  1. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Divine_simulacrum_I This and II (at 86+) can be a nice little boost to xp as well.
  2. Since ages ago? Believe you only need to feed kittens/cats...I've never fed a single pet
  3. I had this in for 20k for a few days....decided to instasell it....
  4. ins cruelty 896,641 ins elements 940,707 nis vampyrism 842,898 (<2 min wait)
  5. For p4, you can use Deadshot at ~26k lp or (better to do) use Swiftness around 50k and then use Unload while still under swift. Dodging the acid is just moving a square or 2, don't panic run - let it hit you once and then move.
  6. If I remember my old bossing trips right, I think the best Def combo was a Verac Top and then a 3 way tie for legs since they shared stats: torag/guthan/dharok. I went w/ torag bc it was cheaper. Correct me if I'm wrong, it has been years.
  7. It's kind of being mentioned across threads, but I'll post it here. Can we get some actual combat level to skill level numbers here? People are saying "oh, that's too high/hard to do for someone of x combat level", so now I'm curious. cmb levels for Soul Reaper assignments: Mole, kbd: 50 Barrows, Chaos ele, Kq, jad: 60 Corp, dks: 70 Gwd, qbd: 80 Kiln: 90 Kk, legiones: 100 Nex: 110 Araxxor, Rots, vorago: 120
  8. I will get back to you but at the very least Vorago, ROTS, Nex, Dagannoth Kings, Kalphite King. I can help with DKs but then that was back when you would slayer dart Rex... I still need Rots as well. Nex and KK I can help with easily. DKs, you only need 1 of them, so you don't even have to tribrid if you want just the title. If you want to stick around and get more loot, then sure :p Rago I can't do much for you, other than mention Charles, Rago Pvm fcs. I've only gone in a mass myself.
  9. I read forums on my phone more often than not, so first page is slightly harder to go by. I wouldn't mind helping people, what ones do you need? Edit: suppose would also depend on Timezones lol. Atm I get on a little after reset for a few hours, with maybe an hour in the morning, est. Changing hours at work next week though.
  10. @Sy Minute edge? Did they actually change them, then? AFAIK, they removed the cit bonus when things changed to strength bonuses and never gave Claws or korasi's anything to compensate. Claws are better if you ever intend to boss or upgrade to drygores. Spear and Maul also cost the same amount of tokens as well.
  11. But then we won't look as pretty in particles as we skill! /s Only skilling I do is whatever combat xp I get from bossing. On the topic of leeching, apparently there's a chat that's 10m. Might need to lower your price :p As far as group bosses go, there are things I dislike. I don't mind them in the case of Kk, Nex, where someone can pull their weight regardless of the others, but when it comes to Vorago and Rots, where someone screwing up either directly hurts/kills you (Rago reflect) or severely hinders how well you do (getting piled by all 6 brothers when the other side dies and then consequently dying). There's a reason I enjoy nex/kk and have stayed away from the others. My attempts at Rago to learn it through the mass resulted in more deaths than success. Why? Killed on reflect. Hence I gave up for a few months. I know death is inevitable while learning, but everyone has their limit. There's only so much stupidity and incompetence causing my deaths that I can handle at a time.
  12. Teachingrots and riseofthe6, in addition to Charles are all learning fcs for rots; they don't always host teaching kills though, they like doing some normal ones too. I'm kind of hopping between all of them. Did some attempts w/ one of them but the other side kept failing. I want 1 for comp ofc, but it is a boss I've wanted to learn, and title chasing is another bonus.
  13. Comp: song in office, Reaper title from killing 1 of everything listed Trim: everything on the Loot Beam page: beam, extra tasks, bonfire hp length boost, reduced instances
  14. Base points, xp, and number assigned are all listed here http://services.runescape.com/m=rswiki/en/Soul_Reaper Points are from tasks only Considering you only need an xp drop (excluding Barrows), all you have to do is smack it and not die. Join a mass or make your own, hire a friend and say you'll split loot 60:40 or something. They kinda make it easy for you...
  15. Single style kilns take ~35-40 mins, can probably do 25-30 min kilns w/ tribrid. But you're right, still not worth it :p Especially with how many are going to come in the game with people focusing on it...Alch price?
  16. 10 spectral shards and 17 arcane shards Not bad loot, had quite a few cball+onyx drops
  17. Players can obtain spirit gems from any monsters who drops a single summoning charm. - http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Spirit_gems If a monster drops an item from the "rare drop table", and the player belongs to a clan, there will also be Anagogic orts dropped alongside it. - http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Rare_drop_table So really, it just comes down to not mentioning charms.
  18. Offhand death Lotus Darts would be better than a crossbow. I tested that myself. I'm not sure where the limit is though, for all I know Blisterwood could be a better offhand as well. Take advantage of your distance and use frag, ricochet, snapshot, and bombard to your advantage when tagging the other pillars. When I use swiftness is somewhat negligible, imo. First phase is fine but I like using it slightly into p2, and then running back to use another threshold for p3. No matter what style, take advantage of using freedom/anti while running. Provoke would also work but in limited range. I've never been on task, fastest range kill is 1:43 with most hovering on the 1:50-2 range. Still not using full pernix yet. I've a mix of pernix, dl, and Arma. Don't be afraid to use tendrils with range either, it hurts but I find I still make up for it just fine. It makes up a large portion of damage, even if you can only use it 1-2 times per kill.
