Same here, used to be such an active forum lol. Doubt it'll ever be as crowded as back in the day though. Hope nobody minds me asking but is there actually still an active RS forum? Not really, there's this, Zybez, etc. but most are roughly the same status or simply deserted.

When you have one of those days where Guardian doors are really uncooperative... -
Hello, I'm moving your thread over to Help & Advice where it's better suited. Jagex relaxed the rules regarding transferring wealth a while ago, so you are free to move it from one account to another. As long as there is no funny business, you'll be fine. But, as an example, if you were botting or scamming people on an account and then trading over money, they would sanction all of your accounts accordingly. So as long as you aren't doing anything illicit, you should most likely be fine. Hope this helps.

Just confirming if I'm right about the summoning skill
Arceus replied to Blaze The Movie Fan's topic in Help and Advice
Yeah I'm prretty sure you are right. I don't think there is any way to gather shards or any monsters that drop them. You have to spend money to train Summoning, generally speaking, in addition to gathering the charms. -

I've had plenty of 50k's off clues (though I think most or all were elites) and I'm never on effigy cap. -
You are absolutely correct; Jagex dropped the requirement to "sign up" at some point and began automatically enrolling members. I've updated the page to reflect the change and credited you, though a number of other things are still a bit out-of-date. In regards to the spelling, we generally aim to follow Jagex's spelling conventions (that is, the British spelling of words, rather than American).
-
Try to flag down @JagexSupport on Twitter and provide whatever details you do remember, like old password, your location at the time, etc. If you can get their attention someone may look it over a little more thoroughly than whatever the automated system is doing. You could also try [email protected], which isn't really for account help issues, but at least doesn't bounce to my most recent knowledge. It may require some persistence to get them to look into it. Wishing you the best of luck!

Update 27 March 2017 - New Luck Items & Luck Rework
Arceus replied to Arceus's topic in General Discussion
I mean you COULD buy shards or various shop items and probably have enough for the ring when it is eventually available. But your call! Are there any even in the game or is it just a teaser for a pending update at this point? -
I'd change the order, if you had a good relationship with the person and everything - personal stuff first, how are things going, then ask for the W-2 form. Or just get rid of it completely if not - you don't want them to start reading, throw it out, and miss the point. Make sure and put something like "2016 W-2 form for [your name]" in the subject line too, especially if since it may well be forwarded and you don't want it to get bogged down like a game of telephone.
-
It's a sunk cost at that point. Once you're already there, it doesn't make too much sense to just walk off because someone is two inches shorter. Also some people are remarkably gullible and/or shallow, you tell them what they want to hear and that's enough, otherwise they won't even talk to you. Oh well :-D.

Thanks for all the warm wishes everyone. Or it could be due to all manner of weird and absurd things a certain forum member does to them should they make a mistake. I guess we might never know. :-k

I'm moving your topic over to Help & Advice where it's better suited. :) In terms of RS3 you might want to start at the combat academy in Lumbridge, with a bank deposit box and near the furnace. You can learn about the new combat system there and it should help you get started on Slayer. Alternatively, if you don't want to deal with learning a whole new combat system, you could turn on Legacy combat in your settings instead. This allows you to play mimicing the old style combat on RS3 - no abilities and such. Unfortunately I'm not sure I can point you to a good beginner guide for it, but one thing to bear in mind is that a lot of things have become streamlined. Armor and weapon efficacy, for example, are almost completely determined by what level, or "tier" they are. For example, outside of PKing or some special situations, every dragon weapon is virtually the same, aside from styles to exploit specific weaknesses. In terms of skills, newer methods that give better experience have regularly entered the game. I am not sure about your stats or quest progression but one goal might be to work toward's Plague's End, which unlocks the city of Prifddinas where you will find a lot of higher level skilling and many players hanging out. There is a long list of skills and quests you need for it though, so it might keep you busy for a while! If there is anything more specific you wanted to know, do feel free to ask!

