Ignore healers when fighting jad. I first started doing melee fire capes a few weeks ago and they are extremely easy and very fast. Never once have I distracted the healers during the jad fight, it is quite unnecessary.

Ok thanks. How much can I expect to make at tds with my current stats, extremes, uni, rapier and maybe ccb+99 range?

I find that my defence level is actually a lot less of a problem than most people think it would be as long as I'm soul split flashing fairly often. Lower bosses bore me too much to actually do them for money and most of them are like 1m per hour if you're lucky. Also, I will be getting extremes soon. Thanks for the replies but I'm still looking for more information on whether tds are viable or not and if not then what could I try instead. I don't care if I have to learn difficult tactics to fight bosses as long as they give better drops. I will also have 88 summoning soon as I'm barraging rock lobsters to 99 magic.

Hi, Just wondering what a few decent money making bosses would be, with my stats. Ranged is 50k away from 94 so if it involves ranging a boss that could be a factor, I can work on 99 if neccesary. I am also going to be doing herblore on bxpw although I only have enough cash to buy supplies for 85 but I'll be happy with extremes for now. I was thinking of making sup str, is that the best I can do with a budget of ~25m to lose? My chaotics atm are rapier, staff, and maul. 100k tokens saved aswell. I've been working on wgs lately, but with my stats and low claw prices I'm worried tds may not be as good as some other alternatives. I have 46m cash currently and another ~60m in items, mostly related to pking (another thing I enjoy). I will not be raising my defence level past 75 for some time. Don't know what else to include here, any questions for me just ask. What boss should I hunt for money is basically what I am asking. Thanks, TC3

Get a fury and zerker ring aswell as a dragon defender. Also might wanna buy a bcp and verac's plateskirt until you can afford tassets, if you can't already. You should also try to get a fire cape.

Is barrows melee really neccesary if I am only tanking him for a few hits before moving into the safespot? I was thinking I'd try to get some mage bonus but not that much since you hit almost every time anyway.

What would be a decent set up for me to solo Rex, with mage of course. Also, what would be the best spell to use, Fire surge with chaotic staff or Slayer dart with staff of light? I will be trying to make money there but I also don't want really slow kills. Thanks.

But tip.it item entry says it does increase clue rates so i'm a bit confused, I thought Jagex actually said that ROW doesn't imporve clue scroll drop rates? Maybe they changed this. I can still say with confidence that row doesn't improve effigy drops though if you wanted to try you could always switch zerker ring out for a row at the end of a kill.

Wannabe mods... Boy they are annoying. Had some kid at fist of guthix repeatedly saying "hello?" "heelllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooo?" and I would answer each time but he kept going. I ended up adding the kid and pming him that his public must be off and lo and behold it was........ Derp. But really, why would a guy with multiple dungeoneering weapons and all this "legit" looking gear be botting F.O.G? I was just re charging battle robes, not like that even takes long lol. I really don't understand how someone can be so stupid.

Most people do it because they think the rcers are bots and they can repeatedly kill the bots which annoys bot owners... That's why I would it anyway, if I were to do it.

Only people who ever get smited are pures since they are constantly taking large amounts of damage and have to be eating all the time plus remember to drink ppots. I would say don't get it, its not worth it. If you are looking to raise prayer anyway I would recommend getting 74 prayer and rigour as rigour is awesome for range tanks.

Personally I like to use a rapier and elite void at barrows while using turmoil and ss to heal. I can do most chests in under 6-7 minutes iirc. Range, you should probably slay as it is by far the best way to train all combat.

Not too much happened since free trade. Bots are everywhere, most resources have crashed because of them. If you go to TzHaar you can see one of the worst, if not THE worst, places that has been taken over by bots. Theres like 10 bots per 1 monster... That's all I can think of.

Mole is actually not as bad as people think though it is very annoying. You might want to try doing WGS and killing TDs, that's what I am planning to do and I have similar stats to you.

Scroll of life would be better but I think it's quite a few more tokens. You shouldn't have to go far beyond 50 to get one and gem bag is pretty useless. You should give dungeoneering a chance because at higher levels it becomes quite fun, I used to hate dungeeoneering at low levels aswell so I can relate to that feeling that it's taking forever.

Next time I get a waterfiends task I'll try doing it with a rapier. I've actually been noticing that rapier beats maul out on lots of crush weak monsters, and quite significantly, its unfortunate becuase maul is kinda fun to use lol.

Slayer

Don't try range tanking as your combat level is already very melee based, you would be ~9 levels higher than a normal maxed tank would be. With your stats you could always try getting 99 strength and a chaotic maul, that works with just about any other combination of attack and defence levels. Turmoil is also very important, try and get it asap.

Definetly go with Pernix and kite the 360s, that should give you the best chance of surviving the caves, mind you it will still be very difficult.

Dont hunt chins. You can't avoid the massive amounts of bots there, you're better off training hunter elsewhere then using the time you saved to make the money you lost out on by not hunting chins...
