Here is the best advice for the beginning of your plan: You want a chapel, either 1 or 2 teleport rooms, and maybe a quest hall right by your entrance. This way those features (the chapels exp multiplyer, you want it right by the entrace so you run right to it after banking for more bones; the teleports for when you use a house teleport tablet for dangerous situations or for when you're not on normal magicks; the quest hall because it has an option to put an infinite glory in it) can be easily and quickly accessed after entering your house.