  19. Unless/until you really understand the best way to use melee at qbd, range is easier and much more sustainable. Melee can result in faster kills but at the cost of supplies used/trip length and has a higher learning curve. I personally love range there and recommend it to everyone who can use dbane. As far as royal vs drygores goes, I think it depends on your experience. I've heard people who switched say everything from it was slower, to that it was the same speed or faster than with drygores. Artisan's workshop is where you make the item he tells you to. A full load takes ~4.something minutes, almost 5, I think (It's been many months since I was there). You get an xp bonus if you make the right item but it changes about every 3-4 you make, if memory serves. So yes, if you just make any random item, 200k/hr sounds about right. I think doing it perfectly is anywhere from 225-250k?
  20. Maul is trim still. You just need an xp drop from the boss for it to count, so you can mass anything. The Armor is very much cosmetic.
  21. It has no association with slayer. At all. That's probably yet another reason why they changed the name to Soul Reaper. It's handled like slayer in that there is a master and a task given, but you can only do 1-2 tasks a day so it's more like a new bossing daily. All of the rewards are intended for pvmers, from what I listed above to also the temporary rewards like the combat aura refresh, and the reduced degrade on next death. They do allow Slayer to bleed into this in that some rewards can be bought with slayer points but the amount is very small and the prices ridiculous. I realize I'm explaining the basic idea of it like you don't know because I don't know if you had your hopes up from the original Boss Slayer name or just didn't realize the rewards like that were for high-end pvmers, not casual slayers.
  22. Just watched the stream, so here's some numbers for everyone. Armor set: 2500 total, 50 of each (gloves, boots, legs, chest, helm is the order) "Final Boss" ___ Title: 5000 total, 100 of each (20 different bosses) Points are in Reaper/Slayer form, if available Hydrix - 400 pts - said to take a month to obtain, turns to dust in 10 hours Rainbow loot beam - 75/750 Extra tasks - 150 Bonfire boost - 250/2500 Instance reduced - 250 Amulet - 46 damage all + 5 pray - SS has a chance to heal 25-50% more [dg necklaces are 44 damage per class, no prayer] Bracelet - 14 damage all + 3 pray [90 gloves are 14 damage per class, with armor, + 2 pray] Necklace - 30 damage all + 3 pray [fury is 32 damage all + 3 pray] Ring - 25 damage all + 3 pray [6th age is 12 armor, 21 damage all, no pray] Ascendri bolts (e) 902 damage - spec gives 15 seconds of +1% adrenaline per attack. Can be refreshed while active (cycling, not additive) crafts into 36 tips (4.3% stronger than asc bolts) That allows for 8 attacks during the time frame, if it only procs once. Brings up the question of if "per attack" would count multiple times for abilities like frag shot and snap shot, which hit several times. The necklace has lower stats than a fury, and based on the amulet, it's passive will probably be incredibly powerful to make up for it.
  23. There was a rumor going around on reddit a while ago that Mod Mark said in his fc all ideas for inventor were scrapped and to wait for Runefest to find out more. While there was no screenie to back things up, I think it's as good a guess as any that things have changed. Sucks Runefest is still a ways away.
  24. - Corporeal Beast (COINSHARE) - Time and Date Date: Saturday August 16th GMT (Greenwich Mean Time): 6pm U.S. (Eastern): 2pm U.S. (Central): 1pm U.S. (Mountain): 12pm U.S. (Pacific): 11am [pending]gre_1408212000[/pending] Server and Location - We will gather outside of the Corporeal Beast lair, world will be announced right before we start. Friends Chat: Levells ~~ This event will be CS (CoinShare) ~~ The Boss - The Corporeal Beast is the physical incarnation of the Spirit Beast, and is a very powerful boss monster. With a combat level of 785, it is one of the highest-leveled monsters in the game, tied with the God Wars Dungeon generals. However, the Corporeal Beast possesses a number of formidable abilities that distinguish it from other monsters of its level. It has very high accuracy, damage, and defense for its levels; it can devour Summoning familiars & it has damage reduction against nearly all sources of damage. Please Note: Gravestones do not appear inside the Corporeal Beast's lair. Items that are dropped on death become visible to other players after 3.5 minutes and disappear after 1 more minute. Inventory & Equipment - The most commonly used & accepted method of taking down the Corporeal Beast is with melee. Damage dealt is halved when using anything other than a spear, so the Chaotic, Zamorakian or Guthan's spears are highly recommended. Mage & Range can be used but melee is preferred. - Melee Setup - Gear + Inventory: * Please note the setup shown is just an example, but it's recommended to have gear that's level 70+ Please DO NOT bring any familiars, the Corporeal Beast will eat them whole. :) Recommended stats are; 70+ in Attack, Strength, Defence & Constitution. Overloads help, SoulSplit too, but they aren't a must. Requirements Completion of Summers' End quest.
  25. You can also get them as drops in the Fight Cauldron. I was surprised to get one as a drop today as I didn't know that was a possible drop. I'm sure the drop rate is too low for it to have a significant effect on the amount of onyxes/onyx gear in game I believe they're also an extremely rare item from the daily lost items? (Carpet man by Shanty after desert something tasks)
