  1. It seems like it! My dad calls his Brucey, haha. So, I watched Life of Pi for the first time since I saw it in theaters. Fortunately, I had it on Blu-ray, so the graphics were up to par with how they were in theaters. Really like that movie. I read the book way back in middle school and loved it. Also rewatched the Avengers the other night. Was fun, of course. I replayed all the Hulk's best moments because I laughed so much. Been watching movies a lot since I'm on spring break.
  2. I didn't get to play the beta, but my little brother bought me the game, and I watched some gameplay. Preloading it now. Hopefully it's as fun as people said it was!
  3. Yeah, I'm not going to go as far as to say COD is done once Titanfall comes out. Half the hype for Titanfall is the fact that they've got ex-COD dudes on it (who devved for COD games that were very successful). It could be successful, and it just as easily may not. And now they have three devs to do the COD cycle with the addition of Sledghammer. So we'll see where that franchise goes. I used to watch a lot of COD gameplay. I found Black Ops 2 to be very entertaining to watch and to play. I've logged 14+ days on Black Ops 2. But with Ghosts, I unsubbed from all the Call of Duty channels because I just found it straight boring.
  4. Reading Ender's Game (once again) for my English class. I can already feel myself getting super excited about it.
  5. My friends are in this three-person band. I'm supportive of them. But they think they're God's gift to earth and that they sound "so rock" and "so pop punk." They listen to other bands and say, "Dude, these guys sound so much like us!" (notice how they don't say "we sound like them"). Honestly, I don't like their music at all, and it isn't good. I'm best friends with all of them, so I'm not going to say anything. But hell, they've convinced themselves that everyone is head over heels for their music, which is really annoying.
  6. I watched the Expendables 2 last night on netflix because I was bored. What a ridiculous movie. So many cheesy one liners, and the action is over the top. I laughed so much just because of how crazy it was. In the end, it was entertaining. But definitely not a movie I'd go to watch in theaters or see again. My parents went to see it in theaters, which I found funny as hell. But hey, my dad loves Bruce Willis (who didn't play too big of a role, unfortunately).
  7. Does anyone else find it absolutely hilarious how much they're pushing Ghosts now that Titanfall is about to come out. It's $20 on newegg, and I'm hearing advertisements everywhere (like on Spotify, which I've never heard them on before). They obviously made too many copies. The funny thing is, I still doing think $20 for the game is worth it.
  8. You know what I really want to play... Killer Instinct. Too bad I need an Xbox One for it. I've never been into fighting games, but I have a feeling I would love just messing around on this game. Plus, the announcing is fantastic. I just walk around all day yelling ULTRAAAAAA in my head. Listen to Mike's Ultra. Hilarious.
  9. There's tons of cool ones that are almost all free for download on DeviantArt. I don't think I'd ever pay for a wallpaper, lol.

    Today...

Spring break is next week. Planning on going home, since my other friends were just planning on staying up at school. That's the last place I want to spend break. Plus, I want to see my family. And I also want to be able to spend as much time playing Titanfall as possible, heh.
  11. Yeah, I found Skyrim to be a lot more grabbing that the Witcher 1 is so far. Maybe it's because it's kinda an old game. I have the Witcher 2, but I feel like I should play through the first first. Bought the Humble Bundle. Completely forgot about that website, thanks Saq. Played a few hours of FEZ, and I absolutely loved it. I'm also looking forward to playing The Swapper. Looks cool. I like puzzle games.
  12. My little brother surprised me for my birthday and pre-ordered Titanfall for the PC for me. That was extremely nice of him. Hoping that I may be able to get a little further in the first Witcher game this weekend. Haven't quite got interested in it. I should really go back and finish Mass Effect 1. Haven't played it since early Christmas break.
  13. One of my favorite bands to listen to.
  14. Just finished reading A Canticle for Leibowitz. I had to read it for this science fiction English class I am taking. But man, what a powerful novel. A great book. Definitely would recommend it. It may start off slow, but it does so for a reason. Now I'm just sitting here and I don't know what to do. That seems to happen a lot after I finish a good book.
  15. Been listening a lot to Near the Parenthesis. Some very cool electronic/experimental music right there. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Programming language test in two hours. Surprisingly, Haskell hasn't been that bad at all. It's actually a pretty neat language. Of course, we've only gone over the simple stuff, and haven't done any super hard recursive functions. We'll see how this goes.
  17. We'll see if their extra dev time is noticeable. Imo, in order for Titanfall to be successful, they'll have to keep introducing cool new stuff into the game as time goes on. I don't think this should be too hard since they scrapped single player and have all the devs working on multiplayer.
  18. Same. I'll get some pictures of mine soon. I didn't want to risk putting my tower on the floor (which is really old carpet). I can't imagine the dust/dirt buildup if I had it down there.
  19. I find it weird that there's no single player. Seems like they could've made a pretty cool story. I'm not one to play campaigns on games like those (never liked Call of Duty campaigns), but given that so many games nowadays emphasize a really good story line, it's an interesting move to me. But I guess a game like Titanfall will be played for the sake of the multiplayer more a the single player campaign.
  20. Looks pretty cool. Little brother got a beta key somehow. I've been watching a few streams and YouTube videos of it. Looks fast paced, and I think the wall jumping is awesome looking. But is it really..... THE COD KILLER?!? bum bum bum
  21. I'm probably going to watch the Lego movie tonight in theaters. Really looking forward to it; I've heard it's really good. I'll edit this post once I've seen it. EDIT: 10/10. What an awesome movie.

    Today...

Got the BSOD on my PC last night. Scared the shit out of me. I managed to back up everything really quick and then run a full scan and a disk check. Also, because Windows seemed to be hinting that it was because my hard drive couldn't be read for a moment, I swapped out the SATA cable for a different one in case that was affecting anything. It's running fine now, and I'm not as concerned. If I have time this weekend, I may do a complete reinstall. If my hard drive goes kaputz, I'll just buy a WD Black this time and hope its better. Honestly, I'd rather have the problem be the $60 hard drive than the motherboard or something else.
  24. Been playing Murder in Garry's Mod. Really fun stuff there. I like it better than Trouble in Terrorist Town simply because people seem to like to screw around more than focus on the objective.
  25. Nah. I don't feel pressured by society to do that at all.
