  1. Yeah, with Lightweight on, camera angles were all messed up (even worse when people don't have very good connections). But honestly, I'd prefer semi-broken camera angles than slow paced games. I played through The Swapper last night and spent the day today finishing my play through of Fez. I had to look up a lot for the latter, but I had fun with it.
  2. Today I bought Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition ($5.40) and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons ($3.24).
  3. Purchased BattleBlock Theater, which is a steal right now. And then I decided to buy Borderlands 2.
  4. I'm so used to BOII that any other COD feels slow paced. Takes forever to get your gun up in BOI, you run pretty slow, etc. Haven't played it in ages. Shouldn't have prestiged way back before I stopped playing, because now I don't have my sexy classes any more (there's no way I want to go through trying to get Tac Mask Pro again).

Poison the guy with the top grade  That seems a bit drastic. I was just going to change their calculator to gradians. If he doesn't notice that his trig values are off, then he doesn't deserve $1000. :p
  6. I saw that. I bought it for $15 last Christmas. The Legendary Edition is under that. I'm soooo tempted to rebuy it but buy the Legendary Edition.
  7. Wasn't that part in a trailer anyways? I remember the whole theater freaking out when it showed in a preview.
  8. Because I've been seeing Witcher 3 stuff, I've gone back and been listening to the Witcher 2 soundtrack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2AKB7g3hr0 Also, I recently watched How to Train Your Dragon 2, and that has a pretty stellar soundtrack.
  9. I decided to buy Euro Truck Simulator 2 since it was only four dollars. New daily deals are about to refresh, so we'll see if there's any good stuff today.
  10. And here's where I buy games that I think I'll play but I'll never touch. Oh well. Haven't seen anything I'm super interested in yet.

Don't Gaussians come up frequently in statistics, and to analyze stuff like that you need calculus (among other things). I may be wrong. I didn't take any statistic classes. Didn't need to.
  12. My nephews have Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U, and I was housesitting/dogsitting for them for the weekend. So I was able to play it and experience how the game can be rigged for myself. I can't count the number of times I was in 1st place for 2/3 of the race and then I got [bleep]ed by so many things in a row and dropped to 6th. It was fun, though... for the most part.
  13. This thread made me realize that I've gone to see a lot of movies recently... Went and saw How to Train Your Dragon 2 on Sunday. 10/10. I agree with many reviews that say it is one of the few cases where a sequel greatly improves on the first film. I loved it. I'll probably go see it again with my older sister except in 3D, cause she said it was really cool in 3D.
  14. But it's soo hard when you don't have a little keyboard for your controller. :P So I'm down to my last weapon to use in BOII, the Assault Shield. I'm going to hate it, and it's going to bring my SPM and K/D down quite a bit, which bothers me. But after that, I'll have everything mastered (except the Peacekeeper). Then I can finally play the game! :P EDIT: Finished the Assault Shield. Was easier than I expected, probably because I got a little better at using it. Still did means things to my stats. With other weapons, it was frustrating because I'd only get 2-3 headshots per game. The assault shield was frustrating because I could barely win any fights unless i caught them off guard. But the nice thing was that if I got 5-6 kills in a game, I knew all of them would count towards the kills with the assault shield. I now have that fancy playercard that has the dude in the suit on it for mastering both all primaries and all secondaries. I feel like I've finished the game. I'll still come back to it, but having played nearly 15 days, I'm content with where I'm at. Maybe I'll go for an even 2.0 k/d (at 1.97 now).
  15. Yeah, I meant the campaign for Halo 2. I'm excited for the multiplayers to come back, too, especially Halo 2 because I was so young when I played it, but I have good memories of it. And it'll be cool to try Halo 1 multiplayer on a console. $399 is looking cheaper and cheaper the more I salivate over this Halo Collection.

