  1. You can still fail but you don't need a talisman to do it and so no talismans are lost.
  2. Ok, there attack is magic based melee. That means that it's a magic attack, only mage defense helps. The only special thing about the attack is that it isn't ranged, melee defence will not help. So in the defensive suit you'd want to have like a mage fremmenik helm or a mystic hat. You'd also want mage, or mystic, boots and maybe even a saradomin book if you're still getting hit and would like to trade its defence for the defender bonuses. There's also a good place to melee... I think it was in the southeast corner? There's 2 cave horrors really close. There are also some white bats near there that won't really interfere by being aggressive at you, but they will serve you if you want to use Guthan because they won't hurt very much, like the cave horrors do, and they make switching between the cave horror suit and the guthan possible. Here's a hint: When you get a black mask (10) sell it, then buy a Black Mask (no charges) much cheaper. I really quickly made 300k like that when I got mine. No matter how many times you tell people that the charges are basically worthless they still pay more for the fresh mask. Also, right by the entrance there's a double range spot, so you may want to add a Ranging section. There's a small thing hallway between two cave walls just south of the entrance. At the north end of the hall you can range the cave horror from behind the stalagmite. At the other end of the hall you can range that one to the east from the hall, he just gets really stuck without and effort. Also, on your map you mispelled "arrive".
  3. Towards the top it says "Mystic Rope" rather than Robes. *Still reading*
  4. Yah, good method :) If you don't want to use as many law runes then you can teleport to the grass, but use a dueling ring to get back to the bank.
  5. Well you can't just proclaim "I will be calm now!!!" and make it work  I'd suggest watching some videos of killing him to get more comfortable with being able to know which attack he's gonna do and be able to switch prayers more comfortably and successfully. BTW, I'm also a two time failure, so yah, it's alright.

Fly fishing in Shilo Village. You can bank the fish (much faster than dropping, maybe faster than selling to the store) and then cook them to have trash food for eating to full health at the bank and such.
  7. Combat training, right?
  8. Well a new crossbow that uses a magic stock has been promised... and since the wood a step above yew should use a metal a step above rune I'll go and vote for the assumption that it will be a dragon crossbow.
  9. There is no possible punishment other than a ban that Jagex can give you. If you still feel guilty even about not being caught I would suggest that maybe you drop the adamant plate that it is plaguing your conscience and then continue on? You could also send in a query confessing and asking if they still want to do anything to your account.
  10. 1 & 2: High Alch Calculator 3: Maybe fire bolting some monsters?
  11. Nope, you have to come out of the form but you can do i right by the trees.
  12. For the best defence and at the same time the cheapest set just get full torags. Then rune boots, barrows gloves, and ideally a fury amulet and berserker ring, but a glory and ring of wealth would also work, just not quite as good. For a cape you would want a fire cape or an obsidian cape.
  13. Not for free, but for a discounted rate that is based on your smithing level. If you have 99 smithing the repairs are about half price. If you have 50 smithing they're about 25% off. Levels in between work like that too.
  14. Also I belive you can telegrab it and not be attacked?
  15. You have to do some jobs for him, read about it here in the guide.

Yah, that's how it worked and works, here's the info: Holiday and Rare Items Guide
  17. Well he's exactly north of the river that is east of Edgeville. Do remember that you must do that mini-quest for him before you can use the abyss.
  18. It a "Fixed Device". It's from the Mourning's End Part 1 quest. It shoots colored, bloated frogs.
  19. Construction is going to be a good option to go up the fastest. Get cash, oak logs/planks, and a demon butler to build oak larders.
  20. But in this case the calculator might be a bit off and you might not actually be able to hit that damage until maybe like 2 strength levels later.
  21. Yah, and in the cage there's a normal tortoise and a battle tortoise (the battle with the 3 gnomes on top).
  22. No, I said the mini-game, the Gnome Delivery Sevice, gives lots of gems (including the three from gem rocks) and lots of half keys... though mainly loops :(
  23. and this is a hunch? No, it's just an observation. Jagex releases a crossbow update needing many gems and another use for dragonstones. Next week they release an update that gives tons of gems (including the 3 gem rock gems) and tons of half keys. It's quite obvious that the huge amount of incoming half keys was to make dragonstone bolts a new, accessible possibility.
  24. Yes, you recover energy much faster with it.
