  1. Hi once again! And a very warm welcome back :).
  2. Hiya, cheers for the observation. I've added the Meilyr combination potions as another section in the Herblore calculator and planner, as well as listing them under the all section. Enjoy! :)
  3. Thanks for the pc's, I think I can safely say I'm not going to bother with an upgrade.
  4. Morytania Madness | Plushies | Myreque Memorial It’s Morytania Madness this week in a pre-release event for the upcoming quest, River of Blood. Hunt down haunted plushies and honour the vampire-hunting dead while you relive the vampyre storyline so far. Early bird bonuses on Memorial to the Myreque offer tons of extra XP for members who complete the content early. Combat players can also sharpen their stakes with glee and take on a new ghoul in a new tomb, seeking out a new item too. Read on for more! As it takes place in Morytania, this pre-release event is RuneScape members only. We strongly recommend that members play through or revisit the Myreque quest series alongside this event to get the most out of it and prepare for River of Blood. The Lost Toys | Vampyre Plushie Hunting Talk to Lex in the pub in Canifis to begin. You must have at least completed the Myreque quest In Search of the Myreque for Lex and the plushies to appear. Dreadful rumours are circulating about 13 possessed plushie toys that are waiting to be discovered across Morytania! Get clues to the locations of each of these by talking to Lex in the pub in Canifis. Some plushies are located in areas you visit in Myreque-quests, so play through the series or revisit them to pick them up! Each plushie can be squeezed to hear its unique and demonic personality and also to receive a shiny columbarium key, so be sure to have your headphones switched on! Return all 13 plushies to Lex to complete this part of the event and earn a special, cosmetic surprise. Memorial to the Myreque | Early Bird Bonus Talk to Veliaf north of the Canifis lodestone. You must have completed all of the Myreque quest series up to and including Lord of Vampyrium to begin building the memorial. The brave Veliaf needs your help to build a memorial to remember the sacrifices that precede River of Blood. Gather materials, construct the monument and every day you can build a new statue to each of the 10 fallen Myreque heroes that it depicts. You will earn Construction XP for building each of these statues as well as Prayer XP when you complete each one by adorning it with an object of reverence. Return and talk to Veliaf each day to add a new statue. You can also receive an early bird bonus of more than 100,000 XP in total if you complete all 10 statues on the memorial between now and 23:59 on 30 April. This XP will be given across the Skills that receive XP rewards in all the Myreque quests so far. Note that you also have the option to reject being awarded any combat XP from this early bird bonus, should you wish to. Ravenous Ghouls | New Crypt| Congealed Blood – useful quest item A new ghoulish crypt has been added north-west of the Canifis lodestone with a new enemy type, the high-level ravenous ghoul. Ravenous ghouls might not prove to be too daunting when fought one-on-one, but with the release of River of Blood you will be able to awaken a greater bloodlust in them by equipping the upcoming pocket-slot items... Many creatures around Morytania (but especially this new one) now have a chance to drop Congealed Blood – an item that will be used with the rewards for River of Blood. Graphical Updates to Morytania | Storyline Recaps| Patch Notes Paterdomus temple and Canifis have been graphically updated. Ghouls have also been given a new lease of un-life with updated visuals and re-mappings to north-east of the divination crater. The Ghoul Champion has been graphically updated too. For a recap of the storyline in the Myreque quest-line so far, talk to the children, Amelia or Rory, in north-west Burgh de Rott. That’s not all though. For a full list of changes that this update brings, along with all other notes see the patch notes forum thread. This week's live streams Each week we stream developer Q&As, in-game events and more. 5. Actually with the release of GWD2 there is a new tier of nondegradable armor which is quite versatile. There are four sets: one for each style (Zamorak for ranged, Zaros for melee, Seren for magic) and a sliske set that functions as hybrid armor. They are around the same price range as the nex stuff, but lack the prayer and lifepoint bonuses. If you don't like degradables I'd suggest you at least swap out ahrim's for subjugation as it does not degrade, and perhaps upgrade weapon too. For most Slayer either the t70 or t80 power armor (nondegradable) should be more than enough. Nex armor can be used alternatively but you'll be sacrificing a couple hundred k/hr in maintenance costs for very little marginal benefit. Ports are good to get started on but in the short term offer pretty much no marginal benefit. I've been doing them about as efficiently as possible for months and am still yet to get my first piece of armor, so it would be good to give that a running start at least. The (untradeable) ports armor does still degrade, but at a slower rate than the Nex tier stuff. Degradable weapons is pretty much a necessity if you want to boss though. Since you already have most chaotics the next step would probably be making cash to afford a noxious scythe/noxious longbow/ascension c'bows/noxious staff, depending on what type of combat suits your preference. But drygores + bandos armor should be decent cash for a while. Also I'm assuming you already have overloads?
  6. While the advice is appreciated, please don't bump old topics. Thanks and closed.
  7. How much does that amount to all up these days, if anyone is familiar with current prices...? Nex & Ss doesn't cover them.

