Might not want to turn it into a "main" just yet. Should wait until after the combat update goes live and test it out in PvP to see if it can still hold its own. Might want to get 50 def though, since Rune armour will require 50 def.

Got 500k once, and fish mask twice. Would've taken Queen's Guard hat/Staff over the 500k anyday, tbh.

LLLL I was heading towards Rimmington so I could complete the Witch's potion miniquest, going to grab onions on the way there. I notice a red dot on the minimap, I check and see cannon barrels! So I right click and there's a crapton of stuff there! Some guy must have died at Grotworms (with full cannon in inventory!) and somehow didn't manage to get back or something.

I found a way to get around the membership trial. You still have to activate it, but you can avoid having to log into P2P worlds. All you have to do is, instead of activating the membership trial from the e-mail it sends you when you first log in, go to your account settings page. Then go re-set your e-mail adress from there, and it will send you an e-mail to activate the e-mail change. Upon activating that, it automatically activates the membership trial. And then, after I logged in, instead of prompting me to create my character and automatically placing me in Burthorpe cave, it allowed me to select a F2P world and play through the F2P Lumbridge tutorial instead. You are? Last I heard you just didn't have to click the link in the activation email they send you. And then you can't access the game until you click the link. Didn't people find a way around this when the trial first came out? Something about skipping the tutorial and then just logging in straight into a F2P world. I mentioned that.

So people are going to stop playing RuneScape because it's not "simple" anymore, and instead going to another game which isn't "simple" either? wat Lrn2read If runescape becomes more complex they will lose players to games that do complex gameplay better. Those who want simplicity will just quit altogether. However that jmod post few up looks very promising that they won't take the game too far in that direction. You very clearly said "will lost players to other mmos which do it better", without mentioning those who will quit altogether. So... judging by your post, I assume I read correctly.

Yeah I wasn't too keen on this. When I made a new account a while back I just wanted to muck about in F2P, not be dropped into a Members tutorial. What I did was create a new account, accept the trial membership then immediately log out. Then I waited it out before logging in again. A bit of a hassle if you want to start a new F2P acc right away, though. But you could simply turn off the P2P tutorial right off the bat, Lodestone teleport to Lumbridge then never use a P2P world again (Only P2P thing unlocked would be the music from the troll cave in Burthorpe.) Would still suffer from the G.E. limits though.

When at Blue Dragons at Heroe's Guild. The bots there. If you steal their kills a few times in a row, they start going to the middle of the pen between each of your kills. Makes killstealing much easier. Also, once, I was at the very same Blue Dragon spot, when some higher level person was most obviously botting (the usual bot behaviour, kept trying to attack the dragon while I was quite obviously attacking it.) Eventually, she took actual control of the account and started [bleep]ing. She puts up her cannon, I go get mine. She placed her cannon in the middle, while mine was one spot to the right. Eventually, she took her cannon down, so I moved mine to wheverer her cannon was. Then my cannon would keep getting me kills, while she struggled, moving her cannon over and over to try and get more kills. (And eventually, her rapier ran out of charges, LOL)
