  1. Are you talking about the camera facing south? That was an intentional update done to fix a bug until a permanent solution could be put into place. It now actually is the permanent solution. Untill NXT is released probably.
  2. Quest wasn't too difficult to be honest. Even the Light Puzzle was doable. All you had to do was notice how they all relate and what happens when you try each of the mirrors. Other than that, I could easily go with the flow =)!
  3. Supposedly these new creatures drop something new that lets you open a chest somewhere.
  4. To add to above list: 2x Noted Grimy Irit 2x Noted Grimy Kwuarm 1x Rune Platebody
  5. Yeah, I'm pretty n00b...I hardly played from 2008-April/May 2015 because life got in the way (got married, moved to a different city, had 2 kids, etc.) lol...which Skills would you advise that I get to 90+ (besides Attack)? EDIT: BTW, is there any chance you could show me a Action Bar set up for Magic AND Range? Thank you again, for all your help! :) I think both Slayer and Dungeoneering is a good way to start and get comfortable with Combat. Dungeoneering is quite a self-sustained area where the armour/weaponry etc is separate. This makes it a no-cost way to learn combat and on top of that learn a bit of mechanics from bosses there. Slayer provides decent money and also teaches you about combat. You then are also getting charms for Summoning, which can aid you in combat, by a lot. On top of that, both are skills used in Ports. EDIT: And spears are 2-handed weaponry now.
  6. It is a bit of a bummer that you lack 90 in several of your skills, otherwise you could try and get the port weaponry. These are T85 and Dual Wield. Perhaps it might be better to try and get the Chaotic weaponry as they are still a tier higher and thus a notch better than you currently own. On top of that they are free in the sense that it does not cost any GP. Drygores or the sort are usually not needed for simple bosses like these, but just makes it a bit faster to do.
  7. I will do some research on this "adrenaline stalling" and "Freedom"/"Anticipation" you mentioned...and will also look into separating out my Defensive Abilities in a different Action Bar. These "hotkeys" you speak of...are you saying I can assign keys on my keyboard to correspond to different Abilities? If so that would probably be much more faster than clicking, lol. As for the Dark Portals, after looking through the video again, I noticed I occasionally ignored the Dark Portals and continued fighting the Boss. This made him gain quite a bit of hit points back several times. It's frustrating that this Boss has the ability to heal himself, lol. Guthan's Warspear is sadly the highest level weapon I have ATM...I saw a video of someone using a Noxious Scythe and they seemed to have no problem taking down the 1st Boss...I looked it up in the Items Database on here and the current market value of this weapon is over 100M GP (?!!!) which is a lot more than I currently have. It also requires 90+ in all combat skills and I currently only have 89 Attack and 89 Defense. I could fairly easily get these both up to 90, though. Would you by any chance have a higher rated weapon that I could borrow, once I get all my combat skills up to 90+? As for using Magic, it's funny you should mention that. I actually brought 1,000 Water Runes and 1,000 Air Runes to cast a level 85 Water spell but silly me forgot that a staff was required to cast Magic spells, lol. I actually thought the Boss had the ability to cause my Action Bar to disappear. I must have forgot to lock my Action Bar after adding Abilities to it, lol. This did make it harder to use my Abilities, especially when my Protect prayers turned off. Thank you so much for all your great tips, you're AWESOME! I've surprisingly never had this much trouble with a Quest...it's taken me over 6 hours to get to this far in the quest. I was surprised that it was rated as "Intermediate" and gives such bad rewards, lol. I'm only doing it so I can get close to being able to wear my Quest Cape again, haha. You could look into Drygores then. The cheapest set combination is about 36m and consist of a Main-hand Rapier (24m~25m) and Off-hand Mace (~11m). Also I noticed you only used 2 basic abilities? Why? You need at least 4-5 to make good use of basic abilities as they are more powerful than autoattacks. I think this would suit you, if you go for Dual Drygores: SliceHavocTuska's WrathSeverBackhandSacrificeAnd as thresholds: AssaultSlaughterDestroyThen, you'll still have 5 spaces on which you can use both Freedom and Anticipation on. The rest doesn't matter much and can be used for food and potions. However, I do agree with Arceus that Magic/Ranged works far better in this case than Melee. If you want I could also give you an ability bar setup for that ;).
  8. I already had a hunch that it had something to do with blocking of our scripts. At first I thought it was a simple pop-up blocking as you implied that normal quoting worked fine and it was just the multi-quote. But then you said it was also with the normal quoting. Now you seem to have figured out that you block all kind of scripts, I am surprised you are able to post at all :P.
  9. You do not see something pop-up on the left side like this:
  10. That is terrific to hear about, congratulations =3!
  11. Hmm... the quoting thing is a bit off. Could you provide a screenshot or perhaps a gif?
  12. You could start working on the requirements for the Quest Point Master Cape. A list of requirements can be found here: [qfc]373-374-974-65664320[/qfc]
  13. Well to be fair, 5m in a RSClassic environment is a stinking lot of money.
  14. Attain Quest Cape upon completion of all quests. Once a new quest comes out it untrims the cape. Needs to complete newest quest to re-trim the cape. I think the point was his sentence structure was that of the idea of x is y, but he only went as far as the idea of x. I interpreted it as: He has an idea (x) and it works like this (y).
  15. Attain Quest Cape upon completion of all quests. Once a new quest comes out it untrims the cape. Needs to complete newest quest to re-trim the cape.
