  1. Would I be best off just ditching my three oxheads, replacing them with one of each single-stat crew, or are they still worth using on the triple stat voyages? (keeping one of the three)
  2. I think I can recall Jagex saying they would stop celebrating IRL holydays. (Back when Guthix died). Have they said anything about why they went back on that?
  3. Hey! Long time since I've seen you around. Hard to think there's like 6 years since we danced in Edgeville. (w99 edgeville, you will be missed)
  4. I'm just using drygores on them, and that works well. I can kill them when they are in their melee stance, but It's quite faster when they're in the range stance. So I just target the ones on all four when I attack a new creature, but a standing one if that's the only ones there. The only problem I've encountered is that using flurry to cancel their special attack attracts more of them, who may just use another special attack before the flurry timer has reset.
  5. The book is very fast to get. Took me maybe 30 minutes to get all parts.
  6. Due to the same reasons Blutters gives, I'd say it's only worth it if you value a rank on the hiscores of MA. If you don't care about ranks, I'd say it's not worth it.
  7. I'd rather see they fixed the initial problem there though, that two deaths still means the timer stayed on the first grave. Letting all items actually be inside the grave is just making the game work in a predictable way.
  8. Yeah, I haven't been able to log in from lobby since the sirenic armour update. Hopefully they'll fix this :)
  9. I'm not sure what I think about this update. I'm pretty sure I won't be prestiging, especially because of the increased xp needed for each prestige. Runescape already requires many hours to level up a skill 1-99. I would be quite a lot more tempted to reset if it still was 13m required to level up.
  10. It might just be me remembering wrongly, but wasn't there a cap on 200k resources earlier? I'm now at 201801 chimes after a new voyage.
  11. It's not another one of those run through a series of rooms 'grandmaster' quests is it... Not entirely - you're sent out in the "real" runescape world in the beginning. Myself, I liked the quest, though I agree on everyone that it had too many loose ends afterwards - It's meant to be the conclusion of the quest series after all. Grandmaster worthy, yes indeed, but it's not the best grandmaster quest out there. I think we're bound to be disappointed if we're always comparing new grandmester quests with with While Guthix Sleeps. Both because I think it's a very good quest, but also because we're not going to have the same surprise we had when it was released - the scope of that quest blew out the previous quests. (maybe exept legends quest in rsc)
  12. Also, If you by generic character mean men and women in Lumbrigde, Varrock Guards, Cows, Dragons etc. then they do not respawn. There's simply a new citizen, animal that appears. Garden of tranquility jokes about the average duty span of a Falador guard is about 20 seconds.
  13. Thanks! I stopped doing warbands after the update, but I might get started again now :)
  14. I think the expression in your sig is quite fitting, gwyn.
  15. I just didn't think about it, and therefore I didn't look after for it either. Just ran in and voted, then teleported out.
  16. I did not realise before now that the changes we're voting for actually is implented ingame already now. I just imagined that all the changes would come when all votes were done/Bol is done.
  17. Level 40: Slayer ring -> Slayer caves Level 50: I'm not sure this one is worth it unless you use nature altar tablets, or for just a few times/day with wicked hood -> nature altar
  18. I can understand that people do not want to click constantly (think stringing bows before make-x), but even with relatively low apm, you could require people to react to what happens in a way that optimises your xp rates / gathering rates. Things that make you more effective by paying attention. Divination has tried to do this with the chronicles and the enriched spawns, but it needs to do this in a more intense scale. You could still sacrifise some of the xp to be able to browse newspapers, forums or talk withother people. I would agree more with you if the game already was so that you couldn't practically talk with people whatever you did, but there's plenty of activites you can do and still be able to talk with others.
  19. Making a skill afk'able is in my opinion just a bad way out of a bad skill design. If the content a developer is making simply makes people want to do other stuff than actually playing it while playing it, then there's something wrong. If the skill is boring now, I'd rather like to have more interaction with it, not less. That's why Q's idea with taking some damage, and actually having to respond to the enviroment is the right direction, rather than resigning and let the players game other games while alt-tabbing to play runescape.
  20. Enriched got nerfed, they now spawn around the same time in every world :( quickhopping was fun They now spawn every 20 minutes exactly, it seems.
  21. Happened while I stayed at Seers as well - So many graves! :D
  22. The re-clicking nodes are now hotfixed - same xp afking and re-clicking.
  23. Thanks for tip. Whan I can do with chronicle fragments (orange circles)? When you get 10 of them, you can deposit them either in Draynor, or at the Guthix shrine (teleport with your 6'th age circuit) I think you get more xp at the shrine, but don't quote me on that. You get some lore as well when depositing them - like small Guthix quotes.
  24. Save the memories for enhanced memories and making the boon of your level though, but other than that - yes. It's faster to re-click the node when the xp pops up, rather than waiting, but you might want the slightly slower afk way.
  25. Just north of the city walls - east of the tele hub.