You can send him a private message to him on here and who knows, he might get it someday. You could also try adding him on RuneScape and see if he logs on. I wouldn't get my hopes up though, as others have said. Due to privacy and security reasons, there unfortunately isn't anything else (to my knowledge) that we can disclose - I'm sure you understand. You have my best wishes in your search to track him down though! :)

Jagex offered to make me a Pmod, but not replying..
Arceus replied to tydman0's topic in Help and Advice
Hello, I'm afraid to tell you that this was not actually a legitimate offer. It's a phishing scam whereby they direct you to a fake website and have you enter your login credentials. After that, they use your stolen info to get into your account and steal all your gold and stuff. I would strongly recommend as soon as possible that you clean out your system for any potential malware, and in the meantime use a different computer to file an account appeal and change your password once that is successful. If you have a bank PIN you should be able to recover it in time - if not, I'm afraid your stuff might already be gone. For the future, bear in mind that Jagex will NEVER private message you about becoming a Player Moderator, and only send a message through your secure message inbox associate with your account. This is a common tactic used by scammers. I've also removed the link in your original post for security reasons. If you have any questions feel free to send me a private message,- 1 reply

Lumbridge Crater: Reclaimed | Wardrobe Rework | Skill Outfits In-Game Mod Ramen's been healing the scars of war with the greenest of fingers. Feast your eyes on Lumbridge Crater: Reclaimed. There's a wholesale rework of the Wardrobe interface, and you can also collect five more skilling outfits in-game – including the elite Shark Outfit. Read on to find out more! Lumbridge Crater Reclaimed The crater to the west of the city – site of the momentous battle between the returning gods Zamorak and Saradomin – has been overgrown by lush plant life, and the nearby swamp has started to seep in, removing the Zamorakian plinth. Note that you can still find the Saradominist preacher in the area. The Cabbage Facepunch Bonanza entrance has been removed, and the minigame may now be accessed via the Gamers' Grotto in Falador. Finally, you'll notice that a number of familiar features have returned to Lumbridge itself, such as the well and the duck pond. It all looks magnificent, so take some time to explore the reclaimed crater this week. Wardrobe Rework The Wardrobe interface has been given a massive overhaul. With a vast array of features to help manage your collection of RuneScape cosmetics, you'll soon wonder how you did without it. Click the Wardrobe icon on the Ribbon to open the new interface. A short tutorial will play the first time you do so – highly recommended, as it's the best way to get a sense of what the new Wardrobe can do. New features are: Grid View and List View: Allows you to see a compact list of customisations, much like the old wardrobe, or a mini preview of each item.Source filter: Allows filtering of items based on their source - Treasure Hunter, Solomon's Store, Gameplay etc.Advanced Slot Filter: Allows detailed filtering of items by their type. Also, you can now view each preset slow separately.Keepsake Expansion: Now you can have an increased amount of keepsaked items, increased from 50 to 100! They're also no longer inventory items, and sit within the wardrobe.Increased Keepsake Functionality: The wardrobe now includes and entire keepsake management system!Bare hands and Bare feet: Additional options for those who don't want anything on their hands and feet!Change outfits on the fly: Open and browse the wardrobe without interrupting your in game activities.Worn Equipment Window Updated: Now matches the layout in the Wardrobe, including Player Inspect, for consistency.Currencies now displayed in Interface: No longer do you have to check different places for your currency levels!Light and Dark Outfits added to the wardrobe: If you own them, you'll find them under Desert Treasure (Damis Light) and Desert Treasure (Damis Dark) respectively!Skilling Outfits Available In-Game Following on from the outfits made available outside of Treasure Hunter last year, you'll find five more in today's update. First up is the Shark Outfit. From level 70 Fishing, you can collect shark fragments while training the skill. The rate of acquisition will increase at 99 and 120. You'll then – at 20 Invention – be able to learn a blueprint to obtain random pieces of the three regular shark outfits, which can eventually be combined into the elite Fury Shark Outfit, which brings an amazing range of fishing benefits. Then, there are four more basic skilling outfits, now available through the following pieces of content: Divination – Guthixian cachesCooking – Gnome restaurant/cooking mini-gameSummoning – From summoning supply crates awarded from FamiliarisationPrayer – Purchase for ecto tokens from the shady ghost at the Ectofuntus Enjoy! Hi there! I'm new to Tip.It!
Arceus replied to Lamchopi's topic in Introductions, Farewells, & Forum Account Help
