras or whatever, and that i replace whatever i break. Now lets say i break 5 windows in the house, paint the whole house purple and build an extra garage onto the house. Clearly i have broken the agreement we had, and that guy has full right to take me to court. This is kind of obvious. Fishy did a similar thing. He broke the agreement and he decided to RWT anyway. What makes this even worse is that he profited off of someone else's intellectual property when the RWT rule was put in place to prevent that. I'm not saying that my post is 100% fact or anything, or that it's 100% possible, but that's just my take on things and how Jagex might be able to take action against Fishy.

Basically i want to get myself a Void set. This includes all the Helms as well as a Deflector. I figured it might come in handy in situations where a shield is of better use than an Off Hand, for one. Anyway, i remember hearing a few months ago that a very fast way to get Commendations was to have a friend lose against you in Conquest or something like that. Does that still work? And if so, how exactly does it work? If that's doesn't work anymore, would the fastest way be just to stick to the Vet boat? I'll have to start from scratch since i don't think i have any Commendations. Also, would doing the Void Stares Back be worth it if the only reason for doing it is for Elite Void? I'll have to spend about 10m or so to get my Construction and Crafting to 70 each ,which i don't mind, but i don't want to do that if the extra Prayer Bonus is hardly going to make a difference.

By now it's too late to get his accs back, so there's really no harm in coming 'clean'. But I do agree with your first 3 points, it's really him trying to justify his actions with the same poor excuses everyone uses. I really don't like how he says he's sure that Jagex had no evidence against him. Obviously there was some because Jagex always errs on the side of caution. Naturally, evidence can be 'wrong' in the sense that they perm'd his friends that he was transfering GP to assuming it was RWT, but to say Jagex had no evidence whatsoever seems to be a gross underestimating of Jagex. You're so wrong in so many ways. You really have no idea. Jagex, in most cases, had no evidence that any of these players were involved with RWT by any means. The only thing they had was large amounts of money (gp) disappearing off their accounts how ever often they chose to sell. This is nothing more than a suggestion that RWT might be a possibility, or another being that they are just very generous and like to give their money to random people across Runescape. I find it rather sad though, how Jagex is handling this whole situation. It's really immature, and should have ended long ago. That money could have literally gone anywhere. Also, i really do hope they take Fishy to court, along with the rest of the people in his clan. If they want to make an example of how serious they take RWT, they now have the perfect chance.
