I doubt it was this thread tht crashed it. Last time all day long it had hundreds viewing the thread. Even right as the clues come out I ain't seen more than 2 lines of "reading this topic" users

Don't be too disheartened its called "Cryptic Cluefest" for a reason. Its not as tricky as last year but its only really easy for the puzzlers among us who have a knack for puzzles and already have a broad knowledge of ciphers, logic etc etc etc etc. Least you're trying, most of the people in my community/ex-clans method is "Wait for Paw to finish solving all the days and posting the solutions then go "solve" it myself" (Which usually turns into pming me trying to scrounge the items they hope I kept)

Not really clever at all. Bind 1 = weapon so you can get supplies easier Bind 2 = armour so you can survive better and get better armour faster. If you do it one of the best ways you have a spear as your weapon for all attack methods, spear can be poisoned. And poison aint tht useful anyway

Is this cluefest intentionally easier than the previous one, as last time a lot of people could not solve beyond the 2nd day themselves? Why has QA/checking seemingly been a bit weak on this cluefest? Notably the algebra sums had extra x's in them that mislead people and were later removed, F2P can't reach the museum top floor and had to be given a "cheat sheet" and on original posting 2 of the cipher codes were incorrect, all quickly corrected of course; but all seem like glaringly obvious errors to of been missed?

I was too fast as usual. 2nd cipher had 2 digits wrong so for second one you ended up with: They fixed it quickly though

I don't think it will hit tokens. The tokens will be based on the calcuations you see on tht dungeon end screen. The bonus won;t be applied to tht,it pure and simple goes "you recieved 5xp, you have 1.5 multipler. So we give you 7.5xp" Dungeoneering it goes: You finished dungeon; you got 50xp for it, so we give you 5 tokens THEN it'll go you got 50xp, you have 2.0 multipler. so we give you 100xp So unless they tweak around chances r bonus will be applied AFTER dungeoneering does its work, meaning xp wont boost til after tokesn r worked out

That's if it's a linear decrease with minimal gaps, which it wasn't the last time round(even i know that, even though i wasn't around for the weekend). Last time around the gaps were 0.2x and had an exponential decrease(2,7 to 2,5 in 15 mins, 1,3 to 1,1 in many hours), i don't, however, know the exact formula, and even if i did, there is nothing to say that the rounding will be correct or the formula the same this time round. Last time it did that because of the rounding error. It was rounding half way through the calculation which meant larger numbers got rounded down and vanished faster while lower numbers stayed for longer. Hence I said IF they do the rounding right.

If they do the rounding right this time. 2.7 - 1.1 is 1.6 difference. This should happen over a course of 10 hours meaning 0.16 percent lost per hour 2.7 take 1.5 is 1.2 so it should take 7.5 hours

Theres hardly much to picking a tv theses days. 1) Pick a Tv brand you trust. 2) Pick LCD or Plasma, Plasma is epically costly but gives better picture quality etc. 3) Check that it's full HD and has all the inputs you need (hdmi, scart etc) 4) Check out the other features and pick the tv with the ones u like best.

White Knight armour is equal to black knight armour; it was only added cause so many ppl moaned bout the inequality of having blk but not white. It depends on the hardware really and what temperatures you are measuring. I was talking about case temperatures, as thts wat my fan controller recalls and idle temperatures not active ones. Once you hit about 40 it does start effecting performance, it depends on how heavily you are using the system, how old it is and what its temperature limits are to how much it will effect it, or if its even noticeable outside a performance test. Running a game at 120 FPS is certainly system heavy so if my cool running system is idling high 30s, a standard system running a high end game in this kind of heat is quite likely to easily be hitting temperature high enough to hit performance. If its not cool running it prob idles mid 40s, so running resource heavy games i wouldn't be surprised if its pushing its way up to the 70s

Ram works best in pairs so a single chip may be causing issues. BUT given tht ur in France and thus probably having simialr weather to UK atm I'm gonna guess tht a more likely cause atm is plain heat. Past few days my fan controller has cranked all 5 of my system fans up to 100% for the first time ever and the system is still running in the high 30s Centigrade, so I'm willing to bet any system not designed with cool running in mind (aka msot systems) is gonna be easily idling in the 40s or 50s range which is bound to cause some lag.

You can crush ores? Never come across that one and I never bother with good pickaxes, usually use novite

As with last time ALL pre-existing bonus xp items get disabled. This means brawlers, gold smith gauntlets, ecto, gilded altar, penanace horn, SC armour. If it boosts xp normally, it will be disabled for the weekend (you can still use it but it'll have no effect)

If they are they cannot read. The dig site building. The digsite only has 1 building and the entire digsite isn't even inside varrock. But probably should be updated to say Exam Centre, I do believe that it was never labelled on the map til a couple of years ago, so it had no official name when that was probably originally written.

Yea, i had the same problem =/ But now they changed the equations (everyone knows that jagex is pretty bad at maths).... For the record, the original equations posted were Two of Treasure 1: X + (6x6) = 48 Five of Treasure 2: YX + (65/5) = 60 Eight of Treasure 3: 3ZX + 51 = 150 Makes more sense they dropped the extra x, how it was originally posted I like msot assumed you need to work out x, y, z for the nubmers. But y and z came out as non-whole numbers. In reality you needed x, yx and zx. Drop the extra x's kills confusion. Now when you hit what was yx or zx you've hit plain y or z

Really? I've gone for about 1.5mil xp bouncing around all sorts of skills in areas you can get randoms without getting one.
