  1. Auto-attacks usually happen when switching from one target to another after killing the first one, though you can avoid it if you switch between targets fast enough (hard to do consistently when dual-wielding two "Fastest" weapons.) I'm not too sure exactly how Conservation will work, but if it forces an ability instead of doing the usual auto-attack first hit, it may solve the problem. Could also avoid that auto-attack first hit by pressing an ability key while you have no target and then attacking an enemy, but that's time wasted when killing a large amount of NPCs (ex: Slayer.)
  2. Main culprits there are the ability bar and the menu bar, from what I've experienced. It seems those usually try to move one pixel up and one pixel to the right whenever you saved your interface and re-loaded it. Example: In order to have a more "stable" interface, I found it was better to have the ability bar and menu bar completely apart from other interfaces. I'm gonna agree with you that it doesn't look the best; I'd rather be able to have a setup like yours where nothing obstructs the screen, but various interfaces keep strangely moving by amounts of 1 pixel, which ends up messing up a lot of things. Is that screenshot what it should look like normally? Can you give us a screenshot of what it looks like whenever you reload RS?
  3. Fair enough on the other points, but with the upcoming Conservation ability it would probably become possible to reliably always be using abilities without getting accidental auto-attacks. It would be possible for people to be extra careful to make sure they never do auto-attacks (like pressing an ability key, then clicking a monster), but it would mostly be an annoyance since you would have to wait until the monster you just killed actually died before being able to do that. If they added targeting back in, it would be less of an issue, but still.
  4. I always thought that Cooking gauntlets gave the bonus xp if you had the sous-chef's mitts, could have sworn I had read that in an update post/patch notes before.
  5. There's a difference between making the game *easier* and making it *more convenient*.
  6. Yeah but Rorarii are easy enough to kill, you even make a profit killing them. 200k upkeep cost = 40 darts. Even with ammo costs you're talking like 300-400k at worst in the 10 hours So if you lose more than 100 darts to breakage in less than 10 hours you're not gonna be better off - gonna be hard pushed to not waste more than that. Abilities also use zero ammo, not sure if you took that into consideration. There is a logic there of course, until you start using the darts long term. 50k darts = 250m afterall. And for 250m for the mh and using a ccb oh you can still increase your dps. Plus for the cost increase the dpds increase vs ccb or royal with royal bolts doesnt really stack up to that much. And how long would it take to make 50k darts? In order for that comparison to be relevant, you would have to be unable to use your darts until you reach 50k of them. However, as soon as you have a couple, you can instantly start using them and enjoying the Lv. 85 accuracy and damage. You can't just start using an Ascension crossbow for Lv. 90 accuracy/damage until you have the full 250m for one.
  7. Nice, they didn't disable that so it kept adding weeks every time.
  8. Isn't it sad that the community can come up with ideas miles better than Jagex's, yet they never implement them? And then they go and implement the sub-par ideas instead.
  9. When you get 250k+ Dominion Factor and still not get any page! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
  10. For what it's worth, RS2 will have its 10th birthday on March 29th 2014 :P Not April, but that's pretty close so I'll give you that. Does anyone else think that RS3 would have been much better if it had been the same deal as RSC --> RS2? As in, the game being re-coded and then having people transfer their accounts to the new game instead of just tacking on new features onto RS2 and calling it RS3?
  11. Yeah, but the shield degrades per hit, if I'm correct. I forgot to specify I was talking about the shield there. Probably not worth it indeed, since it would take 25,000 hits per shield to turn them back into seeds.
  12. I believe you could simply stand at rorarii with an inventory full of food to heal back up and stay there with a lot of them attacking you at once. Or any other location where you end up having a lot of monsters attacking at once. Anything should work as long as the monsters attack with Ranged or Magic, since you would only be able to have 4 Melee monsters at once on you.
  13. Less Godless attacks pretty much only equals to less chance at Sacred metal fragment drops anyway.
  14. I'll easily be able to get back to Dragon token on Armadyl's side then!
  15. Where did you do your mining when you were in early 40's Mining? Right now I'm mining iron at Al-Kharid mine, but if there's a place where I could mine iron closer to a bank, I'd rather do that.
  16. Bonfires are less efficient than rocktails. Never do them. How can you commet on Bonfires when you don't do wbs? Not doing warbands is 3x as inefficent as bonfires. A bit hypocritical imo. Because it doesn't make the point any less valid.
  17. I see. Would Spined gloves/boots be worth using until I get enough money for at least Arma? Or should I make money elsewhere first and try only once I have Armadyl gloves/boots?
  18. If you are telling us to wear ranged gloves/boots in order to maximize our Magic and Ranged defences, why aren't Glaiven boots and Tracking gloves even an option? Wouldn't they give you more armour against Magic and Ranged than Pernix/Arma ones? Or is the damage increase from Pernix/Arma really important when killing Prime? On a different note, would someone have the time to make a video guide based on this? I think that having both a video guide and a written guide would help even more people, since some people (such as myself) would understand much better by seeing it in action instead of reading a text guide.
