1. On top of what country devil said, also work on achievement diaries.
2. Great and easy to understand guide! It wasn't boring even though I'm familiar with everything you covered. It was short and to the point. As with all guides, they belong in the Guides section, so I've moved it there. :)
3. It's hardly obsolete as soon as it's released. Take a look here. Will you be able to play games coming out in 18 months on max settings? No, probably not. Unless something revolutionary happens, you'll be able to play any game that comes out in the next 3 years with ease. While it is true that you basically have to upgrade your computer a few times a year to stay on the cutting edge, those specs will not be commonplace for the next few years. We're only now seeing 1GB of RAM for video cards becoming stock on the lower end computers. I really would look into an SSD if you are going to be spending that kind of money. The prices have come down quite a bit, and they make the world of difference.
4. Welcome to Tip.It! If you want to introduce yourself, you can do so here Moved to Guides. ---------------------- For gems, you can only buy enough every 4 hours to last ~75 minutes. For Godswords, I suppose if the buying and selling prices are good, this would be a great idea to do a few times a day. Obviously won't work doing it all the time. I really hope you know that you can decant potions in noted form... Granite is something you can do pretty much non stop. All in all, pretty good for your first time.
5. 1) Obsolete? 12 years :P Obsolescent? 5+ years 2) 8 years 3-4 years Take what I say with a pinch of salt.
6. Yes, don't use safe mode, thinking that since it's the worst GFX, it will be fastest. Only use it if nothing else works whatsoever. I know for me that running higher settings makes the game run faster. I can barely play in software, but it works fine in DirectX.
7. Instead of posting multiple times in a row, please edit your posts instead. :) Have you tried not using the client?
8. In my opinion, we actually should feel safer if we see a civilian openly bearing arms. Chances are they won't be up to no good if they aren't trying to hide it. (yes, I used 3 negatives in that last sentence.) Luckily for me, Louisiana allows open carry. Inb4 backwards, swamp people jokes. :P
9. Howdy & welcome to Tip.It! What do you enjoy doing in Runescape? Whenever I get off of work, I'll have to mosey on over to your channel.
10. The second picture is great!
11. Keeping with all the pretty color ranks that have posted, I concur. Boots/gloves look wrong to me.
12. Well frankly, you could've worded your OP differently if you didn't want people to think that. Is there a reason to mention his name and that others you have looked at can't live up to his high standards? No, it doesn't really have anything to do with your question, and so red flags are thrown up. With that being said, I have no clue whatsoever.

14. Got the star wars collection for $50.
15. Acer generally sacrifices the quality of the chassis and screen for better guts.
16. And which law abiding citizen feels the need to bring a weapon to a movie? I bet if you polled everyone in the auditorium, you'd find that the most dangerous thing in there was a pocket knife. That is true. I imagine the few people with concealed weapon permits carry their weapon with them to the movies. Might this change that? As long as you aren't going within 1,000 ft of a school/government building/whatever else is prohibitted, ideally said people would always be carrying a gun.
17. Well played! =D> I'm surprised I haven't seen that meme before. Don't personally have experience with Alienware, but you're basically paying for the name. Not worth it. First one finally has a good screen resolution (!), albeit with a smaller screen. Slighty better GPU and CPU. Seems a bit pricey. Second seems reasonably priced, and can handle basically whatever game you want to throw at it and then some. Can also handle some pretty heavy video and photo editting as well as run CAD very smoothly--don't kno what kind of work you do, but I personally need a laptop than can handle AutoCAD, so I'm tossing that out there. Don't bother with the 3rd.. pay the extra 200 and upgrade it to #2. 4th has almost identical specs with #3, but smaller screen. Personally wouldn't go with the last due to the small screen size and lack of optical drive.

Today...

I'll answer a few questions, but if you want to see some of these implemented, by all means head on over to FU&S! For the "back to board" button, you should make a post about that. Personally, I think it should be bolded and/or boxed with a size increase. You don't need to use the tags for most Youtube links as it automatically embeds the videos for you. Never used the anchor shortcut, sorry.
19. Chances are he wasn't doing this because he had some innate hatred for Batman. As terrible as it sounds, if his intention was to inflict maximum damage, one can see why he choose that particular place and time. What a horrible event.
20. @Grim, yes I did the same thing with my laptop. Was a lot cheaper to upgrade to 8GB after. Saved a good $75. Yes, that is the link to which I'm referring. I've been reading some more reviews online, and it seems that most complaints are about the screen quality and the keyboard.. but both those points are moot if you are hooking up to an external monitor and using a mouse and keyboard. This is a review for a lesser end model, but I think it still holds true somewhat. I would still buy it, after reading through all 83 comments, which tell more than the review, IMO. I would definitely invest another ~$400 or so for an SSD, external monitor, and keyboard. What do you mean by 'download RAM'?
21. Not sure what kind of gaming you plan on doing, but do not get 4GB of RAM. It's so cheap nowadays, that there really is no reason not to go with 8. Also, that second setup seems awesome for the price. If you are looking to save some money, you could downgrade the GPU to 1GB and the CPU to an i5. Edit: Hot damn, that Aspire V3 is $880 on Newegg. Holy [bleep] I'm sorely tempted to scoop up that bad boy.
22. Moved to Questionnaires. :) I've hit the 6 hour auto-log a few times. Though generally, I usually log out for a few mins for 3hr+ gaming sessions.
23. I'm actually looking at buying an AR. I sure feel a hell of a lot safer having that in addition to my revolver. Most nutjobs like this could still easily get their hands on those particular weapons so the last thing we need is more regulation. Frankly, they're just plain fun. Will I ever need to protect myself with it? No, very slim chance.
24. [11:37:19 AM] Enaid Anwen | Q: Could Picasa be added to the whitelist of image hosts? [11:38:12 AM] Paul: wait, let me post it in the thread.. it's free post count [11:38:16 AM] Enaid Anwen | Q: OK TLDR: http://picasa.google.com/
25. Yes. Read this if you need more opinions. Only the first half of the thread, haha.
