  1. Yeah they didn't say all skills. Basically new elite skills will be 1 to 120 You will need around level 80 in 2+ specific skills to unlock an elite skill - which is a combination of them in new ways. Then you get to train the elite skill from 1-120. For now the only elite skill in dev is invention. Worth noting with the fact they go to 120 is they would be balanced around that - its not gonna be like fishing or cooking xp rates itll be more like dg rates.
  2. It's confirmed T90 tank is coming from Raids Ruen Dragons =/= Raids
  3. I think Jagex are unintentionally fuelling the high levels matter more and killing off of lower levels kinda thing. I think their 'filter' guys are focussing on streamlining the early game to get you to the end game faster instead of focussing on making the early game worthwhile to play. I find where jagex is trying to release updates that work better within the metagame now they are making the fatal flaw of always making them top end new best, when you can perfectly well make low end meta game updates they just need to be the best at their level range. Though it is undeniable as the game stands right now the high levels do matter more because if they lose us the whole game would tank, but relying solely on us is not the way forward as they need to get fresh blood flowing - we may have stuck around for years but inevitably our numbers dwindle and more and more of us move on as our lives change and we are no longer kids with nothing better to do than RS all day.
  4. No way anymore though you can get multiples of the Illuminated God Books by just repeatedly copying them.
  5. Only thing on the belt tht makes me said is bone crusher is on or off setting. Was kinda hoping for a nice herbicide esque picking which bones setup.
  6. That would be a hard link to make since the kin dont have a plan to destroy the world particularly..just the rage caused by the use of the stone of jas It has been quite awhile since I have read up on the dragonkin's plans, but the whole "destruction starts in Edgeville" post-RoM wasn't a part of their plan to tear the world apart? I know this is off topic of Tuska, so something related: I can't believe I am going to have to take part in this event for over 10 days just to build up the points for rewards. Honestly, I don't have that kind of time to consistently devote to RS. I think that was a small group of dragonkin. The ones that have gone crazy from their binding to the stone Also it was never really a plan or any such thing reveal to it. The Kin lore is that the stone being used causes a rage to build up inside them which makes them want to destroy false users. Many try deny this rage and work to free themselves from the stone, some succeed others fail. Others still gladly give in to the rage. Since we first found the Stone we have been shown snippets of the 3 main rage kin hinting at their growing power until they finally emerged in the known world wrecking shop on Mos Le Harmless. Lucien then started using the stone at the ritual and they made a beeline there - attacking edgeville enroute. Though not fully explained why they did this it both naturally falls on the flight path between Mos and Ritual and does have ties to the false users with Lucien's "house" there and everything. As for the ending we are shown what is supposedly a vision of the future, shown to us by the kin, of Draynor burning - but we are never told it is part of some master plan just that it will be the future.Given that the rage-fuelled kin want to destroy just because its hardly a reliable source to say for certain it will pass. Especially when you fact in the appearance of various already dead people who clearly could not actually be there in the future. Plus even if it WAS the future at the time we were shown it there is no guarantee it'd come to pass - after all at that exact moment Guthix was still fast asleep and the edicts stood strong keeping gods out. Long story short - Edgeville destruction wasn't given any real reason and between the natural flight path, the rage and Lucien's house it's destruction doesn't really suggest any larger plan than destroying false users. The Draynor vision was constructed by a rage fuelled kin and can be taken as a general threat against us - another false user they want to kill - since it had a lot to do with characters that we got killed that we should feel bad over and the kin coming to a location we were at opposed to an announcement of a master plan to destroy the world. Essentially in the framework and info given its not impossible that the rage kin are planning to ruin the world, but the few events we do have all fit logically with rage kin being rage kin and aiming to take down false users without any greater plan and never expressly state a purpose beyond killing false users.

  8. In the forum QA they said no it does not.
  9. I doubt we're gonna be able to stop her from hitting the planet. It might just be where she hits and if she's still alive to do more damage that matter. They seem to imply in Q&As that at least parts of the event will still exist after. So maybe its the difference between landing off the coast and landing somewhere populated. They've mentioned 4 different outcomes to me what would make sense for that is 3 tiers of win and 1 outright lose. Outright lose would be full impact major ruin. Tier 1 - marginal win - would be impact that causes a lot of damage but avoids most major areas. Tier 2 - decent win - would be like minor impact/skim the planet, some damage but Tuska corpse ends up in space still Tier 3 - pwned win - Full avoidance, tuska ends up in space and doesn't hit. Just my guesses, all still allow for the islands d&d type things to carry on afterwards cause all you need is for the island rocks orbitting her to survive - be it lodged on gielinor somewhere or still orbitting her space bound corpse.
