  1. When does the Jagex [AIO] Fisher come out?
  2. If only they never made the citadels and dedicated all the development hours into a runescape wide graphical update, instead of the patchwork jobs they typically do Also the removal of the gate/fence wall is a long awaited realism update. I hated for years that the seperation between biomes was a simple wood fence
  3. My guess is no because top 15 runescape is pretty repetitive and livestreaming can be a liability at times
  4. I thought that was the partyhat dupe in RSC. Jagex does this with modern bugs as well fyi
  5. Dat font background color
  6. This. Lol. regardless of whether or not its real, the common feeling is if its not coming in this update it will be coming in the future
  7. Selling phats GE limit + 500m junk!
  8. time is money. People value something like party hats because of the insane time commitments it takes to get it. Factoring out inflation entirely I compared it to the Federal Reserve for this reason. The price of items is directly correlated to what they are worth in the real world. A party hat is worth 200m xp in a buyable perhaps. So buying a party hat has a time save value of 100's of hours, as a result valued at US minimum wage its worth $500+ as a lower bound. What a Jagex owned GP shop would cause: An upper bound on what gold is worth. In the abstract this isn't so bad, but imagine a major gold sink. Where the player gold market would revalue enough gold for 200m xp in a buyable skill to be worth 200 hours of work in the real world, the Jagex shop could prevent that supply/demand meeting causing things to go haywire. I think gp could be considered worthless after a certain point and something as bad as junk trading can emerge again. Claims Im making in this argument: - Real world value of gold determines game value. This shouldn't be controversial because there is a level of meeting on things that cost more time to get will be valued more in the real world then things easily gotten which will be cheap ingame/outside. - A price sink with static Jagex gold pricing will cause a market meltdown felt throughout the game beyond the ability of RWTers to generate a profit - Every incentive is for Jagex to further deflate the price of gold to reap more profit off it. Edit: sorry if this is horribly written I am running on next to no sleep, the tl;dr for this is Jagex owned gold shops will cause an economic fiasco throughout the game Edit:Edit: I open this to all the amateur economist lurkers/posters to make their predictions on the total market effects of a Jagex gold shop
  9. I think its a Jagex owned gold shop. The only real consquence of Jagex having one is that private gold sellers will just sell for a bit cheaper then w/e Jagex sells for. Plus inflation from gold being created instead of being redistributed. I can go into greater detail about why this would act a lot like the Federal Reserve in the United States and cause even greater problems in the RS economy (if its popular) beyond that of "unfairness"
  10. I find it crazy that suomi is still on the top xp gains even though hes done with all his buyable skills
  11. Cost is in logs, pyramid plunder stuff and farming mats.
  12. if not I used molotov cocktail as a placeholder for all IED's. Stuff like that would certainly be used in situations like this, the movie theater incident or columbine. Plus even a full ban on all guns in the united states wouldn't prevent them from entering. Massive amounts of guns can get smuggled in (just like drugs) and you create cartel conditions on the gun market like drugs.
  13. Most casino odds depend on the game you're playing (assuming perfect strategy). Games of complete luck like slots vary in their odds, usually based on their denomination. My older brother works for a casino and showed me the house take. $.01 slots usually had a 10% take, $50 slots had the best odds with a 1.5% take. Oddly enough $100 slots had a 2.5% take. Basically these percentages are the averages of all their slot machines over a month, odds vary by game. Jagex really needs to take a stance, either endorse gambling or outright ban it in-game. Discouraging it really is neither one way nor the other. Not really hurting Jagex to do nothing. Most rwt is gained through bots and gold farmers. Gambling has very little to do with it, what it does do is given the token rwter to ban and show off that they are stopping the gold farmer rwters. Thats the only logical reason I can come up with for why they need to endorse or ban gambling. Anything else wouldn't really matter that much to Jagex.
  14. Yeah its still an improvement over the broken restricted trade where merch clans were in your face
  15. Yes, because the gun laws are crap in the first place. If they were made illegal now, there are still hundreds of thousands of guns in circulation which would indeed be easy to get illegally. But, Instead of thinking about the present, think about future generations. With a change of law comes the possibility of a change of culture with future generations, with guns being perceived rightly as bad things tor civilians to have, and the possibility of many being taken out of circulation, making aquiring them illegally much more difficult, stopping many of these shootings from happening. no it wont. If somone really wanted they can make a molotov cocktail easily if they want to kill a group of people and are unable to find a gun
  16. its not illegal. The most Jagex can do to gold selling sites is force them to remove rs or runescape from their names.
  17. Whoops that was a terrible list. I actually copied it off a blog without checking that normally has good content. I say that Obama and Romney are about the same because policy wont change much with either of them.
  18. Not really if you do just tap the unsubscribe button and be on your way. I hear WoW MoP isn't as bad as people expect I already unsubscribed over this update. Welcome to freedom ;). When you turn off your computer you'll forget all about the corrupt mods of the world.

