  1. Pretty much, although it can hold staked duels. Also, some clues require you to dig in the area, unless they redid/are planning on redoing them.
  2. Okay yeah, you'll need to click the icon of the fireball right next to the wizard hat one. Right now, it's showing you your list of abilities. By clicking there, you'll navigate to combat spells, and air strike should be the first one on there. So just click on the fireball icon (the one boxed in white in the image Saradomin_Mage posted) and I think you should be set.

It's all a misunderstanding - they thought you meant NSA and you're spying on them... I wouldn't be intimidated though. I'd want to talk and learn more, but maybe that is just me.
  4. If you are using Imgur or another popular image hosting service, it should work. You may need to append ".png" or similar to the end of the web address to get the filter to recognize it at an image...if you still can't get it to work, you can just put the link in as text and we can go check it out.
  5. Have you tried using this map to help you search? I always find it helpful if I can't find a scan myself. Tirannwn is just a huge pain... http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Map:Tirannwn_scan
  6. Are you sure you're on the right tab? It should be the one with an icon of a fireball-like thingy. The only other possibility I can think of is that you might be on a different spellbook. Could you post a picture of what your interface looks like if none of that helps?
  7. Mine has similar specs and it runes okay, so you should be fine. Is your Wi-Fi connection usually good for other purposes (i.e., watching a video) or is it often sketchy? You can also open the developer's console (press Alt+`) and type 'displayfps' then the same combination to turn it off again. That can help you to better determine whether you are having a latency or FPS issue. I don't believe you need Java for the (newer) NXT client - the old one is based off it though. Unless you made a special effort to acquire the legacy content, you probably have NXT. Another thing you could try is running it in compatibility mode if nothing else is working.
  8. Hi Dupin, welcome back to RS! Doing some of the newer quests is certainly a nice place to start. Some of them may be quite challenging without very good combat gear (i.e. Sliske's Endgame, which I haven't gotten around to myself). Wiki has decent guides and quick guides to help you get through them. If you'd like, you could message me/check out the clan chat I run. My name in-game is "Arceuus" so feel free; I can certainly try and answer any questions you have! It also may be a good idea to do some dailies such as vis wax, reselling runes/broad arrows, make sure to do (most of) your daily challenges and so forth. Caches are good if you want to train up Divination, and so on.

Yeah unreal does a pretty decent job of handling stuff overall (at least from the finished products I've seen posted and played for my part). Very realistic, good shading/effects, etc.

Looking pretty nice to me so far. The writing is clean, concise, and things are well-explained. I'll be looking forward to playing some of your games in the future whenever they're ready!
  12. Right now, you can't use it at all so it's effectively useless. Next year, when RuneScape has its anniversary, you'll be able to get it back again. I'd just discard it if you're in need of bank space.
  13. Hello again - just to let you know, they've been updated along with a couple other things. Sorry about that wait also - I had to check on something. I'm hoping to do a broader update to calculators along with some community feedback in the near future so watch this space.

Over in this country we had a fiasco because kids were freezing cold in the schools the other week.
  15. I'll have a look into those and see if I can do so. Some are also pending other updates to add in some of the newer training methods.
  16. It seemed to allow me to use a small lamp on an F2P world, and show it as a free-to-play item. Usually the larger sizes are members-only though.

Maybe they celebrate Christmas late there? *shrug*
  18. Have you tried out Invention, perhaps? You can build off Divination from there, using your energy along with disassembling other stuff to help upgrade your gear. The only thing I would caution you against is spending too much though, as it can get expensive quickly. What's your current gear setup, and what are you looking to do? You could train Slayer to get back into things, and make some more cash. You may also be able to kill some low level bosses, but which/how many of them will depend on which equipment you have, as well as things like your levels in Herblore/Prayer/Summoning/etc.
  19. Probably. I'd suggest smithing ~100 or so pieces and seeing if it moves.
  20. Gaining respect is indeed free-to-play, but you have to earn around 10k xp in there for 1% of respect I believe. Roughly how much armor did you smith?

    Still better than 60C though...
  22. Alright well feel free to message me if you get into pvm more later on. I'll look forward to seeing your progress toward OSRS quest cape in the meantime.
  23. Nice list of accomplishments and good job on maxing! Are you interested in (RS3) pvm at all? There's plenty of bosses to try and pets to hunt if you're into that sort of thing and want a break from skilling.