Was that karma for eating our national bird?
  9. 21,816.
  10. Welcome back to RS! I take it pking is one of your favorite activities?
  11. Nice to meet you, haven't been checking the intro forum much lately :P.
  12. Oh you meant in-game, sorry...the easiest way I can think of would be to go to Settings > Controls > Scroll down to 'Windows and Navigation' and find emotes about halfway down in the list, assign emotes a keybind temporarily, and press that button to make them reappear wherever they were on your interface before. If that still doesn't work you will probably need to reset it to one of the saved presets.
  13. I'm not sure which skin you're on, but is there a little dropdown arrow by the side of the top-right where the toolbar is? That's the only way I can seem to hide/show my options on the editor but I might be missing something or on a different skin than you are.
  14. Help! I'm seeing double. Help! I'm seeing double. Who knew adding a button to clear chat messages could cause so many glitches...
  15. Spurred on by the mention in the patch notes, I got my first pair of swift gloves, and having fun so far. They do seem to be useful as the upshot is to grant you a small dps buff (comparable to t90 gloves/dt brace?) and more importantly, have a chance on each basic ability to debuff your target's defense, ranged, and magic (for swifts). If you're not at 100% accuracy, this is a huge boon and very noticeable. If you're killing GWD bosses or low level slayer tasks, I'd imagine it's somewhat less useful. Some of the higher level team PvM bosses also regenerate stats, so sadly not much use there.

I don't think there is that much of a craze for it - then again, you can only park a car for of corn so many places in the middle of the city. I do tend to buy it when it's in season though. It's cheap and good for you after all...
  17. Arceus replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
If you go to Middle Eastern type food places you'll find plenty of it, so it's definitely around. I don't have it personally but my brother likes it.
  18. 21,820.
  19. Yeah it might help if you're going bossing for the higher accuracy. It might be advisable to wait for a bit until prices sink/stabilize some more though. Also I don't think there's any point in the offhand ones on EoC since off-hand accuracy does not contribute to ability accuracy.
  20. I think it was intended that way for balancing purposes.
  21. Absolutely, there is a large difference between tiers. But if you're just going to say afk on hellhounds for a day or train Slayer, you won't notice it too much since an SGS will be accurate enough to achieve 100% accuracy on a lot of low level monsters. It will just be a tad slower for the time being. Looking forward to chatting with you too!
  22. Judging from your current stats I think a good place to start off would be Slayer. You can buy some good melee equipment and tear through virtually everything, except a select few monsters with immunities. As you do this, you can pick up and accumulate charms which will help you to level up Summoning, which as I'm sure you've read is essential for higher level combat efficiency. I'd suggest you spend a little time levelling up Dungeoneering and Divination to a reasonable level (~50) and then at least farm rewards off dailies from those skills. That way by the time you get to the stage where you can get the useful rewards for the skills you will be ready for them. For Dungeoneering, you can do two sinkholes per day, which will give you dungeoneering xp and/or tokens. For Divination, you can play the minigame Guthixian Caches, which gives a very decent chunk of Divination xp for a rather small time investment, especially when you get more practice with the minigame. For Summoning there is a weekly distraction and diversion known as Familiarisation, which gives you extra charms for 40 minutes if you complete it thoroughly. It helps a bit (though is not necessary) to complete the quest As a First Resort... for infinite run energy whilst playing. You can then take your ticket to a good spot to train like waterfiends (use a bolt ranged weapon) or exiled kalphite guardians (water spells) and rack up charms. Good gear for now (assuming Slayer) would be the level 70 power armor, so bandos/armadyl/subjugation.The boots and gloves can be swapped for hybrid pieces if you want to save money. For weapons there are a number of options: saradomin godsword (healing passive/active, can be swapped with 70 Agility), with 85 Attack, the new weapons blade of nymora/avaryss, and at 90, drygores, one of the best melee weapons in the game. For ranged I guess a pair of armadyl c'bows would serve you best for now, or zaryte bow if you have the cash. For magic staff of light/abyssal wand & orb/armadyl battlestaff/virtus wand & orb are all good options. You could try farming bosses like GWD, though in all honesty without tier 90 weapons, overloads, beast of burden, or the level 95 curses it will be kind of tough going and perhaps more frustration than good loot. I'm not sure what priority to advise but probably at least 70 prayer -> piety/rigour/chivalry -> war tortoise (67 summoning) -> more prayer/herblore would be a good start. Herblore offers very little tangible benefit until adrenaline potions (84 I think) and overloads (96). You can boost a few levels through various means to make them but you get the idea. If you'd like I could take you sometime, as it should be easier with two people. Most quests are not a bad investment of time, given that they either unlock useful little things, experience rewards, or further quests with more useful rewards. For example, the digsite quest (gives several new combat abilities), Desert Treasure (ancient spells), and The Temple at Senntisten (curses). If you never did the quests for Void, that series is good to do too and eventually earn. If you're looking for any other tips, feel free to send me a PM in-game (Arceuus) or ask here :).
  23. 21,,824. Nice, enjoy!

It is apparently a gift for playing at least 10 hours on DarkScape before its close. Nice way of them to say thank you :P http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Xp_cache
  25. Thanks for your post :). I've moved your thread to Website Corrections & Updates where it is better suited. You are indeed right, we do not really have guides for higher level PvM stuff. This is in large part because, to the best of my knowledge, most of us (Tip.It Crew) do not kill these bosses, as most require top tier gear and a large, well-coordinated team. Something like strategy for rune dragons or GWD2 bosses should be more manageable though, and might be something we could look into.
