TYVM for the help muggi =D you helped me get 3 pieces of ringmaster in 1 trip :) Disconnected at the last stage of range event but found ringmaster bottom in the collection thingy =D potting up and doing the best things really do work :thumbsup:

Just found out it's gonna be on at 5AM NZ time for me, so I might not make it :cry: although I did have a *relentless* drink so it's possible i'll be awake lol :) only time will tell :?

This is my list of hated tasks: Black demons - they're great for when you want 99 slayer, but when you have 99 like me, they're pointless. Warped terrorbirds - a pain to kill with using the charm on them every single time, nice drops but still a pain. Greater demons - easy to kill with gr8 crimson charm drops but it's ALWAYS crowded and some may say well just hop to another world, yeah, done that, believe me. DOESN'T WORK. You can range them in gutanoth though, might take longer to finish task though, i'm sick of them either way. Scarabites - the most hated creature in all of RS in my opinion. They're in multi, the rangers, melee'ers and mages OWN you, the drops are pretty pathetic and you have to travel a long way just to kill them. Not worth it at all. Kalphites - it's ALWAYS crowded there, whoever says it's not as crowded as you think must have gotten lucky every single time. I used to like these because soldiers were easy to 3 hit and it wasn't crowded until summoning came out -.- Skeletal wyverns - they have nice crimson charm drops but take forever to kill, usually on a 56 task it would take 2 - 3 trips and it just ain't my cup of tea. Gargoyles - a pain to kill with the rock hammer with its small sized clickable area coz it jumps like a bunny :roll: decent drops but nothing to jump for joy about. Steel dragons - I like these but the only problem I have is with the amount, only what, 4 of them in the dungeon? Also you get tag teamed by irons a lot unless you're killing the west most one :evil: Hellhounds - no drops apart from clues which I don't do anymore coz all I get is junk. I don't know why people block mith drag tasks either. All you need is the usual gear, with black d hide body and chaps and a dfire shield or antidragonfire shield. Usually you get 3 - 6 or whatever. You can do that in one trip and it hardly takes any time at all! I'd never reject this task. Plus you get a chance of a DFH and visage.

If slayer counted, it would be my first choice because it made me not only afford 99 prayer, but many other things as well as giving me tons of awesome drops along the way to 99. Before I ever trained slayer my best drop was obby cape, and if I was really lucky, rune meds from werewolves in canafis - sad huh? My luck changed when I got 85 slayer however, the whips eventually rolled in and today, total, i've had 73 whips from abbies. Not to mention d chain, visage, and many other dragon drops on my slayer journey which was quite fun! Maybe not tens of thousands of gargoyles and lame tasks... but it was worth it i'd say \ But yea if slayer wasn't counted, it would have to be agility for me. As much as I hate running around in circles... I love the brimhaven agility course, because you don't know where your next ticket will come from - whereas with ape atoll it gets tedious running round in circles and it bores me to death. I once even made myself a goal of 1K agility tickets in 2 days. I managed it but I hardly got any sleep LOL ah... good times :)

I think ever since item lending came out godswords have taken a massive hit because less people need to actually own one when they can just lend one. That, and the combination of the corporal beast that can drop holy elixer which is roughly 15M give or take 1M, and 4 sigils that are worth over 55M each. GWD'ers would be going there more often now that the GWD items have been distributed a lot over the last year and not to mention coinshared, making them drop, drop, and errr... drop :|

Anyone notice the lady on the RS main page with a d plate? Sorry if it's old news, I was in OZ for a few weeks and couldn't find a topic about it so..

I always pick up blue and crimsons, I never pick up gold anymore because it takes way longer and the exp is pretty pathetic. I pick up greens if I have the room also... I find greens better than crimsons in terms of cost, as with greens you can make the pouches for next to nothing if you do your homework right *stares at pages on which pouches made the least loss* ahhh.. funny how we still use maths in RS... :wall:

Well my name doesn't mean anything but I would like to think it means 3 warriors in 1 (like prince of persia with the 2 warriors 1 soul concept) but yea, i've always been fascinated in the white lion and thought it should represent melee, the black jaguar which should represent magic, and the falcon which should represent range =D in fact i've been so inspired by these 3 animals i'm planning on making a series of books, gonna call the book: TOTEM ;) it's a work in progress but i'm hoping for them to be bigger than harry potter \ Oops forgot to mention the 3-warrior idea came from the first part of my name; "tri" which means three =D

