  1. Pretty much what seems to be the best tactic from what I hear. Though obviously spending on the ring will mean longer without rewards.
  2. KB updated now: "Amulet of zealots - 40k tokens Available to all players. Requires a Prayer level of 48 and a Dungeoneering level of 48. The amulet of zealots reduces your Prayer bonus, but adds small bonuses to each of your attack stats. While the amulet is worn, the effects of your prayers and curses are increased by 5%. The amulet of zealots will not work on multiple stat-boosting " sounds decent also: "Spirit cape - 45k tokens Members only. Requires a Defence level of 50, a Summoning level of 50 and a Dungeoneering level of 50. While worn, the special attack cost for combat summoning familiars is reduced by 20% (this does not include the special moves that are activated by using scrolls). The cape also gives a small boost to your base defensive stats: " wtf? so only combat familars and ONLY special mvoes that do not use scrolls.
  3. And no other stats? Lol what would you use THAT for? Wtf... all of these rewards are crap -.- It's like they forgot how to make good rewards since chaotics. Culd be useful. Afterall ammy is one of the weakest spots for bonuses so culd be effective to scarificve normal ammy to +13 prayer along with normal decent armour for prayer heavy fighting.
  4. Jagex always adds all sorts of things that aren't really worthwhile once you work it out. On the ring: Tank isn't useful because people worked out with thw low amount of binds 2h weapon + better armour is more powerful than 1h wep + weaker armour and shield Tactician isn't that useful because very few of the best weapons have "accurate" style and if they do its not the right style of stab, slash, crush for the monster 90% of the time so the boost because redundant. Berserker is useful because the strength boost makes it pwn all if you use aggressive style. It varies from class to class. In rnaged the sniper ring isnt too useful but the other 2 are depending on how you fight. Mage all 3 have their uses though i gather "blazer" (increased damage) is largely unpopular In skiller medic is useless cause people dont heal each other. But the other 2 have uses. For thoose who can afford it it is actually quite useful to: Fight with berserker. Then swap to gathered to do your puzzles and gathering. Then swap to artisian when you make stuff.
  5. The only worthwhile pone is berserker. If your a strength person or not it is by far the most useful. Once you get it to about 4 or 5 2h sword owns as the str bonus overrides the need for stab and crush etc.
  6. To add to the points made: 1. Soloing is no where near as bad as made out by many teams. Teaming is only better IF you get a good team. Plus for many solo is more enjoyable. 2. As covered before killing all npcs gets you up to 15% (might be 10% i forget) level mod. Not killing them gets you lower level mod. Level mod is one of the factor that boosts you xp multiplier so yes killing gets you more xp. (though note that the hunter dinso don't count for this) 3. Combat is of course msot vital, but all skills have a use. It is worth remembering however you will never encounter things you (or your team) do not have the level for. (other than bonus doors). So even if your fishing sucks you'll only get fish you can use. If your cooking is good but fishing sucks potatoes can be useful. Yes you need to make/buy armour in EVERY dungeon otherwise you won't have any. 4. Monsters are tailored to your level so dungeoneering can be enjoyed at any level; however better levels do indeed help speed it up and make it easier. 5. As covered melee is the best option followed by range. When you start out and have only 1 bind (plus ammo bind) you should bind 125 arrows and a weapon. Despite what the other guy said it is not always best you bind a 2h. 2h are good IF you are using aggressive and IF you have a well leveled berserker ring. However for early playing you are FAR better to have a spear bound as it has slash, crush and stab and in DG the different effects of stab crush and slash are highly noticable and can make all the difference. But yes bind the highest tier one you should have and no in DG shield aren't that amazing, far better to put efforts into higher armour than having equally low armour and shield.
  7. Aside from: Master wand costs 3.5m (still looking at atleast 3mil if you get it via mta in rune costs) Opposed to ahrims 75k And SOL costs 3.5m. Granted SOL takes a few more levels to reach but these days Master wand is soooooo not worth blowing the cash on unless you're the kind of person who doesn't have levels for SOL but has like 20mil sitting around.
  8. Clue scrolls, quests, achievement diaries.
  9. I think that would be somewhat lame, as I am not a fan of the Nomad revival thing =\ Bilrach isn't like the rest of the DG bosses, he's actually an important character. When he dies, I want him to stay dead. Also contradiction of your own argument much. If that is how fighting Bilrach in dungeoneeering went down how could it NOT be a requirement for the mahjahratt ritual quest? I mean its gonna make a bit of a different to the quest if Bilrach shows up half dead opposed to super duper powered up isn't it?
  10. Yup each time you want a master wand via MTA you have to go through all 4. But tbf masterwand is a waste. It only has +5 more maigc than Ahrim's with the same 10% boost and only +3 more than SOL, but since sol has the epic 15% boost it pwns it hands down.