At the end of everything you have 2 choices, either spontaneous creation or some force having always existed outside the universe. If spontaneous creation exists then anything can spontaneously exist at any time ever, no logic or reason and I would say "gf science you win this round nature" given this option. If some force like gravity exists in a way outside the universe and has always existed popping out universes in the sea of multiverses then it breaks the logic problem a spontaneous creation idea would have. If your thinking of God in a Christian sense then no it wouldn't matter whether this is God or not because this idea of God offers no morality or rewards or punishment or even interaction with the world. I like this explanation because it fits peoples definitions of God (much like Zeus is seen as a God even though no one believes in Zeus). Edit: I really want someone to disagree with me about whether or not the force creating the universe needs to be conscious to be considered God. My stance is no, but I would love to hear an argument for yes.
  20. Correct it wont make a difference. The following are 40 ways that Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are essentially the same candidate…. 1. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney TARP. 2. Mitt Romney supported Barack Obama’s “economic stimulus” packages. 3. Mitt Romney says that Barack Obama’s bailout of the auto industry was actually his idea. 4. Neither candidate supports immediately balancing the federal budget. 5. They both believe in big government and they both have a track record of being big spenders while in office. 6. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both fully support the Federal Reserve. 7. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are both on record as saying that the president should not question the “independence” of the Federal Reserve. 8. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have both said that Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke did a good job during the last financial crisis. 9. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both felt that Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke deserved to be renominated to a second term. 10. Both candidates oppose a full audit of the Federal Reserve. 11. Both candidates are on record as saying that U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has done a good job. 12. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have both been big promoters of universal health care. 13. Mitt Romney was the one who developed the plan that Obamacare was later based upon. 14. Wall Street absolutely showers both candidates with campaign contributions. 15. Neither candidate wants to eliminate the income tax or the IRS. 16. Both candidates want to keep personal income tax rates at the exact same levels for the vast majority of Americans. 17. Both candidates are “open” to the idea of imposing a Value Added Tax on the American people. 18. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both believe that the TSA is doing a great job. 19. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both supported the NDAA. 20. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both supported the renewal of the Patriot Act. 21. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both believe that the federal government should be able to indefinitely detain American citizens that are considered to be terrorists. 22. Both candidates believe that American citizens suspected of being terrorists can be killed by the president without a trial. 23. Barack Obama has not closed Guantanamo Bay like he promised to do, and Mitt Romney actually wants to double the number of prisoners held there. 24. Both candidates support the practice of “extraordinary rendition”. 25. They both support the job-killing “free trade” agenda of the global elite. 26. They both accuse each other of shipping jobs out of the country and both of them are right. 27. Both candidates are extremely soft on illegal immigration. 28. Neither candidate has any military experience. This is the first time that this has happened in a U.S. election since 1944. 29. Both candidates earned a degree from Harvard University. 30. They both believe in the theory of man-made global warming. 31. Mitt Romney has said that he will support a “cap and trade” carbon tax scheme (like the one Barack Obama wants) as long . 32. Both candidates have a very long record of supporting strict gun control measures. 33. Both candidates have been pro-abortion most of their careers. Mitt Romney’s “conversion” to the pro-life cause has been questioned by many. In fact, Mitt Romney has made millions on Bain Capital’s investment in a company called “Stericycle” that incinerates aborted babies collected from family planning clinics. 34. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both believe that the Boy Scout ban on openly gay troop leaders is wrong. 35. They both believe that a “two state solution” will bring lasting peace between the Palestinians and Israel. 36. Both candidates have a history of nominating extremely liberal judges. 37. Like Barack Obama, Mitt Romney also plans to add “signing statements” to bills when he signs them into law. 38. They both have a horrible record when it comes to job creation. 39. Both candidates believe that the president has the power to take the country to war without getting the approval of the U.S. Congress. 40. Both candidates plan to continue running up more government debt even though the U.S. government is already 16 trillion dollars in debt.
  21. Not really too much difference between Romney/Obama so I really dont care. Obviously voted for Ron Paul in this.

I feel like arguing for a God today. Lets come up with the most basic idea of what a God is. Does God by definition have to be all knowing and/or all powerful? No. Isn't Zeus being called a God proof enough of this? Does God by definition have to care or even know about the world/universe? No. An African monotheism involved God making the world and leaving, and in other tellings making the world was a total accident. Does God have to be conscious of itself/its surroundings to still be called God? I would say no, but others may disagree with me. In my opinion of what God is, it doesn't necessarily have to be a conscious force just a force. What is God to me: The force responsible for creating the initial singularity that lead to the big bang, in the same way that gravity is responsible for creating stars. With this definition in mind, the idea of finding a specific force outside the universe responsible for creating it is far from absurd to believe in. You can strawman this position if you want but the only point I've said that can even be contested with is whether or not this force needs to be conscious to be called God, anything else is just a strawman.
  23. While I agree with you, RWT is hardly the same as armed robbery ;)
  24. A challenge for those who want a challenge
  25. Thats what I said. I compared it to getting a gun and going up to someone and saying "Smile or I will shoot your face off". That isn't a robbery but obviously isn't legal. Thats how I feel at the bare minimum this should be considered if courts agree that you do not own virtual goods. If you do own then then its armed robbery.
