  1. Could you give a little more information about what seems to be going wrong? When you type in 120 in the target level box it should pop up the xp required for it like so:
  2. 21,913. Oh dear, sorry to hear that.
  3. Ah good catch! I've added them into our Fletching Calculator and Planner now - they should appear under 'all items' and 'arrows.' Cheers and thanks again :).
  4. I've posted on your other thread here so I'm closing this one. If you could please stick to one thread in the future that would be great :).
  5. Hi there, thanks for making an account and posting :). I was under the impression they were already there - if you visit the Fletching calculator and scroll down in either the 'All' or 'Arrow' sections, you should see them down there: I believe that covers it, or were you perhaps looking for something else to be added?
  6. Under normal circumstances, blood rune running via abyss surpasses Runespan by a bit in efficiency. I'm not sure how everything stacks for the double XP weekend, but most likely 2x runespan will be faster experience than rune running through abyss. If you end up doing runespan, it might be wise if possible to stock up on a lot of essence in there via siphoning off creatures before the weekend. Then (as long as you don't leave the area) you can get straight to it without wasting any time gathering it.
  7. Seren crystals are content unlocked in the Elf city of Prifddinas where you can train prayer essentially afk. Bonus XP is in general accumulated from Treasure Hunter and from the occasional promotion or event that Jagex runs, like the 15th anniversary party they had all last month. You can hope to get a little off daily Treasure Hunter keys but (with a few exceptions, notably some minigames like Heist and Barbarian Assault) you can't really farm it.
  8. Also if you eventually get into Prif, with 97 Herblore (95 from banner) you can mix 4 dose overloads with 4 dose prayer renewals and a crystal flask to make 6-dose holy overloads, which give overload + prayer renewal effect combined, giving you more experience. I'm messaging you in-game but what are your best weapons/armor? GWD isn't as hard these days but it's less efficient with lower tiered weaponry.
  9. As Cheat mentioned you can boost for those overloads - 2 levels reliably from a god banner, or up to 7 from pulse cores, if you're lucky. 95 prayer can help quite a bit, depending on what you want to do, but it is going to cost a good chunk of cash from level 70, assuming your stat signature is current. If you are clever/patient there are also ways to train Herblore more slowly, but for free or even profit - for example from herbs to summoning potions made me a good sum a while ago.
  10. Oh congratulations! 21,917.
  11. Happy birthday!

  12. I wonder if this is being played in Britain now...
  13. For you personally I would probably suggest runecrafting either cosmic or fire runes. For cosmic runes, you should get a few more Agility levels so you can use the shortcuts which require 66 to get through. You can boost 5 levels with a summer pie if you don't want to train all the way up. For fire runes, you can just use ring of duelling and your favorite banking method for trips. Fire runes have increased substantially in price due to Invention so this is much better than it used to be. You'll get ~2.3 fire runes/ess. If you have completed the Lumbridge tasks bring along the explorer ring for more free runes. While you're doing that you can also take advantage of your Farming level and do herb runs. If you have them, take advantage of magic secutaurs, farming juju potions, and the Greenfingers aura. It's not a phenomenal amount of cash but it adds up: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculator:Farming/Herbs . Dungeoneering might also be good to train up as it has lots of good rewards, for example a scroll of farming for a chance at seeds back when harvesting crops, and many other things. But like you mentioned a lot of the good methods require higher levels, which tend to require money to increase at any decent efficiency. You will get there though :).
  14. That's quite a long time - welcome back! I guess since the time of your departure they have moved world 14 and many others over to the dark side...then again I don't think I was even playing back then! I wish you luck in finding your friends. When the name changes hit several years ago everything went nuts in that regard.
  15. Extreme ranged and magics are faster since they have a stackable secondary. Make sure you knock out the soul-crushing process of grinding mud runes prior to the weekend! 1300/hr or so seems about right for the overloads though - took me even longer because I was doing it at a portable station and all the people there were lagging my game. I'm not sure if it will make too much impact on speed with a good connection but you can fill a yak with ingredients and withdraw after you mix the first few. It might be worth a try. I am not sure about Refer A Friend or how that stacks though, sorry.