  10. To my knowledge it doesn't. They said from the off with legacy mode they wouldn't design content around it and you wouldn't really be able to do top-end boss content. The idea behind legacy isn't so much allowing players to permanently use legacy and only legacy - its to allow casual players to use a simplified form of combat for casual content and to give more serious players a familiar base line to learn from as they move into revolution and possible full manual in order to play top end content,
  11. Since the idea is to weaken Tuska to lower her anima mundi shield so Vorago/Gods are able to reach her to attack I'd of thought momentum is a non issue, Specific god/Vorago arrives, smacks Tuska in the face killing her. The meeting force of the attack and Tuska would halt her or would at least alter her course - something we could then further purposefully alter when shes just a corpse to make her fly into a nice moon-like orbit or w/e. It's not like we are just gonna stab her in teh face until she dies then leave it be - the stabbing is just phase 1 to allow the gods to get there to stop her hitting the planet.
  12. Tbh I don't really blame Jagex to much for Tuska being beaten so easy today. First two days despite good efforts it was kinda an unreachable goal so they rightly tweaked to make it a bit easier. The trouble is now its like two days post-launch people are getting into the swing of it - more people turning up, more people piling in right at reset etc. so the tweaks to make it not impossible now become too much and need to go back the other way a bit. Trying to predict player turn out can't be easy considering how random it must be and at least they are trying to tweak to keep it a close fight, it just happens that initial launch didn't see as many as they thought making tuska defeat overly hard and as soon as they fix it you get a surge of late arrivers to the content making it overly easy.
  13. I think the annoyance comes because people are using the Godless as a catch-all. The Godless aren't being used as a faction enough and are being treated as an "if you arent in the other factions go here". I've heard a bunch of people say things like "I'm Zarosian so I'm going Godless here" or Seren, etc. The Godless aren't being treated like a faction with its own goals, they're being treated as the "none of the above option. Jagex probably should have allowed players to choose an "I don't care about politics, I'm just here to kill the pig" option. Then we could fairly see who actually wanted to work for each faction. If Godless still won that then great, but right now they're mainly being ignored as a faction and used as a catch-all and that is annoying. True, but then not everyone is treating them as a catch all. People who are Zarosian but have a view of the godless might pick to go Arma because its the least 'offensive' to them etc. Plus I don't see why everyone is getting all butt hurt about it - it happened in the other events too. Everyone went Sara just because they disliked Zam or vice versa. People went Bandos cause they disliked Armadyl and vice versa. People went Brassica because they disliked Marimbo and vice versa. My point still applies that people seem to be claiming Godless is acting as a catch all and are only winning just because they aren't linked to a god. But thats not true, if it was true Godless would've owned Marimbo and Brassica in the spring event. Equally I don't see anything wrong with people supporting other deities making a choice on who to follow. Zarosian ideology based on the most recent quests is all about defending the planet - the exact same thing Vorago and the Godless present here. So why wouldn't Zarosians realistically pick godless as the closet to their beiliefs? Same goes for Guthixians and even Seren followers really - ideologies of peace and protection the planet given the 4 choices most closely link to Godless or perhaps Armadyl. And surprise surprise Armadyl is holding a solid 2nd place. To me its just childish whining to moan about Godless winning because people have just as valid reasons for picking them as any other faction present. Plus it is not new or unique to this world event that followersof non-represented gods have to pick a side they least object with to support - even if that support is derived purely from 'i dont want any god other than my own beating tuska and gaining power'
  14. I give Blutters an A* in talking to the npcs. Literally one of the first questions you can ask is why are the gods themselves not here and the answer is Tuska's Anima Mundi protects her much like Guthix's Edicts did for Gielinor and once she is weakened enough the gods will be able to come finish her off.
  15. Muspah are fairly easy to kill. Shard of Zaros stops them being aggro. Ancient magic wrips them a new one.
  16. I don't see the issue with the Godless winning just because you don't like them or they aren't a specific deity. People have a choice of the 4 sides and must pick one. People are picking godless cause they like rago or dislike the other gods involved. if you took Godless out and put Zaros in his place and then Zaros was winning would you still whine that sara/arma/zam aren't getting support? Is picking the godless side some how less valid than picking a god? I mean sure you can say everyone who doesn't follow arma, zam and sara will go godless But you can also say everyone who doesn't follow arma zam or godless will go sara Everyone who doesn't follow arma sara or godless will go zam Everyone who doesn't follow godless zamr or sara will go arma. Its the exact same thing whatever way you cast it. It's not like the Godless are winning just because they are there - Godless where an option for face punch bonanza and they didn't exactly win there did they? - Godless are winning because more people are picking them as their preferred option.