The funny thing is, after a year or two, you start dreading seeing your old high school friends (except for the super duper close ones). I remember the summer after my freshman year, it was all about reunions with high school friends. But after that, I made much better friends with people at college and my high school friends changed so much that seeing them is awkward and I avoid it as much as possible. Glad to hear you are doing well academically and that you did well on the social-front, making new friends and all. That's awesome.
  17. I just ran into the funniest kid on BOII. Please read the whole conversation. It's funny. Here's how the conversation goes: Me: greenwall baby //commenting on his emblem, since I was an Optic fan Him: u suck u dont even have 1 nuclear Me: my kd and spm are better than yours. just means i don't sit back and play passive for a medal Him: go check my vault i have a 60 and 58 gun streak u only have 2 brutals u suck Me: but your kd and spm are lower. if you're so good, why are they low? i've even mstered every gun in the game //His kd is 1.79, spm is 381 (mine is 1.98 and 401; not a big difference, but he was being stupid and nitpicky, so i was going to as well); all his kills are with guns like M8A1, AN-94, FAL, MK48 Him: since ur kd and spm min are so good then why havent u got a nuke oh wait i forgot us suck or use shitty guns same thing <3 Me: i like to do challenges and like rushing. why do you think you're so much better than me because you have a couple nuclears? what a joke Him: im not saying im better then u im saying it is terrible that after 14 days of (rushing) u have never got a nuke ;) At this point, I go check his vault and watch the two full gameplays he has on there and lo and behold, they are the most pathetic nukes I've ever seen: 1. playing multi-team with a full party (two other dudes get nukes and unstoppables as well) 2. whole team is running support (uav, cuav, vsat) 3. enemy teams are literally all split screeners who are first rank and have absolutely no thumbs (these kids didn't react at all to this kid running around in front of them) 4. playing hardpoint, juggling the hill for vsats, and LOSING THE GAME So, I replied with the following, and his reply is absolutely priceless Me: im saying its sad that your high gunstreaks and nuclears are in multiteam hardpoint with a full party running support for you against first rank split screeners who have absolutely no thumbs. soo pro dude Him: hey im about to reset will u play teamdeath with me and run vsat uav and counter uav because that was a good point and i dont want to do this all day Me: lol, i was just saying hi to a fellow greenwaller. you started it. nah, i don't want to run support for you. but good luck trying to get a tdm nuke playing solo dude :) I thought it was hilarious. EDIT: I just realized, maybe he thought I had called him a "baby" in my first message. Oops. I was saying it more like, "go greenwall, baby!"

I applied for another local PC technician job since the one I applied to over two weeks ago hasn't contacted me back at all (despite me feeling very qualified and excited for it). This one I applied for today I'm even more confident and excited about because I feel comfortable with all the requirements except one, which is easily something I can learn on the job. Plus, it says the current employees are getting paid close to $30/hr. That would really be sweet. So I'm hoping I get it. My fingers are crossed. Plus, I'm tired of sitting on my ass all day. I want to make money so I can move into my own place.
  19. I've seen sources that say that Halo 2 will receive the full anniversary revamp when it comes to graphics, much like they did with Halo 1. But like Halo 1, you can switch back and forth. And then, in addition, Halo 2 multiplayer will be in its original form to play, alongside 6 maps which will receive the anniversary treatment as well. http://www.vg247.com/2014/06/10/halo-2-anniversarys-raw-gameplay-looks-shiny-on-xbox-one/
  20. Just came back from Edge of Tomorrow. It's probably one of the best movies I've seen in theaters this year. 10/10 from me. Not a huge fan of Tom Cruise, but I think he did a great job in this film. Plot was really cool, monsters were frightening enough, etc.
  21. I'll post this here, since this thread is kinda like "What did you do today (gaming related)". I bought a wired Xbox 360 controller because my wireless has reached its end. At first, the LS button wouldn't work at times. So I took it apart and deep cleaned it (not sure how much good this did). I continued to play with it and it was fine. Then, it started wonking out again, this time, while i would be sprinting, my character would randomly stop, and at times, even start going backwards. This was frustrating, so I just said screw it and bought a wired controller. I wanted a wired because a) it's a new controller in general and b) i could use it was my PC to play games that have controller support. This may make restarting the Mass Effect series more appealing. Which is other news. I think I'll start over on Mass Effect 1 mainly because I forgotten so much of the story since I last played (last Christmas). I'm doing to dread the elevators, but oh well.
  22. Going to see The Edge of Tomorrow. Supposed to be pretty good given its reviews. My older sister is super excited for it. It looks pretty cool to me. I'll edit this post with a rating after I see it.
  23. Uhh, so they're releasing a Halo Master Chief Collection, which has Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4, along with working multiplayers for every single one of them (including all 100+ maps from all four Halo games). You'll swap to the corresponding game engine according to what map you play on. They've also remade Halo 2 much like they did Halo for the anniversary. In short, all four Master-Chief-oriented Halo games are on one disc for the Xbox One, where you can play any level of any game in any order. And it's only $60. I highly recommend looking at the media briefing. The Halo announcement begins about an hour and 20 minutes into it. I kinda just want to buy an Xbox One just for the collection.
