i've got a doozy. In probably a week or 2, marks the anniversery of my rise. Shortly after i joined tip it, i was walking around fally, talking to a friend i had recently persuaded to play. THis guy had come up and was boasting about how he had recently found 10 yellow party hats on the GROUND! I wasn't really in tune with the rare market, i hadn't even seen or heard of a phat, but he said they were worth a whopping 8M...I could barely fathom that number of gp...i was just barely making it to 14k. So he shows me 9 in a trade, and 8.3M gp, he sold one. He proceeds to put one on and attacks a gaurd. The gaurd is winning, and he is about lvl 33 and ranging this gaurd. His hp is already lowered by something else and he then either lags out or just is stupid and dies. I RUSH WITH ALL MY HEART OVER THERE. I click frantically, competeing with about 4 others. I click, click, click, click...7 yellows and the 8.3m... :shock: I'm pming my friend completely hyper, trying to figure out how much money 8300k is...so we figure it's 8.3M and that's 64.3M total. I'm about lvl 50 here and have just made 64.3M in a few seconds..more than most people have ever done. Now, me being the generous person i am :wink: , give one yellow to my recently new friend, whom i knew irl, and one who went to my school irl. Now lets venture into the future. Alright, so my first friend has quit, with a yellow collecting dust in his bank and my other friend had sold his for about 1.3M full rune and green d hide. I punched him the next time i saw him. He was quite the noob #-o , so...i had sold one for some stuff that helped me get started..probably got ripped but it helped (runes, armor, weapons etc..) Alright so that's 4 left. I get myself some full zammy for about 5.4M (quite high in it's day) , and a santa for 160 on christmas day. I merchant, get a mask set, sell it for junk later on....merchant a little although i'm terrible at it, sell another phat for 17M, and another earlier on for a couple mil and a purple phat, which were close in price atm. So here we are, one purple, one yellow and about 10m + 2 santas. At this time, my other rl friends are playing and complaining about me not sharing and having those dumb phats collecting dust. I agree, and this is a good decision, i decide that my friends are worth more than some paper pixels, and sell the yellow-36M and the purple-22M or something, then persuade to have my old friend give me his phat back in exchange for one of my santas, because he just wanted something cool. I divied the money 3 ways, and a little to my other friend because he was being obsessed and he didn't care, so we each got 21M about. Well, moral of the story, i should've let the phats collect dust and just use the other cash. But i really wonder how i would've turned out had it not been for that...i could have easily quit, never become p2p and just given up after a few more months. I've never reeeeally made money the hard way starting out, kinda wish i had tho. Anyway, bout 7 months ill try to get my friend with the santa to give it back for something else cool :P

to answer that, they did. But it was really not well recieved. Anyway, i agree, noobs aren't percieved as what the first pic was, just as an annoying "phr33 st00f pl0x" asker.

It has been that way since it started playing, which was early 2004 so they aren't going to change it now. Also it is worth noting that if you were p2p, TzHaar bank is right near there already lol if u were p2p u'd be using catherby anyway. ANyway, they don't do this to not make fishing to easy for f2p, it's a way of luring people who enjoy fishing to go to be members. Anyway, this would be a breeding ground for autoers and kill the fishing industry.

i dont even think the leeches,walkers and guardians are related to the normal one even though they reside in the sub abbyss try the abyss fairy code, all the monsters are there i believe.

um, glory necklace teles u to draynor, which is simply a hop skip and a jump away from zanaris 8-)

because it not always isn't...skill pures are cool because they value the skills of the game, and focus only on raising those which are hard to do sometimes without combat.

i'd have to put firemaking before prayer cdub, and theiving is all dependent on your lvl, cooking and firemaking can be easily faster than it, and i'd say firemaking is by far the easiest skill.

aaand same. 0/10. That's something that annoys me, people with less than like 60 posts post here expecting for people to know them, and they rate someone else and don't know tme because they've probably never been around...no offence of course :o

well if you ahve no money or any supplies, then there's nothing else to do, u gotta work for some cash and such. Coal, iron and other ways are out there...so just have a goal. U can pm me in game if u want :)

i disagree, there's no money in jagex if that's the case, maybe a free month after like 6 months...or something, but extending a friend's membership? no...they have to do that on their own.

people have to be encouraged to make their own money and not have it made for them. It's not fair if u can make cash while not playing. let's think about this. u have 10m=10000K. You are away for a year, and a year is 56 weeks. 56/2 is 23, so let's do this...if u don't play for a year with 10m..u make 5m. Wow, that's really not fair, and its 50M if u have 100M...Clever idea, however jagex does not support ways of making money without doing any work.

yeah..i just participated in the 5k "turkey Trot"...had to wake up early but now i won't feel guilty about eating \ anyway, happy thanksgiving to all, and kinda funny incident there :)

u can use aglity pots, but it's defiently not worth it. You have to use it so many times, it'd take a ton of pots. Just get the lvl and u need 56 for regicide later on, so just get it...you'll have to eventually.

doesn't time run out? well i think u just have to open the doors...not that hard...