  17. ^ Better wording would be the progress cap rises by 25% per island, rather than you can't get more than 25% since, quite clearly, you can on islands 2-4. Ie Island 1 you can only reach 25% progress Island 2 you can reach 50% Island 3 75% Island 4 100% Tuska head time limit is not true, I stood there messing around with emotes for a good 5 minutes before stabbing.
  18. Teamviewer seems unlikely - remote accessing your computer won't alter what your computer is sending to jagex and the inevitably messy unco-ordinated input via touch screen wouldn't really look like a bot at work. Unfortunately they are much stricter now on macro bans and its very rare to see a ban get lifted - but you can try reaching out to the support twitter etc to see if you can get anywhere. To be brutally honest, I always hold doubts when I see these posts because 99/100 times I see someone make these claims further probing in to the discussion/topic etc it transpires they did actually use a macro - even if only for a few moments. Also it strikes me as curious if you logged in on the 30th March to discover this why it's over 60 days before you seem to be asking for any help?
  19. All I can say is dear god I hope Blaze never actually gets ridiculed. If this is his reaction to the very much non-ridculing factual responses he gets here I fear he may implode or something if he received genuine ridicule. :D Sad to see someone go, but alas not much we can do if you take offence to people correcting statements of fact like 'Dragon baxe is better than whip' because they are factually wrong. There is a fine learn between stating something as n opinion (I prefer d baxe to whip or I think d baxe looks better than whip) and stating it as a fact that is incorrect (dbaxe is better than whip) and when you do the later people are going to correct you. It's not malicious or trying to force an opinion on you, its pure and simple fact correction and is something that happens to all of us. Help & Advice and Gen Discussion is littered with posts where myself and other "big name" users state facts that are total BS and get corrected on it There's also a myriad of posts where we state and debate our opinions and often get quite heated about it, but we never go away holding grudges or descend into ridiculing other people (aside from maybe a post or two on a bad day that we later regret).
  20. Make group, talk to astromancer
  21. It is the product of averages. Work out kills per hour. Work out average drop value based on drop rates and values. Average drop value * kills per hour = gp per hour. They are never uber accurate, aside from things like Frost drags where its based on a 100% drop, just a ballpark figure and usually dependant on having BIS gear.
  22. Capping seems to be rather loose as its based on xp gained whilst skilling and exactly what skilling you do affects frag rate. The good news though for most is you can completely ignore frags and still get all the we3 rewards (23.5k for all) quite comfortably. It's only really if you want we1 and 2 stuff (including the we1 titles) that you need to do frags. Probably need to do a fair few raids to get all 4 titles though since 1/4 is at 6 stabs!
  23. The only thing I'd say it its debatable whether Light Creature or Nightmare Muspah is more use when doing div. Occasional instant covert memory vs 3% more chance of enriched memory and 32 more gathers between deposits.
  24. I wouldn't really say its the way to go as such It's just a by product of people having glacor boots from pre-eoc and having no desire to chance them out. As well as being a product of people chasing the highest level gear they can Glacor boots being lvl 85 def and non-degrading vs lvl 80 nex boots which degrade.
  25. Sure your not going to make everyone happy with pvp elements to whole world get everyone invovled stuff, who do you aim to make happy? Unless you purposefully exclude higher levels from maxed people with the best gear are the only ones you can make happy, which is far from the majority, because unless they are locked out no-one else stands a chance. Of course a toggle can help matters, but then you end up with the issues we had in WE2 - You make it sucky for skillers and low levels by making turning pvp nerf your progress rates meanwhile you make the people who do enjoy pvp turn into harassing douches having a go at anyone who turns pvp off and people playing annoying tactics to avoid dying like the area line hugging of we2. To me really to make pvp work in something like this it needs to be no better or worse than doing things without pvp and it ought to be entirely separated off from the non-pvp stuff to help minimise harassment and trolling elements. Also I'd point out I didn't say it doesn't fit in with the scheme of events - I said it doesn't in with the progress of events yet in my opinion. There is a difference. I'm not saying there isn't a place for it I just do not think in terms of the story and the lore we have reached the point at which it makes sense.
