ring of kinship interface will not let me replay floor 1
Arceus replied to Conan23's topic in Help and Advice
You can certainly redo floor 1. Once you form a party, you should be able to click the button to change it in the interface (I think it says 'Change') and then just click in the appropriate place to set it to 1. -
Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
Arceus replied to misterxman's topic in General Discussion
Congrats, nice achievements! What about kiln for an onyx though, might that be faster? -
How do I buy a Big fishing Net if only Paid members are allowed ?
Arceus replied to Conan23's topic in Help and Advice
I think it's a members-only challenge, as cod is a members-only fish (unless it's changed). You are a free player, right? -
what is the purpose of collecting coruption for the Charmed sack
Arceus replied to Conan23's topic in Help and Advice
It's purely to do with the Nexus and its role in playing that minigame. Other than that, I don't believe it serves any purpose. -
where is Headless rider cosmetic ? after finishing Ghost stories ?
Arceus replied to Conan23's topic in Help and Advice
Moving to Help & Advice. Did you check the wardrobe, where the rest of the cosmetics are? It should be there. -
No, it's not possible to do that. Your old stats stay on the RS3 version, and if you choose to play Old School, you have to start from all level 1, no matter what, as it is for everyone.

To the best of my knowledge (though it's possible I may be mistaken), all levels of urns are equally likely to grant a piece of ibis. However, the sarcophagi and chests have a better chance, making an optimal strategy to check only those in the lower rooms, then go through as much as possible in the highest two rooms that are accessible at your Thieving level.

Any way you could open it up and fix it? A laptop I had was having an issue with the button and I just opened it and managed to fix the mechanism controlling it. I don't know if phones are so amenable to tinkering though...

Dimension of the Damned Pit yourself and your friends against the undead in Dimension of the Damned and compete for the unique title of King/Queen of the Damned and a host of prizes - the ultimate PvM challenge. Start the one-hour timer using your HUD in-game and rack up points while slaying as many zombies as you can to secure your place on the leaderboard. You can restart the clock to improve your score as many times as you’d like. The top 1,000 players after ten days will make it through to the finale on the 28th for the chance to win a selection of sought-after prizes, including (but not limited to) lifetime membership, an all expenses paid trip to Jagex and 200M GP. Need-to-knows Dimension of the Damned is PvM only, even in the Wilderness. All players start with maxed stats and starter gear. Catching Zombeism from bites saps your health, but you can stave off the effects by taking antidotes and/or consuming modified shrimps prior to battle. These (and other useful items) can be obtained from Zkrik’s shop in Falador using bottle corks. You can also get them from supply drops, but you'll only have three minutes to find the crate. Falador is a safe space where the dead don’t rise. You’ll be escorted back there by white knights if you become inactive, and you’ll respawn there if you die. However, players with Zombeism can’t pass through the gates. Banks across Gielinor will be open for use. Space is limited though, and you’ll have to pay for it in bottle corks. You can read about the rules for the finale here. The chance to compete for a place in the Finale ends in ten days, so don’t delay. I'll have to see if I can check into that in-game if I get a chance, but perhaps the game is just pointing you into the wrong place by a badly place default location. Here is a list of locations where you can catch herring - try Draynor village, for example. Also, moved over to Help & Advice where this is better suited.

Yes to the best of my knowledge you can used your stored XP as a free player during double XP weekend. Jagex also claimed they would be fixing that so it would no longer be possible, but as of yet it doesn't appear to have happened.

Daily challenges Stopped working -when I go to Mistress Fara
Arceus replied to Conan23's topic in Help and Advice
Are you certain that you are doing daily challenges, and not the recommended ones? There is a long list of recommended ones but you'll only have a few dailies, and they will be replaced over time if you don't complete them. If there's no star by them in the list, they're not your current daily challenges. -

Runescape settings do Not save the World you belong to ,how to Fix ?
Arceus replied to Conan23's topic in Help and Advice
Moving to Help & Advice where this is better suited. As Ammako suggested, favorite worlds are probably the best option. I do understand what you mean though - it happens to me occasionally to that I'll lobby and it'll snap back to some default world. I am not sure what rhyme nor reason this follows or if there is any way to circumvent that aspect of it. -
Moved over to Help & Advice where this is better suited. The last I heard it was scheduled for October. We should get more information in a few days when they release the monthly Behind-The-Scenes article if so.

Profile-settings- posts = There are no posts to display
Arceus replied to Conan23's topic in Help and Advice
It seems to be showing up in both categories for me when I look. Sometimes it takes a few hours as the system has to re-index to incorporate new content into those menus, and that occurs only every so often, not instantly. -
I don't know if that's quite accurate. They've balanced some of the recent promotions in such a way where if you play a ton, you can at least achieve the rewards, or alternatively pay money to speed it up, and that seems to satisfy most people. And the rest of it people pretty much accept and it becomes just the default thing to complain about.

Hiya, welcome to the forums! Sorry for the late reply. That is quite interesting, it would have been nice to see the site you constructed but I imagine it's been deleted from whatever repository now. Unfortunately in regards to new contributors and content, we have some of the same questions as yourself. Recruitment efforts and such didn't prove particularly effective. There are some of us still trying to update things here and there as we get a chance, but between life and trying to play the game ourselves to keep up, only so much is possible. In regard to armour, we do have a page here https://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/melee_guide.htm but you're right, nothing is explained extensively for the lower level armors. I can add in the stats and so on (at least, as of now) but typically players clear those level so quickly that they don't linger too there. (For example, completing Waterfall quest skips you through several tiers!) There is a draft of River of Blood on our side but you're right, nothing released yet. Again I'll have a look through it when I have a chance, and see if I can help push that forward. Hope to see you around in the future!

Hey welcome back! Good to see another new person here. -
There's also a toy royal battleship from the occasional Treasure Hunter promotion but you may not want to wait that long.

Wiz Robes (g) and Green DHide (g) prices. Please explain.
Arceus replied to Eyrelex II's topic in Help and Advice
Yeah it's true Invention propped those sorts of items back up a bit recently, and then they retreated. But I'm pretty sure I remember wizard (g) robes (for example) being twice their current price years ago, and that was when the same amount of money was worth more thanks to the subsequent inflation. Also there was a new ring added to the game (with a "Luck rework") which technically boosts the drop rate of treasure trail items, though I'm unsure how substantative that increase is in the economic scheme of things.