Welcome to the forums! How are you finding EoC (or Legacy if you play on that)? I shall say hi sometime. -
BTS March Video here: Youtube HD Video - This video will cause high CPU usage, to view the video in a lower quality, please click . Edit: It looks like embedding won't function properly at this time, please click here to see the BTS video. The Month Ahead - March 2017 Mod Osborne's here to tell us what's in store for March. After a pretty darn enjoyable Games Jam over the Double XP Weekend, we've focused March's updates on the stuff that was dreamed up over that period. A common thread is that they're all updates to things you play and enjoy every day. Luck Rework No longer will the ring of wealth or luck potions be your only way to modify how lucky you are in the game. We are adding 3 new rings that can affect bosses, clue scrolls and some skilling activities, with the top-tier ring involving level 107 Invention and a new gem – alchemical onyx - to create. More bosses have been added to the list of things that luck can affect, so raids and battles against foes like Telos can be more lucrative than ever before. You'll also get increased chances to get those really desirable items when solving clue scrolls, and increased chances to get a whole bunch of other things across the game, including Seren Necklace symbols, Black Ibis and more! Arc Improvements The Arc is set for some improvements too, with extra features for Alaea crablets and the Arc Journal, alongside the all-important addition of new rewards, like the High Armour of Hanto, and its related weapons. We're also making some changes to your main game screen, splitting out buffs and debuffs so they can be more easily managed, and you can see exactly what's affecting your play as you take on the challenges of the world. We've taken your comments on board and added more buff and debuff icons, like Dreadnip timers, stun immunity and Excalibur cooldowns, and added more buff icons to appear on NPC health bars for even clearer feedback. Pet Interface Additions There's improvements to the pet interfaces too, adding some of your favourite inventory based pets so you no longer need to go back to your bank to access them. And... More Skilling Outfits Obtainable In-Game We're also making 5 more skilling outfits available outside of Treasure Hunter, a very useful range of gear that adds XP gains to a range of different skills. So, if you have a few pieces you haven't quite managed to find yet, you'll be able to by playing a range of different in-game activities. Look out Divination, Cooking, Summoning and Prayer outfit opportunities soon. The 5th skilling outfit is a special elite shark outfit, similar to the gemstone golem and rune ethereal outfits already in the game. You'll need to find its fragments using the fishing skill, and then piece them all together with an invention blueprint...eventually leading to the elite fury shark outfit – the ultimate in fishing attire. For those of you still waiting for the perfect name for your character, you might get lucky this month as we release another batch of old, forgotten player names back into the mix. Zamorakian Event In other news, the twin furies are sending their agents back to Gielinor to bring Zamorakian defectors to justice! Check out the event shop and ingame skilling opportunities for Zamorakian Marks, tradeable for some fierce cosmetic outfits! Lumbridge Crater: Reclaimed Finally, that nasty old crater to the west of Lumbridge has finally been reclaimed by the forces of nature, with lush plant life erasing the battle scars of the past. And the duck pond is back! Yay! Have Fun! Have fun with that lot. The Game jam really produced some great ideas, thanks so much for getting involved – we couldn't have done it without you. This means the rest of the development team can focus on the big updates coming up in the next few months. Shattered Worlds, Menaphos and the new Achievement system are looking great, and I can't wait to see them in game. Mod Osborne What is a Behind the Scenes article? Behind the Scenes is a sneak peek at the planned game updates that we hope to launch in the coming month. This, however, is only a plan - not a promise - that a particular update will be released in a particular way or at a particular time. To get you the highest quality updates as quickly as possible, we usually keep on tweaking and testing right up until the moment before release, so sometimes things change or take a bit longer than expected. We aren't afraid to change our plan if necessary, as we will never launch an update before it is ready. Looks like some solid updates, personally looking forward to see how this luck revamp will pan out, and adding the potential to earn more skilling outfits outside Treasure Hunter is a big plus, even if I likely won't use them too much.

Right-click Hickton, hit trade, and it should be there at the bottom of his stock. Are you seeing something different than this?

Cheating on an exam or copying a paper is not a criminal offense (at least on the surface) and also academic integrity is well within their purview. Assault (of varying kinds) clearly is a criminal offense and in my mind a completely different matter.