Patch Notes - Ribbon Rework Mod Hunter’s made a number of handy tweaks to the ribbon. What a legend. The window can now be resized and now adds space between iconsThe following windows can now be added to the ribbon: magic abilities, combat spells, teleport spells, skilling spells, attack abilities, strength abilities, defence abilities, constitution abilities and emotes. This is now easier for us to do, should we need to add more. The following features have been added to the ‘Ribbon Setup’ interface:You can now reset your ribbon to the default icons or clear it in one goIcons added to the bar are now removed from the selection areaSpacing has been improved for the ‘Ribbon Setup’ interface and the Options Menu. A section for window management has also been added to the latter.Of the two windows labelled ‘Magic Abilities’, the main has been renamed ‘Magic Book’ and been given an icon to match.Melee and attack abilities now have separate icons (melee uses crossed swords). The ‘worn equipment’ icon has been changed to distinguish it from the ‘hero’ icon. The drawer icon has been replaced with a settings cog to make room....Thanks Mod Hunter! To ensure that these changes have had the desired effect, they will now be tested for new players, half of whom will see the existing, unchanged setup while the other half are exposed to the above. You can read the full list of this week’s updates - including optimisations resulting from some fancy new dev tools - on the patch notes forum thread. MWAHAHAHA! Evil is the BEST! [spoiler=Patch Notes] Ribbon Rework A number of improvements have been made to the ribbon: The window can now be resized and now adds space between icons. The following windows can now be added to the ribbon:Magic abilities (abilities only)Combat SpellsTeleport SpellsSkilling SpellsAttack AbilitiesStrength AbilitiesDefence AbilitiesConstitution AbilitiesEmotesAdding future windows to the ribbon now requires significantly less work. The following features have been added to the ‘Ribbon Setup’ interface:You can now reset your ribbon to the default icons or clear it in one go.Icons added to the bar are now removed from the selection area.Spacing has been improved for the ‘Ribbon Setup’ interface and the Options Menu. A section for window management has also been added to the latter. The spacing on the options menu (escape key) has been improved. A section for managing windows has also been added.Of the two windows labelled ‘Magic Abilities’, the main has been renamed ‘Magic Book’ and been given an icon to match.Melee and attack abilities now have separate icons (melee uses crossed swords). The ‘worn equipment’ icon has been changed to distinguish it from the ‘hero’ icon. The drawer icon has been replaced with a settings cog to make room.Alongside these changes, we’re also running tests on the tutorial. Half of new players will get the existing tutorial unchanged, while the other half will start with only the settings button on the ribbon, with the inventory, skills and worn equipment windows opened as they’re first seen. These players will also have the default set of buttons activated after the tutorial, where we hope to see players having a less confusing experience and, as a result, fewer players dropping out. Optimisations We’ve been using some new tools to track which scripts are running in the client in certain situations. Using these, we've been able to identify unnecessary and/or expensive code, investigating what these scripts are doing and then optimising where we can. The benefits should affect everyone, but will be more noticeable on lower-end machines. Changes include: Bank Client-side spoofing tries to predict what will happen and helps make the bank seem more responsive. When spam clicking to withdraw multiple items, this could get out of sync and cause a well-known ‘tab flickering’ bug. Changes have been made to reduce the likelihood of this error occurring. The way the icons are built when the bank is loaded has changed. This means items should no longer 'pop in' when scrolling through. The efficiency of individual scripts has been generally improved.Measure have been put in place to stop the interface from repositioning everything when no changes have been made to the inventory.General improvementsIn historical cases, and especially on first login, window positioning may have occurred several times. This should now only happen once.By deleting permanent interface components and only building them when required, almost 1,000 components no longer use memory constantly.Several scripts run every client frame, for purposes such as controlling animations. These run in the background even when you’re doing nothing, and we’ve made several changes:Overall, we’ve reduced the run-time of these passive scripts by almost 95%.Global transparency was using these scripts, and accounted for a large portion of this. We’ve changed the way it’s implemented, but unfortunately it means we can no longer use the current setting, so all transparency will be set to the default of 50% on login.Several features such as loading screens now stop running these scripts when turned off.Bugs have been fixed which allowed some of these scripts to keep running after they were meant to be finished.Loading screensAfter detecting that the game is loading, there is now a half-second pause before triggering a loading screen, avoiding unnecessary loading screens such as when going through doors in barrows. The loading screen now has a disable button, saving new players from having to locate it in the settings menu.Skills, D&Ds and MinigamesUnstable essence has become (slightly!) more stable. For example, it will now show as Runecrafting in the Make-X interface rather than Cooking. It is no longer possible to summon pets inside the Dungeoneering grouping areas.Quests, Challenges and Achievements: Completing the One of a Kind quest now shows the correct task complete message.OtherPerfect dragon scales (for Vannaka's Slayer challenge) no longer try and drop on non-member worlds.A large number of optimisations have been made to the toplevel interface.Various optimisations have been made to the bank interface.Members can now remove the Extras icon on the ribbon interface.
