  1. Same, sitting outside the door now :P just housework until then.... Neos, not an early riser? haha. Don't worry guys, I've got 5 hours of ovls/yaks in my invy :D feel free to pop in the fc when you're awake/out of dinner to double check we're still there.
  2. No idea, really. I suppose if there's 20 people that show up, we'll see if people want to branch off into another team, but it'll probably just be one group.
  3. Most written guides are (very) out of date, sadly. And Youtube either has idiots who don't know what they're doing/talking about or solo guides w/ virtus or drygores. Or at least, I didn't come across anything useful. Pretty much, just know that she attacks with melee and magic, her magic attack can hit everyone in the room. As long as you've got royal+ for armor and lvl 70+ weapons, that's good enough in my book. Did a duo with lvl 70 magic weapons after her last update for lulz, it was fine.
  4. Last Nex event was mostly Pop, a couple were in Nex/Barrows/GWD/void though. Mostly drygores, but there was a sprinkling of other stuff, like Staff of Light.

Saradomin Slaughter Zilyana (Saradomin) GWD Time and Date Date: August 10th Time: 1pm EST Other Time Zones: 5 pm GMT 6 pm BST 1 pm EDT 12 pm CDT 11 am MDT 10 am PDT 3 am AUS (on the 11th) I expect to be here for several hours (aiming for 3-4, at least), so don't worry if you can't be there right at the start :) Friends Chat: Levells [pending]blu_1376154000[/pending] Server and Location Server will be announced nearer to the time of event. - Meet outside Saradomin GWD boss door (get kill count before the start of event to be ready to enter). The Boss Saradomin GWD. Coinshare will be active. The best spot to get kill count is by killing any Saradomin follower, such as Mages, Warriors, Knights, and Priests in the main area near the entrance. Alternately you can enter the Saradomin encampment and get KC there. Note that any monsters attacked will target you (unlike before the EoC when they would stay in combat with any NPC's they were attacking). For this reason you may need some food/prayer while getting KC. Please note that if you die during the events TMHT members will bless your grave, but we cannot accept responsibilty for any items lost. Please do not take any items that you are not willing to lose! Inventory & Equipment As she no longer has a specific weakness, feel free to hack at her with your favorite style! Requirements 60 Agility or Strength is required to access the God Wars Dungeon. 70 Agility is required to enter the Saradomin Encampment. 40 kill count is needed to enter the Boss room. Saradomin item (Optional: and Zamorak) while getting kill count Tactics A Saradomin item is ESSENTIAL whilst getting kill count in the Saradomin area! A Zamorak item is also recommended for complete safety in the area. She attacks with Melee and Magic, both of which can hit very hard and very fast. Her magic attack will hit everyone in the room. Use soulsplit if you have it. Otherwise, use whatever protection prayer will help most with your style of combat (for instance, if you are maging you have good defence against melee but are weak to ranged, so use protect ranged). Use regenerate/rejuvenate to funnel your adrenaline into your health after the kill. If maging, please do not use blood spells, as she will now be enraged and grow stronger. Friend Chat Ranks The Main host will be the Chat owner, or will have a Gold Star in the chat. Silver stars are CO HOSTS. Bronze Stars are other TMHT members. Please note all three of these ranks will have the ability to kick members from chats, should we need to. If you need assistance, feel free to Private message a Host/Co-host, or ask in the chat. TMHT Corporeal Beast Trip Coinshare Date/Time: Saturday July 27th 6 pm GMT 7 pm BST 2 pm EDT 1 pm CDT 12 pm MDT 11 am PDT 4 am AUS (on the 28th) [pending]tur_1374948000[/pending] Host / Chat Channel: The host (and friends chat channel) for this event is Levells. The Corporeal Beast This monstrous creature is one of the strongest bosses in Runescape and is only accessible after completing the "Spirit of Summer" and "Summer's End" quests. He can hit very hard and has a very high amount of lifepoints, so is not to be underestimated. We suggest that you have combat levels of 80+, but lower levels are free to come if you care to risk it! Coinshare will be on for this event, so if we're lucky enough to get a sigil drop the value will be split between those in the room. Equipment/Strategy: The easiest way by far of getting to the beast's lair is using a games necklace. This will teleport you into the first room of his lair - he is in the final room. This avoids having to run through the wilderness to get to the lair. The Corporeal Beast has no official weakness, and thus you may bring any of the three attack styles as long as all your gear is of the same style (for instance, don't try and melee in mage gear, or range in melee gear). If ranging or maging, we ask that you bring the best weapon and ammo/runes you can. If using melee you should use a spear, as non-spear weapons have their damage halved against the corp. As far as your armor goes, wear whatever you're willing to risk losing (as long as it matches your attack style!). When you die inside the lair you WILL NOT GET A GRAVE. Instead, all your items (except those kept on death) will drop to the floor, visible only to you for a few minutes. Make sure you have a stock of games necklaces in your bank so that you can quickly teleport back to the lair to retrieve your stuff if you die! More Information Note that completion of "Summer's End" is required to access the Corporeal Beast. The Main host will be the Chat owner, or will have a Gold Star in the chat.   10. Has anyone tried playing around with this yet? It says "certain weapons"....so does that mean I can use momentum with royal bolts with my ccb/runecb combo now or is it restricted to unique (read:useless/obscure) weapons? And if that's the case, does it count as rune bolts for both or just the offhand's ammo? Quest was ok, rewards are pretty crappy though. Kinda expected more out of the familiars, and bacon is just annoying to deal with due to that stacking. Will say that I like the pie, a +5 to farm/summ is pretty nice. Too bad I already leveled enough to be able to use stranger plant/garden pie for anything I need now.