  11. You are probably reading the question wrong. He says the "weights in crate 2 are actually" Most people mistakenly answer 3. This is wrong. You found 3 to be the lightest, so the weights in crate 3 are actually 2. But he does not ask this, he asks what the weight THAT ARE CURRENTLY IN crate 2 are. In the ordering 2 is the middle weight so out of 2,3,4,5,6 the middle weight is 4. Meaning the weights in crate 2 are actually 4.
  12. It's always the way. Cook x came out jsut after i got 99 cooking (while working on 99 fish) Monkfish (and skill capes) came out just after I got 99 fishing via sharks [and shortly after this fly fishing was made epic in shilo] Fletch x came out jsut after I got 99 feltching And just after 99 wc the D axe arrived.
  13. lol what? BTS says quest tying desert stories and lore together. Desert lore does not mean mahjaratt. Also LOL at contradicting yourself. Desert treasure is a quest all about Azzandra the mahjaratt, so why note it seperate from "mahjaratt quest line" The rest sounds good. I fear ppl may be over hyping the neckalce though, it clearly says when BURYING bones. Bonecrusher crushers bones in exchange fro pray xp it does not bury them
  14. It does have magic prayer on, so that's what I assumed. The prayer you see is the prayer of a player behind it, not of the boss itself. Few pages back, but I'd like to direct your attention to the left side where there's a red bar. Of course it could be a familiar but familiars getting hit multiple times is rather uncommon. I'd also like to direct your attention to the foot and shadow of a player that you can clearly see behind the boss. ;) My thoughts are that the boss spawns some sort of creature. You can see the players in that picture aiming at something in the direction of the red bar, so they may have just killed whatever it had spawned. Look on the wall behind the boss, theres a eye sockety, monstery type thing that seems dead. Perhaps there is several of these that have mini monsters in that you need to kill off to focus on the main guy. Plus the one behind the monster is slightly set forward on a bricked wall, the red bar at left is over a bit of wall tht slightly sticks out and has a brick shaping at the top.
  15. Ah I stand corrected the latter 3 (Gunnar's Ground, Swept Away and The Blood Pact) are indeed from free quests. But the first is definitely members only.
  16. Actually he said Orb of Invisibility just seems weird. Not the name, just the idea in general. Also why post a suggestions if people give polite critical feedback and all you do is say no thats irrelevant, why bring that up on this thread etc.?
  17. All those songs are definitely members, there was a bug a while back where free accounts randomly unlocked members songs.
  18. Why does it seem unlikely jagex would implement items effecting individual drop types in a simialr style to two items already in-game; yet more likely they will release a random orb to make several different types of drop vanish?
  19. Yeah you have to talk to Osman first. Nearly everybody misses this step out. You (as a character) have NO idea about the sorcerer or her garden. You talk to Osman and he tells you about it and ask you to get squ'irk juice for him. After this your character will have chat options to persuade the apprentice into teleporting you.
  20. Tbf charms and runes are universally good when you think it through. The number of higher level players I see hitting up ge before a mage session cause they have no basic runes compared to people who use tht 1 piddly little invent space (that you can spare on most slayer tasks) and end up with 10,000+ of all the runes you use enmass Equally each charm colour has atl east 1 familiar that is highly useful. Aside from that I don;t think "orb of invisibility" would be a good idea its a bit too different from the others. Though I could see something along the lines of: Some sort of magnet or purse related to the bank that automatically sends coin piles to the bank; probably have to have a limit though like nothing over 5,000 Some sort of talisman that releases the energy from runes (so they don;t appear) in exchange from a bit of mage n rc xp. Some sort of spirit stick/wand/staff that destroys charms for a small bit of summon xp. Though with the number of that sort of item building up it'd be good to see some sort of item that carrys them all, sort of like a "drop effector pouch"
  21. Aside from the fact nature and evolution/creation has determined you to be an omnivore. Carnivore, herbivore, omnivore is not a classification based on what you decide to eat its a classification based on what your body is designed to eat.
  22. And this is why it is disliked. The expectation of youths to get free candy for ringing ur doorbell and the real threat of them wrecking ur garden/house with teepeeing etc if u don't. Pluys the fact delinquent youths use the costumes to hide their identity and cause damage and general trouble.
  23. If you got corrupt file etc errors when TRYING TO INSTALL it is quite apparent that it did NOT INSTALL so why would there be an OS there to repair? You need to install it first, and if that is throwing up corrupt file errors then it means: Harddrive is corrupted (unlikely cause it prob wuldnt even pick harddrive up in tht case) CD/DVD drive isn't functioning properly (Some fancy ones plain wont work without drivers, and though BIOS can access drivers it can't get at drivers you've never installed due to lack of os; though more likely fault is the reading part of it is broke in some way. But if it isn't an old drive its fairly unlikely its busted) Most likely your install disc is screwed, its either smeared or scratched or just a dud disc.