  16. Is fine by me as well <3!
  17. Am I cool now?
  18. That is because you do not kill the QBD, just put her back in the slumber she was before you entered the room.
  19. Also, the comparison between MQPC and Comp Cape is inevitable if the former can get overshadowed by the latter. I fear that is what is happening at the moment. By simply pointing out how much they have in common in terms of requirement, disregarding Skills as future skills probably will bump up the requirements making them closer, proves easily how much they match and thus gets overshadowed.
  20. Actually the best is a combination is Chaotic Crossbow Main-hand with Dragonbane Bolts in the ammunition slot and the Death Lotus Darts in the Off-hand slot. If you cannot do that, the next best would be the Royal Crossbow with Dragonbane Bolts.
  21. Of course, it shouldn't be compared to Completionist Cape. I agree with that notion. But on the other hand I also want to see a distinction between the routes players can go to do what they want. Completionist people who want a little bit of everything, have the Comp cape. PVM'ers currently have several titles: Final Boss, Insane Final Boss, Defeater and the latest, Daredevil. Now questers are finally getting something as well. However, unlike the other group, these questers are also pretty close to Comp Cape with the requirements as they stand. In my opinion the Road to MQPC is too intertwined with the Comp Cape for it to exist in the current state. Not surprisingly, but what should be looked at is a road where it distinctively diverse with the Comp Cape in such a way that Comp Cape is still a very far stretch once MQPC is achieved. Just like that is for the PVM people with their titles. Achieving these titles only brings them marginally closer to Comp Cape.
  22. In quests you will defeat a boss once, you will use skills but won't train those in the quests. So yeah a req that involves killing a boss once or maybe a few times is fine, a req that involves the near mastering of a skill is not imo (level 90 base for broken home was already high imo, but I could live with that). What you are saying is that if we would make a "master"-mining cape it would fit to add quest-reqs because you get the best pickaxes from quests... That is not what you do while mining (note this is just an example, to explain why I find it strange to add 117 dung) Except in this case the req is exactly like Quests. The req isn't train to 117 dunge, its get the journal and that happens to take 117 dunge. The req isn't the dunge requirement, its the journal. Just like for quest cape, the requirement would be to complete the Plague's End, and that happens to require 75 dungeoneering. Its possible if we ever get Floor 61 we will even have level 120 Post-Quest content. Plus any future quests involving Inventor. Quests don't have an upper limit on the level reqs they can go to, I don't think the Mastery should Then I'll reinstate my point: if the levels gets soo close to Completionist Cape levels, with more/lnger requirements than Comp Cape has, wouldn't it be the better Comp Cape? Let me point out in detail (To make it easier, green is a requirement on both, yellow is not sure and red is a distinct difference): * Level wise they would be very close to each other, pretty much cancelling each-other out. Probably not 100%, but for a huge part. * Quests is even on both, as they both require full completion of Quests as part of the requirements. * Livid Farm Spells is only a requirement for Comp. * Post Content prayers as Chivalry, Piety are also on both. * Rapid Renewal can be easily unlocked from Dungeoneering, requiring no extra time and barely any effort. Is not part of the MQPC tho. * Kudos is a requirement on both. * The first requirement that can be problematic is Music. The thing about Quests is that they bring you pretty much everywhere and beyond. I do not know how many songs is not unlocked if someone only did quests. But I can imagine not much. * Abyss access is a requirement on both. * Desert Treasure miniquest - Shadow Sword, is on both capes. * Same goes for Goblin Priest, * Fight Kiln, * Clarence, * Tarn Razolor's secrets, * Stronghold of Player Safety, * Stronghold of Security, * unabridged Fremennik Sagas, * Thalassus 10x, * QBD with Journal (and for MQPC another 3 journals) * And Carnillean Rising - Claus * Big Chinchompa - Score of 1111 is not part of the MQPC * Dorics tasks * Annihilator title * Zaros memoriam crystals * Seren's memoriam crystals * Player owned ports, while not 100% confirmed yet, it is likely this will be on the MQPC as well. * Yaktwee Stick * Tuska Mask * One of the 3 story lines (MQPC goes further and requires all story lines). * Reefwalker Cape * 15 Mahjarrat memories for Kharshai * Bandos Memories * The Reaper title is not required for MQPC * All of the Elven titles (Is this part of the post-quest content? Or only some titles?) * Memoriam Crystals also unsure, should imo be on the MQPC if not. * Lord Amlodd - Cleansing shadow cores * The 3rd spirit Tree part of the MQPC? * Lady Ithell - singing research * Lady Meilyr - Potion Recipes * Rush of Blood * Lady Trahaearn - removing corruption (Gives lamps that has PE mark on it) * Fully built statue of Rhiannon * Slayer Master Rush of Blood Challenge (Why is there a second one?) * The Famous title * Daffyd implings * Recipes once again * Hefin Journal pages, shouldn't this be on MQPC as well? * Tiny Zemouregals Achievements (or at least should be on it) * Prawn Perks Looking at this list, I think it is unreasonable how close the MQPC rivals the Comp Cape. There are differences between them, but there aren't many that takes significant more time. Pretty much only 1: Livid Farm. And that one was almost on the MQPC as well. And then I can begin on the additional requirements of the MQPC as they stand now, which I do not think I need to list, as the time taken is most likely far more... This is why I think the MQPC as it stands now, has taken a wrong turn somewhere.
  23. That is also how I see what this cape has become, a mini-comp cape. It is not that I do not like the guide-lines or something, but currently it runs the danger of about anything that can be added to it. It might be possible that in the future this cape would beat the Comp Cape in terms of difficulty or prestige.
