  1. Virtus robe top - 5.7m followed directly after by zaryte bow :) - 10m There was also a virtus glove drop I wasn't there for - 3m Lasted around 4 hours, with plenty of deaths :P
  2. I duo a fair bit, both of us in Tetsu. Very rarely do we have her siphon again. It's not just the thresholds. You need to be conscious of your rotation as well. Sever and Kick are the highest hitting basics and you can also interrupt Assault early and have the damage show up. As soon as she calls a sacrifice - Run. She heals a decent bit off this, and when it happens, that's usually when we get that extra siphon. Whether or not you're doing this already, I don't know. If you are, then I have no idea why you're not getting past blood. As for a shield, I always have one in my invy. I tank Zaros phase always and my partner melees/ranges. I only pull it out on ice phase if he got hit badly and I need to pull her off and solo a prison or 2. Tanking on Zaros is convenient because I cut down on a lot of her healing and use very little food, so I can share with my partner. I feel the tradeoff on a slightly longer kill is worth the fact that we can stay more kills overall. Other than that, you always want to dual wield. I've got nothing to say about soloing as I never did it, and I don't think my partner has managed to since some of the recent reworks.

    I already wiki'd the blue shields and mentioned the loss in my previous post. Wiki does not offer items or xp/hr in most cases. I already checked the spreadsheet. Some things are fine in theory but do not work out in reality. Cutting onyx looks like an incredible method of training, yet odds are that it will sell for much less than the med price, creating a large disparity in the expected gp/xp. That is why I'm asking on the practicality of headresses and seeing if perhaps there is something not on the spreadsheets that might work.

    Already do. He only has dhide bodies. I asked about headresses based on them as well. Your point? As for warbands, I'll try to look them up when I can remember to. I did do some prior to the recent changes.

    Any particular reason you say blue dhide shields? The buy limit on dhide is quite nice, but the loss is about 4 times greater, around 100m... Any idea how many items or xp/hour I could get with them, to weigh the cost/time saved?

    I've got an idea of the methods and xp/hr for several skills, but I wanted to check and see if there were any alternatives and get some clarification on a few things. I am aiming for efficiency. Woodcutting - arctic pines w/ adze/urns/scrimshaw + full lumberjack (~110k/hr) Fishing - c2, fish flingers (~80k/hr) Firemaking - some xp from arctic pines. Rest from book of char, training cave, circus. Worth it to do curly roots w/ adze before 99 wc? Crafting - water battlestaffs currently, staffs bought daily and from ge. A friend put in an offer for me as well. Any other methods that are close in loss that are viable? I know headresses offer similar gp/xp, but is it worth doing or do they not sell (making it more loss)? (~200k/hr) Smithing - a few levels from superheating w/ goldsmith gaunts @ con.gold, the rest @ artisan's, addy burial 3 (~250k/hr) Mining - 4% from mining suit, lava titan/scrimshaw/qh/urns (~100-110k/hr) Agility - lamps/pendants, effigies, jot.....barb course for rocks, hope for challenges, circus, troll invasion, pengs (~65k/hr) Is there any other source of xp I could possibly use on this? Thieving - pp or dwarf traders? I don't have a Sotg and haven't done a run to estimate xp/hr yet. Tried traders and went through so many repairs on my gloves of silence in such a short time.... (pp ~150-180k/hr) Runecrafting - camp the island w/ 2 soul esswraiths and siphon any node? or better to hop between certain islands? (~90k/hr) As for the scrimshaws, I did buy 1 of each for mining/wc right now. I'll be focusing on making them as soon as I finish cruelty (half there), so it will be a slightly higher bonus in time, if that helps any.
  8. An hour in, we get some loot :) Bit over half an hour later, boots this time A bit over 4 hours later, it's finally died down. ~2.4m in splits for those who were there for both.

  10. He smashes me anywhere from 1-3 times per kill, using soulsplit. It hits ~2300-3800. You definitely need food now, and lower levels can't camp him like before. I stayed for 2 hours and still had plenty of supplies, but I'm near maxed and was using drygore/tetsu/seasinger/virtus gear. You go through prayer like nothing, though. My usual amount of restores didn't even come close. Thankfully he kept dropping restores, and the food drops are fairly consistent.
  11. What are the ideal/max-dps binds now? Still anything 2h like primal maul/ccs/ssb or is dw superior for range? I know magic is limited because of the damage cap, so I'll assume just stick with my bound staff. I primarily range and figured tonight would be as good as any to bind hunt. Also have ssh bound, worth keeping/using or no? I'm on the lookout for a blood necklace... Is binding/using t99 legs better than t90 body? Thanks in advance.
  12. I haven't been on the forums in a few days, so did they make it so the ascbow can fire lower level bolts? Otherwise, it would have to be dual ascension.

  14. Drops were hot fixed. I'm hearing high crimson charm drop rates, and noted items including Addy bars. Boss drops, only heard 10 avantoe instead of 5. Anyone else hearing anything?

  16. They're that much faster? Well, then I must be doing something wrong because I clocked mine at 126k/hour @ 90 with full witch doctor and the enhanced stick.
  17. Keepsake keys confirmed to be the same as current keys/overrides: only 1 per slot and only works on similar items. Guess there goes my thoughts on keepsaking primal longs since I use maces...

The Temple Trekking mage's staff no longer has two orbs. A cutscene in the Prisoner of Glouphrie quest now displays trees with canopies. The Varrock Leprechaun has found his pan pipes again. Toktz-xil-ak now sits in the correct slot when sheathed. Lowe in the Varrock archery shop no longer wears out of date hard leather armour.   19. Iirc, something like 60-80k/hr at Grenwalls, but I might be off. It's more for money than xp, and even that I'm not so sure on these days. Dragonics go from 80-120k or so. Grenwalls require the bait, no way around it.
  20. What weapon were you using for ranged?
  21. Normally, I do fish flingers and c2, but those require a bit of attention and I'm looking for something more afk-able. I know cavefish are better than monks, but at 90, are rocktails any good? I know they're extremely slow, but does the bigger xp drop make up for it at all? Perhaps a combination of both?
  22. Cows are good to train on and can get you a little bit of money as well. Unless things changed, they were considered some of the fastest low level training.
  23. On normal mode, instancing changes nothing. Hard mode, being much much harder, gives some better 'basic' drops. Examples include 80k coins or ~20+ infernal ashes (something I saw while testing Zammy). Don't bother w/ hard. Even a trio doesn't get many kills in (although I don't know what they were using). Drop rates of the rare items don't change, so it's pure supply drain for not enough added benefits.
