  1. Well actually, even if there's only main hand ones, we'd be able to do mh DL Darts + off-hand Chaotic crossbow, which would still be better than dual CCB, RCB or Zaryte bow. We would have a bit lower damage than actual Lv. 85 weapons would have, but we'd be hitting with Lv. 85 accuracy instead of Lv. 80, which is still a nice boost.
  2. If your account wasn't registered on RuneTrack yet, then they won't have your stats from a year ago.
  3. How effective would a money sink skill be in the current environment, though? I'm not sure how well such a skill can be balanced with the level of wealth disparity we have today: it seems like you'd have to choose between making it noticeably decrease the amount of money that a "1%" player can have, or make it accessible to the average player. What about having a buyable pretty fast method while also having another method accessible to the average player with lower (without being like 35k/hour) exp rates? The wealthier players wouldn't mind spending money on materials to level up faster and the less wealthy wouldn't be left out.
  4. @mlskid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCCoc2vkwI8 This is what I was talking about
  5. Lol I hadn't even noticed you until you pointed it out.
  6. Chaotic claws require a set of Dragon claws to make though. My guess is that there already was a far too great amount of Dragon claws in the game compared to the amount of people who wanted to have Chaotic claws.
  7. I'm not entirely sure I agree with this... what's so bad about it? Making items that come from ports be able to upgrade other weapons etc sounds like a good idea to me. With it coming from ports it means there's nothing really new added into the game as like a drop, and its untradeable so you can only DIY... It's not that much of a "grind" really as all you do is send ships out and then wait for them to come back... plus you could add all sorts of nuances to customize each player's weapons to whatever they like... How would this be bad? It's bad when it involves (tradeable) items that should be useful at lower levels, because they essentially stop being low-level items. Like Dragon -> Ascension crossbows: being used as a component is going to keep them out of the price range of everyone with 60 ranged, they may as well not exist for that tier. I think that's a problem of the components being too hard to obtain; Lv. 60 rangers shouldn't be expected to be able to finish While Guthix Sleeps and kill Tormented demons to get Dragon crossbows (nor should they be expected to get ~95 Fletching for Elder bows, but at least Elder bows are widely available since a lot of Elder logs are coming into the game so they can buy one at a reasonable price on the G.E.)

  9. Invention may take care of that though.
  10. Because high level-only content is a bad thing, right? You mean they haven't made enough updates accessible to everyone yet?
  11. Not to mention that a Solomon's General Store update was delayed too, not just actual content.
  12. Nice set of fashionscaping skills.
  13. First 99 of 2014 on TIF perhaps? Was like 2-3 minutes past midnight over here at the time anyway and I haven't seen a 99 screenshot post yet.
  14. People are going to keep discussing a subject for as long as there still are issues with it.
  15. If you don't plan on using the staff, then it would probably be a better choice to get the claws first. Dual-wield Rapiers and Longswords aren't worth it unless you like the look and don't mind sacrificing the critical hit bonus from the claws; they also cost 100k tokens more than the claws. The Maul costs the same amount as the claws, but without a critical hit bonus. It can also use 2h abilities, which the Claws cannot; however, 2h abilities would offer no advantage against Frost dragons over dual-wield abilities from the Claws. tl;dr the Claws would be a better choice for what you want to do, statistically speaking.
  16. After getting Chaotic staff, it may be a good idea to get Chaotic claws as well so that you can kill Frost dragons faster than with just Vine whip + Enhanced Excalibur.
  17. Then you can beat him in the race and be like "Watch out! Someone is 1up-ing you!"
  18. You had bonus exp in Agility or something?
  19. So you're the one who's been getting all the hilts!
  20. I don't care about what the next Elemental Workshop quest will be, all I care is that we can access the Nature door and the Astral door and the ability to finally make elemental legs.