    I've had to recharge my ring several times due to forgetting to protect it -_- Ive had several instances where there's a long dry spell on drops.
  12. Offhand don't affect dps for range. You can have a ccb+runecb with royal bolts and do just as well as dual ccbs. You won't be able to momentum. You need to keep constantly using abilities because if the offhand goes to fire, you'll get a chat box warning that your weapon isn't strong enough for the ammo and will stop attacking.

  14. Yeah, a little while back. They did that, tweaked a few things to make her tougher, and anyone using blood spells will be ripped to shreds.

  16. If you make an arrogant post without a full understanding of everything, you're doing something wrong. As mentioned, there is a guide for high ranged xp posted on here. It uses chins in the abyss. Cbb to copy the link from my phone. Best bet might be full Arma, but I don't know. I retired my void sets with the last few updates.
  17. They removed her water weakness on normal mode, she's still water weak on hard? Just wondering.
  18. I'd stick w/ full obsidian. You survive well in that, even with being blasted by the mages. I've been paying for the damage reduction buff as well, since I've been stacking tokkul from my karamja tasks. The helm gives a 10% accuracy, so I would say that is mandatory. Turmoil, ovls, and drygores, and you can clear everything. Yes, you do miss a bit on the mages, but nothing too horrible. Max hits are lower on them but you can still take them out without too much issue. The xp drops on the large mage is something like ~8.8k (~6.6k in combat stat) so it makes up for taking slightly longer. Even at a minimum, as long as you have drygores, I'd expect Cauldron to be better melee xp than pretty much anything. And it's really nice when you get challenged by Har-Arken because you'll get a 20k xp lamp for any combat skill +prayer/slayer/summ/herb. He seems quite easy now, just remember kick and destroy stun and you shouldn't have much of a problem with him. If you're looking for an invy setup, I take in 40 minutes of renewals/ovls, 6-8 prayer flasks (depends if you leave it on while not attacking b/c of the floor) and ~10-12 rocktails. Might need to adjust as you learn and dodge the floor, but it's worth it.
  19. A few options: If you have super-antifires you can use the 2h staffs for magic. Otherwise you can use a wand, Virtus Wand being the best currently(until this weeks update at least). I think the weakness of Iron Dragons though is bolts, so if you wanted to range them that would be an option as well. They attack with magic now so the ranged gear would add extra defence if that's important to you. Iron dragons are weak to water spells. Wands are the 1 handed option now. If you want to use one, I'm not sure if grifolic is accurate enough, you might want to look at wand of treachery. Also, you will lose a small chunk of accuracy with an antifire shield, since it's melee based. If you don't have super antifires, advice is to either get them or you just use a staff and normal antifire, standing in melee distance with protect from magic on. Before the accuracy updates, this was far superior to using a low level wand. Now that stats increase accuracy, I'm not sure if there is a clear winner.
  20. Range used to be waterfiends or dark beasts (but you don't have the slayer level). If you can, Fight Cauldron is incredible for melee, at anywhere between 400-500k+/hr in max gear.
  21. This was changed. EE is now a lvl 72 offhand.
  22. Most will likely say melee is better. Only exception would be if you have a different stat at a significantly higher level. That being said, I personally range and I have a staff swap for those annoying 198 meleers I wouldn't hit much on otherwise (not sure how necessary the staff becomes with ssb). I like that I can kill most things from a distance, frag shot easily triples damage and I can run to different parts of the room without sacrificing damage.
