I never said the post should never have been made, I don't know where you got that from? I meant that it was in the news update, and as you say you probably missed it. Sorry for the misinterpretation ;)

Oh dear #-o On a darker note, there's already enough topics about items rising in price, do these threads really have to exist? If a mod is here, can I respectfully request a grand exchange sticky for all rises/drops? Or at least a petition that we can sign, as i'm sure i'm not the only one that feels we need a sticky to do with items and their prices, in particular the G.E

I only used cannon on slay tasks from 65 - 85. I had the worst luck ever. I was about level 106 at the time, my best drops were usually rune and the only drop that topped that off was an obby cape drop so when I heard people were getting abby whips with ease, I invested all my time and money into getting that 85 slayer. Once I got it, I never used cannon on slay tasks ever since as it was a waste of money really - unless you can afford it and are going for 50M+ slay exp

Hunter, Runecraft, Smithing, Agility, Farming Yeah those are the ones I can think of right now. I don't train hunter and runecraft as much coz they're just, well, boring. Smithing and agility are great skills but I can't train agility right now coz i'm disconnecting at least 20+ times a day and no i'm not exaggerating (wish I was) And with smithing I can't afford to train it as I have a massive investment in one particular item so... I only really have about 1M left, and farming is annoying, with all that teleporting and stuff... I think i'll just stick to abby demons for now \

The only reason animal masks are so high is because people just decided to make them another one of those items with an invisible price tag in the tens of millions ;) When animal masks became lendable, people were willing to sell for pure cash and even sell for junk. Once people started to realise that merchanters were buying them all up though (a couple hours later) people stopped selling em and held onto em. If merchers didn't buy them all back up at that time and didn't keep the demand up for them, they woulda dropped like top hats did. From 5M down to 700k in time. I'm really over all these items with their invisible price tags, I hope jagex ruin junk trading eventually and their true prices will be revealed :roll: So as the future is concerned, watch out for new items that'll become the victim of this on going garbage :x That's my 2 cents \

Jagex announced on one of those "in other news" things that they reduced the 5% margin for party hats so it wasn't like it was not announced. I think it's a bit weird to be honest. People don't really want partyhats anymore (atleast at that price now that you can lend them and all..) so it would stand to reason that they should keep dropping large amounts until they get bought frequently enough to become stable. I think this will only take partyhats longer to stablize #-o

I tried investing in them a while ago but once it's too late, it's too late. And right now, basically everyone and their dog is buying them, so i've given up. I'm just gonna stick to d b axe + restore pot atleast for the super str boost, idk about the super atk and def boost :?

They say the proof is in the pudding, well, I see no proof and I certainly do not see any pudding! Very disappointed.. :shame:

IDK if you wanna add this but the fastest way to granite mine is using the pharaoh's sceptre and using the 3rd teleport. You then just need to open the door from the pyramid, run down and to the left, and you're there. In fact you can make it back in time to pick up anything you dropped. I use that method all the time now, with the camulet method, I find it frustrating going up the ladder, running down to another ladder, opening one of the doors and going through the corridor as such and then climbing 2 piles of rubble and then finally going to the quarry. Also make sure to wear a games necklace (1 - 8) and a duel ring (1 - 8) just incase you forget to equip a duel ring.

I just hope with all these new players that jagex won't start catering for them 90% of the year. I think the best year of RS was the one where they brought out the dragonfire shield, dragon full helm, GWD, dragon boots and probably many other things I can't think of right now that kept many players busy with massive money making opportunities. I hope they don't revert back to nub quests and half baked minigames that you do once for the rewards and never play again :? but BTS October looks like they won't \ only time will tell I guess =P~

Aww beat me to making a post like this =( but one thing I don't get... Isn't armadyl meant to be all holy n stuff? He's all about judgment and all that, yet that evil skeletal guy seems to be the one with it? Is it me or is there something wrong with that picture? :lol: either way I want that staff :twss:

I think what did it for me was the fact that guides and forums are so easy to follow, not to mention when something doesn't go to plan, tipit never gives up (example - when that mysterious nub destroyed the old forums) Wo0t go tipit \

Was killing armoured zombies today and since a pray altar was right above the ladder I had piety on all the time XD I hit a 49 and thought it was worth pic'ing \ From 1 trip there I got this: 8 ranarrs, 1 kwuarm, 18 cosmics, 6 deaths, 99 planks, 50 oak planks, 14 teak planks, 36 chaos, 1 green charm (even though I got about 4 altogether but couldn't pick them up at the time), 5 crimson charms, 8 blue charms, 30 bloods, 184 pure ess and a champion scroll :D Oh yeah and about 70k attack exp \

That quest that jagex talked a little while back claiming it would be bigger than RFD itself I think will be a quest where it ties up many storylines, allowing them to get onto more major quests \ Atleast I hope so :ohnoes:

As long as RS don't make guns and stuff i'm fine with the way it is. I like the fact runescape is unique. I mean, I wouldn't want our characters to have glowing eyes and have warlocks and all that evil garbage (you don't need glowing eyes to look powerful, i'm sorry!) Take Castle Wars for example. RS could make a skill-based Castle Wars, where you could never underestimate level 3 skillers and such. With agility, you could climb the enemies tower and grab their flag with ease. For farming, you could plant vine seeds, watch them grow, and, whenever the enemy stands on them, they get entangled for, say, 30 seconds :lol: just as an example. RS shouldn't be EXACTLY like WOW, but they can improve on things they've already made (yes I know, some people are about to harp on about that cliche phrase *why fix something that isn't broken* yeah, well sometimes things that aren't broken still need to be polished and upgraded) I guess what i'm trying to say is RS shouldn't be like WOW, but they sure could improve on things they've made. I for one would like a white lion as a summoning pet ;)

Yesterday there was a thread on the RSOF which suggested a higher trade limit for more quest points. There were quite a few signatures and I couldn't agree more with them. In fact, I logged into the forums just to support it! Then today when I saw the update I couldn't believe it. Edit: Ok so it wasn't EXACTLY the same thing but I found the thread I supported. It suggested removing the trade limit if you have 200+ quest points, but instead they've increased the trade limit to 60k which is good enough. Quick find code: 83-84-18-56886849