Yes, unfortunately the general RS population only read about them being ultra powerfull, and decided to sell all of their stuff. I also clearly remember the items also only being powerful for a short amount of time. :wall: Ya remember when they were talking about FOG robes LOL! :lol: they made it sound like they were the next barrows equipment, they said FOG would give special *set effect* robes. Dunno bout you guys but it isn't much of an effect with only giving you some runes every now and then when you're doing a spell, if they weren't degradable then maybe they'd be useful but they are so they're lame :

Oh they're not like bunyips in that way - they take 20/60 of the special move points and restore 15% of your total hitpoints so for me it's 15HP per heal. Handy at places where every bit of hp helps like waterfiends or even abby demons \

I've been wanting 137 combat for a long time now =D I figured a couple days ago I might aswell go for it now. I only made about 80k loss for the entire 800 or so green charms for hydra pouches \ wish I could say the same for the 900 crimsons :evil: set me back about 1.5M.. oh well i'm sure the pony will live up to its expectations at abbies :lol: So anyways here's the l33t piccy :mrgreen: One combat level to go ;)

Some people said that guthans was dropping coz of ponies and bunyips but if that was the case they would have dropped a long time ago #-o I think it's because of the pvp update with the *set effects* hype. But you know what it's like. They said the same thing about FOG robes and look how crap they are. Special *set effect* robes? Yeah... they sure are SPECIAL :roll: The new pvp items could either be REALLY GOOD or REALLY BAD. I'm not counting my chickens just yet but i'm holding onto my AGS until it's further to the time. If AGS rises back up to 90M+ I might sell and invest in all the good stuff to make me some millions muhahahaa :twisted: But ya.. I was in W2 the other day and people were willing to sell dfs for 9M! It's insane.. :o

golds - 500 ea (take forever to make into pouches because of how little the exp is and is fairly common so it wouldn't be worth much more) greens - 2k ea (almost same shard requirements as pouches with crimson charm requirement, but costs a lot more so this is why I think it should be half the cost of crimsons) crimsons - 4k ea (mostly used all-round) blues - 8k ea (very fast exp) =P~

I don't usually, but now that you mention it, I killed a few more steel dragons after my task without noticing and I got my first (and probably last) visage drop \ and also I was on a spirit mage task, my pray points had run out and i had no more p pots but I had a couple food, I killed 1 more and bam! D boots. OMG I forgot lol my d chain drop was also lucky. I had a task of 188, I killed 101 and ran out of food so I switched to range to kill a few more for luck before teleporting. 2 kills later I got d chain \ I think from now on I might do that lol ty for reminding me :mrgreen:

138 is leet, but for me personally, I'd be happy with 137 coz it looks kewl =D 136 just doesn't do it for me. Plus at 137 i'll be able to one clicky giant rock crabs \ now to get 1.5m for 2nds and a few more mill in shards to get that one summon level that'll bring me to 137 combat.... #-o

I think more items will suddenly become like animal masks and have an INVISIBLE value in the millions or even in the tens of millions - this happened to 3rd age, dfh, animal masks and some gilded armour. I think it will become too much though, and people won't be able to keep up with it and jagex will have to change the way the trading system works yet again. I wanted to have full 3a melee by the time I got 99 slayer, i've had 99 slayer for more than 5 months now and i'll never be able to get a piece because of the invisible price tag people put on them these days.. I mean 3a melee plate 300M? Are you kidding me? We're not bill gates.. and 300M, if that, should be for the WHOLE set. It's gone too far.. #-o

Well, I held onto 73 zamorakian spears for about a week, hoping they would rise and sure enough they did ^_^ they'll probably go to AT LEAST 1.2M each soon but since i'm going to Australia for a holiday in about a weeks time it is pointless to hold onto them any longer, and for a whole year i've been wanting to try out the Armadyl Godsword, but with people asking 1M just for a few hours of it being lent, and with them being 144M before that, I just couldn't afford it. But today I could I couldn't wait any longer and sold all 73 spears at max price (so expect them to rise A LOT tomorrow LOL) pic below \ I forgot to take a pic of me doing the deal with 'Soccastar' as I was so excited getting not only a hot looking penguin mask, but my dream godsword too :mrgreen: but here's a pic of me spec'ing the purple portal at PC this morning \ Not gonna sell AGS now until it reaches 144M or something insane :lol: All in all, an AWESOME day for me =P~

What's all this about fixing ladders and such? Where do you have to fix them and is it a once-off or do you have to keep fixing them if you go away for too long?
