Today we're pleased to release our basic guide for the Invention skill. Although it is a bit overdue, we weren't able to invent a time machine, so we figured better late than never. Today's guide consists of the basics for the Invention skill - how to train and how to get started and not so much focus on all the technical aspects. Given the current resources of Crew, we decided that this would be best to release for now. We are, however, open to the future possibility of making one or more subpages delving into more detail for certain aspects of the Invention skill, akin to Dungeoneering. This is where you and the Tip.It community come in. If you enjoying gathering data and researching things, we welcome your help in gathering information to expand the information we have available. Some examples might be: -the best combinations of perks whether for a tool or full set of armour -ways and chance of success to obtain these perks from certain setups -the rate of draining from your charge back under various conditions -chances to get certain components from items -etc. Please be advised that publication of more subpages on Invention is contingent on us having suitably complete information on a topic. This will depend on the strength and volume of the response from the community. While we will certainly credit anyone who contributes to this effort at the appropriate time, we cannot guarantee that everything submitted will be published. Before investing an extensive amount of time or money in research, it would be prudent to send a pm to myself or one of the Crew to see where things stand in this regard. In the event that you are an Invention superfan and wish to help out further, we are also open to bringing someone on board to help specifically with Invention-related tasks. Duties would include things such as testing perks and setups as needed and updating item and combat setup information appropriately. If you are interested, please send me a private message so we can discuss your skills and interests BEFORE submitting a formal Crew application. Thanks as always ~Tip.It Crew

Just saying - Hello!

Hello! Welcome to the forums! I've been playing for years...what are you up to? Killing cows in Lumbridge, skilling, or something else? -
Not a giant computer guy, but a quick google brought me to here where it has this listed: So based on that your motherboard, which holds the RAM, has 4 slots for RAM. However, it can only physically use a max of 16GB of RAM at once. So buying anything more than another 8GB of RAM is a waste of money. So far as what type of RAM and whether your sticks should match I have no idea. Those limits are mostly hypothetical, based on what was available at the time of first production or the configurations the manufacturer specifically tested it on. To be on the safe side though, it's good to buy it from a store that accepts refunds within 30 days or whatever with no questions asked. For memory usually you plug it in and either it works or it won't start, so it's readily apparent if it's suitable. If you want to be really careful I think you can buy through Crucial and they guarantee it'll work or take it back. Also, if you can, get an anti-static wrist strap or make sure you're grounded doing it - you don't want to accidentally shock it and ruin it.

Yeah that's fine. You'll run into a trade limit at some point if your free account has never been a member before but other than that there won't be any restrictions.
-
It's not a good idea to be honest (and better safe than sorry!). You may well not have problems for a while but if something sets off Jagex's systems it'll be nigh impossible to get them to sort out any resulting issues with your account.
-
Yes, you can freely transfer wealth amongst your accounts without any objection to the rules of RuneScape. However, new accounts have a restriction on how much they can give out if they have not been a member before, so be careful. You may give them money then not be able to transfer it off without getting them a membership.
-
I'm moving this thread to Tech & Computers where it's better suited. I'm sure other people will be able to give more detailed advice but I'd imagine better chip would be significant for games like that.