The companies make these tests for pennies on the dollar, spend money to lobby and make sure the standardized tests stay, and pocket the funding that is provided for education. The cost of making a multiple-choice test for millions of students and recirculating the questions appropriately for randomness is low when you consider unit price. For example, the test that plays a large role in determining whether/which colleges (in the sense of undergraduate education) here, the SAT, costs at least $50. But to be fair, this does include an essay portion that is read by humans in addition to multiple choice questions. They are paid per paper they read, and told to spend two minutes reading them. So they get $50 for four minutes of low-wage labor and running a sheet through a machine to scan the answers and score it. If you want the results of your test sent to more than a few schools, they will also charge you additional fees to sent that result and 50 cent envelope around too. When it's time for graduate school, there is another round of standardized testing which is even more (upwards of $100 I think) and is purely multiple choice. So while the actual costs of such an operation should be low, the government/school system is ripped off into paying these corporations ludicrous contracts. It's no wonder Pearson, ETS, and other companies spend millions lobbying for it. You can search in Google to find any number of articles but here is one: http://www.prwatch.org/news/2015/03/12777/reporters-guide-how-pearson-ets-houghton-mifflin-and-mcgraw-hill-are-profiting .
  17. Yes, in fact. Awesome, I've played pure F2P for a while too. I have a members account I made eventually as well.

It's not just in the States - from what I've heard the UK is even worse.Wow. Most already written thing I've had in school, that I know about, is Math last semester when the teacher was basically just reaching what the book said. Even then he took a couple of days and did different stuff when he felt it would help more. Can't imagine every year just being a push to the next standardized test. Yeah I think the end of stratification, the emphasis on standardized testing, and No Child Left Behind have done such a job on the primary/secondary education system that, aside from the occasional teacher making a larger-than-life effort, prospects look pretty dim.
  19. Hmm up to you ultimately. You could start off with Slayer on your old one - unless you are a very high level in the skill most of the tasks you get should be relatively easy and a good way to find your footing wth the new combat system. And in regards to the clan of course :). Shoot me a PM in-game ("Its Arceus") and I can get you set up. Just FYI though, it's only accessible on RS3 - the clan system doesn't cross over to OSRS.
  20. 1. Buying membership and doing all the low-level and transportation quests is a good way to start off, i.e. Witch's Potion, Waterfall, Tree Gnome Village, Fairy Tale series, etc. 2. Yes there seems to be a healthy number here: http://forum.tip.it/forum/59-blogscape-ongoing-progress-reports-and-goals/ . 3. In my (biased) opinion sure, even the low levels are pretty quick to level through if you know what you're doing. Most of the pre-Eoc quests are almost trivialized in difficulty with a decent tier of weapon and armor compared to what they would be on Old School, for example. If you do get into it you should stop by the Combat Academy in Lumbridge, just north of the big castle, and take the tutorial for the new combat system there. You can play it in a legacy system, use the legacy interfaces, or both, if you prefer the old school look on RS3. The Saradomin godsword is still worth a moderate amount as far as weapons go, ~10M since it has a healing special/passive that can be toggled, making it desirable for Slayer, PvM, and lower tier bossing. I'm not sure what you mean y rares - things like h'weens and partyhats are still up there in price. Weapons and armor tiers have been progressively outdated, driving down the prices, though the release of the newest skill being effectively a massive item sink over here has put some life back into them. A lot of things are easier though - for example the joke that you can just go and afk bosses. Bond trading only really allowed a redistribution of wealth based on players spending real money and others trading them the in-game coins in exchange for whatever they consume the bonds for. As a net it doesn't really contribute much toward deflation. I guess I don't understand your comment because Old School also has bonds, and they give away "rares" (drop phats, masks, etc.) every holiday anyway.
