How delightful, it appears a rather large storm will go by today and that means large power outages. Even though I will be gone most of the day with being at my favorite bookstore and get a nice bit to eat, the idea of torrential rain (I prefer normal because it feels more tranquil) and slapping winds aren't something I enjoy at all. My dad actually sold off a large chunk of his gun collection because my mother is on short-term disability for the radiation treatments, but it seems my brother is furious because he wanted to purchase a few of them. He's showing reasons why I dislike guns, and most fanatic owners, each day. Right now, I need to go. The storm is here and it looks feisty. I am mainly frustrated because people take me less seriously or perceive me as weird and don't value my opinion as much, and that's in a discussion. As for where it just flat out removed me from an opportunity altogether, I was showing shades of this in the middle of my first job interview this week (especially the eye contact part) and I actually needed to be employed even though it was mediocre at best. Overall, I am defining my frustrations with my quirks as a downright moment or mood killer. Since mental disorders might come up eventually as potential explanations, bipolar disorder does run in my dad's side of the family even though my personality could be the cause from inheriting the Cloudcuckoolander portions from those on my mom's side. I am starting to enjoy the Socrates style of approach here to be honest. It's requiring me to think more into myself and helps me understand why I find something annoying and can deal with it easier.