The Magister | High-Level Slayer Boss Menaphos is the definitive 'Scaping destination this summer, and that's never been truer than today, with the introduction of The Magister – a high-level Slayer boss – and a great swathe of quality of life updates based on your feedback. The Magister How to Start Find a key to the crossing as a drop in the Sophanem Slayer Dungeon Find and activate the soul obelisk within to summon the Magister Requirements 115 Slayer (can be boosted) Access to Sophanem Slayer Dungeon (requires Icthlarin's Little Helper) RuneScape membership Deep within the festering heart of the Sophanem Slayer Dungeon lurks an evil unlike any you've faced before: a sinister necromancer known as the Magister. This is a solo-only encounter, so it's a true test of your combat knowledge and skill. Tool up with your very best gear and head into the murky depths to face him – if you dare. Rewards Perhaps the most noteable drops from the Magister are phylacteries. Smash these to release the hapless souls trapped within, and to obtain scraps of scripture. Combine 100 scraps of scripture to make a blessing of sand, sky or sea. When you've got all three, apply them to a Khopesh of the Kharidian (or its off-hand variant) to buff it up to a mighty tier 92 weapon. Next up are the Gloves of Passing, monstrous melee mitts with tier 85 stats. They also grant a special effect when worn: after using Havoc, the damage of your next attack against the same target is boosted by 7%. Finally, look out for lore drops, and – of course – a new boss pet. More Menaphos & Patch Notes Today, we've made enough tweaks to Menaphos to fill a pyramid to the pointy end – and most of it's from your feedback. We've added a whole new insect collection for you to complete. Access it via the Menaphos Collections Journal, which can be obtained from Assistant Librarian Subotai, if you don't already have it.A bumper selection of books has been added to the Menaphos Library. 'Jalkabir' is the pyramid's name for Pharaoh's sceptre/sceptre of the gods teleports. You can now earn the 'of Menaphos' title if you reach rank 10 in City Rep.An impling collector has been added on the west wide of the Pharaoh statue in Menaphos. This collector has the ability to toggle off the spawn of each type of impling and Guthixian butterflies around the city one you've unlocked the city reputation reward. As an additional reward for 'Phite Club, you can now travel from Sophanem to Menaphos via the bridge.Quest NPCs in Menaphos now have mini-map and world map icons.Azibo's Toy Stall is now open in the south-east corner of the Merchant district marketplace. He offers similar services to Diango. There's now a summoning obelisk in a house next to the marketplace. There's a new signature drink at the Golden Scarab .Fires can now be lit on the docks. The desert swamp to the north east of Sophanem has been graphically updated. The 'gold' version of the Slayer Master title (provided you have already unlocked Silver version) – now reads red, not silver. To unlock this, you must complete the Slayer Codex and beat Morvran's platinum Rush of Blood challenge.Ka the cat has been re-homed near the Soul Altar.See the patch notes for further details of today's updates. Ah right, looks like you made it into a brawler blood necklace from the picture. The leech effect will work for all styles but it will only provide a damage bonus to melee. Up to you if you want to make another and save it for ranged/magic then, but that would likely be a lower priority. Once you craft the necklace out of the blood necklace shard it's untradeable.
-
In addition to what has been mentioned above, you might want to consider investing in a blood fury at some point - very useful for Slayer and low level bosses, particularly if you use lower tier armor and need health restore more than prayer.
-
You'll need to get an equipment siphon (one for each piece of gear you want to siphon), either buying or making. Buying is probably easier for now since you're new to the skill. Then you just have the gear and siphon in your inventory, use the siphon on the gear, and click "OK" on the window that pops up to confirm. And then you get your XP.

Welcome to the forums! Legend has it the secret is to press this key combination if you are about to die, and it will revive you: Alt + F4...* *In rare cases it might close the game window instead. -
Unfortunately, it seems the answer is no. If you died outside of the wilderness, it would be reclaimable from Death, but otherwise, no dice I think. Sorry :(.

Speak to the shady lurker by the Menaphos front gates to get started collecting Menaphite coins, earned as you train combat or skills within Menaphos itself or the Sophanem Slayer Dungeon. You’ll get +20% Menaphite coins from training Mining, Thieving, Fishing or Woodcutting. Please note, however, that you won’t be able to earn currency from Daily Challenges, as these can’t be handed in within the city. You can actually take your toolbelt one off (one time only) - talk to Doc, I think.

You need to make items called augmentors, and attach them to your gear. Only certain higher level items qualify (for example, bandos armor does but rune armor does not). Then, as you fight things, you gain xp and levels on the gear, and you have a choice between siphoning it (for slower xp, with an equipment siphon) or disassembling it (which destroys it completely). If you would like, you can use Legacy combat which may make things a bit more familiar. You can also augment tools like a dragon/crystal pickaxe, hatchet, etc., and level them up by using them in most skilling activities. But aside from small benefits to those skills, it doesn't really do anything, so...whether you feel it's worthwhile is up to you I suppose.

The idea is give them, let's say $500, and they give you a credit limit of $1000. They will hold on to the $500 (generally indefinitely, until you close the account) as insurance so that, should you disappear off the face of the planet tomorrow, they can recoup that money along with whatever interest and transaction fees you have paid, and on average make a profit. Meanwhile, you spend on the card as you would any other credit card. If you don't pay it in full monthly, there will of course be interest. It's true on you they may lose money, but on the average they will make enough on interest from people with poor financial habits to turn a profit. I do not know about the case of your sibling, but if you have no credit history your options are generally fairly limited. You can go to your local bank and see if someone there will override their system and give you a card on faith due to being a customer and depositing checks for n years if you have a good employment history, or get a secured card. A few secured cards do offer the opportunity to convert into an unsecured one once your credit improves to a satisfactory level, so they would refund your deposit and your account would remain open. For example, see this Discover card. Otherwise, you would have to close the account to get your deposit back which will harm your credit. It's a really crazy system for credit, cards and loans, but there aren't that many options
