Thanks all for the help. We'll have to hope for the best.. Next thinking about getting food arranged since I won't have a car. I looked up Instacart but that was a lot of sticker shock...tried Walmart but then it says undeliverable to my new address. I guess I can just walk to the closest supermarket a mile away and buy the nonperishables on Walmart and other sites...

Don't rent a modem. The monthly rental fee after a year is about as much money if not a bit more as a super solid modem and router would end up, except then after that you have to keep paying for it. Just a waste of money. Just had to deal with this, got this router and this modem and I've been pretty happy with them, get my full 150mbps even 2 stories up from where the modem is and can balance as many devices as my roommate and I use without a problem. You could probably get by with cheaper stuff too, I just wanted to future proof a bit cause I figured I'd be paying about that much for a year of rental anyways and didn't want to deal with deadzones with how many stories my current apartment is. Ah so I need to get both a router and modem for it to work? I guess the internet company's "box" is both combined in one thing. Will it be a major hassle to get it working?

They say they will send a set-up kit for $15 in the mail and I can set it up myself. Not sure if it's a good idea to rent theirs as a backup/if I can just send it back after a week and not pay much, or if they will throw a lot of other charges in there. Otherwise if the one I buy doesn't work somehow, it's wait another week for internet access...

So I'll be moving soon and one of the lovely things to take care of is internet. It appears I have my choice of Cox, Comcast, and Verizon (and not sure if Verizon offers Fios there so it may be out). I have heard that I'm better off buying my own router as opposed to paying for whatever they want to sell me. Should I do so and any recommendations? Probably keeping ping lowest and having good reliability would be the highest priority - getting every last mb of speed out of it not as much.

How much is 7m worth these days
On the plus side, it is slightly easier to upkeep your membership. If you make a reasonable effort doing dailies like vis wax, reselling runes/other items from shops when profitable, and sprinkle in a few hours of dragon slaying, Slayer, or your favorite form of combat, it should be possible to upkeep your membership indefinitely as long as you stick to it. Rune crossbow, magic crossbow, and that sort of thing are essentially Invention disassembly fodder these days - you can get equipment a few tiers higher for not much cost through various TH promotions/other gimmicks, or straight up cash. I'm not sure how accessible they are if you haven't been playing for a while, though. Void armor is kind of borderline just for the fact that it has the damage and accuracy bonus. If you're not fighting something where you take too much damage, or someone else is taking a tank role so you can dps, you should be okay. In the context of quests it might be more of a liability than a help - depending on how much of the damage you're taking is typeless/unblockable. Sadly I don't remember too many of the details as I rushed most of the quests toward the end, but I had much higher tear gear. As for worthwhile stuff, you could probably get enough for most of the weapons at the tier 80/85 level (requiring 80/85 in offensive stat) and tier 70 armor without too much trouble. It gets rather exponentially steep after that though, particularly on the weapons sides of things. For example, a noxious longbow (t90) will cost ~120m, and a set of t92 crossbows will be close to a couple billion. I'm not sure about HYT chat - if there's any update beyond Serpent Eye than I haven't kept up with it subsequently, as that's the last I heard, but it could well be old information. If you need any more tips or information on things please do ask!

A question about Solomon's General Store
You can buy a legendary pet or more bank space for example, which provide some in-game benefit. But there isn't too much else useful in there.

Money best spent?
At this stage your money is likely best spent on more weapons, as they make the most significant difference in my opinion. Anima core are also good tier 80 sets without the headache of degrading, which can really add up if you are trying new bosses and incurring a good number of deaths. Some things you could try might be a DPS role at Kalphite King or Beastmaster Durzag (Raids), duoing at Nex, or the GWD2 bosses in the Heart of Gielinor. There are also a bunch of miscellaneous improvements - for example ring of vigour for damage-boosting ultimates, Defence cape for a free sign of life to save you if you die, and most importantly augmenting your gear via Invention. If you need any more information feel free to ask more questions!

What was the question? It was fizzbuzz, calculate n!, then find the duplicate in a list (which I kind of did but only as an O(n^2) method, couldn't think out a faster way on the spot). After that they asked a more free-form question of what sort of code you would use to design an electronic system for a library.

Today...
I had that job interview, and after a while they asked me some coding questions. I answered it for the most part and then they disappeared for about 20 minutes and sent me home early because my coding skills weren't good enough. I don't think I did that poorly...it was kind of surreal.

Long Service Leave?
Thanks for clarifying on urns. I think the problem is a bit of a bug on Jagex's end. When you have a runed urn in your inventory, it seems you need an empty inventory space, and otherwise it will not start to fill. The game needs an extra inventory space to "create" the partially filled urn before it can delete the runed one, and since there's no inventory space, it can't do so. I am fairly confident this is the issue because Jagex has had this sort of bug in other contexts. The best suggestion I can think of it to leave one inventory space open and that should resolve the issue. I'm not sure what's going on with fishing or mining, though. Chopping onions, as well as a bunch of other miscellaneous small tasks, were given a nominal amount of xp in a patch at some point. Since it now awards xp, it will contribute to filling your urn, albeit very slowly. Lesser demons still drop accursed ashes (I just checked) and they have the option to scatter. It seems likely that you have some sort of drop cleaner with you using up the ashes before you can get to them - for example, a demon horn necklace or one of its lower-tiered variants. These consume the ashes in exchange for prayer points, so there are no ashes left to be put in the urn. I'll see about adding info on the fragments when I have a chance. Catablepons do drop eyes of newt, and are probably your best bet at the moment. Sources for unicorn horn are more limited. Other than unicorns, a few monsters that drop them are unicows (if you have creature creation unlocked), Commander Zilyana and her minions, and celestial dragons. I don't know about the frequency of gems. I suppose it's possible they adjusted rarity behind the scenes but from a general game knowledge point of view it seems unlikely to me. And yeah, signs of the porter don't work on gems. There is a gem bag available as a Dungeoneering reward to hold a large number of gems in one inventory space, which you might find useful. As far as I know the rune platebody has always required Dragon Slayer to wear (though not buy). Here's the update post. Hopefully that helps.
