*wave* Just wandering what the community thinks makes a good game.. I beleive that the most important thing in a video game is gameplay. I hate to play the same shoot-em-ups with the same ideas over and over again. I also beleive that graphics play an important part in the gaming business, Afterall you wouldnt want to pay ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã40 for a new xbox 360 game with the graphics of runescape.(no offence to runescape ^^) Sure, everyone is looking out for games with good graphics(to play on there new 00berwtfpwn HD-TV 8-) ) But with a crap gameplay/storyline no-one will buy it..

Haha yea, i installed it just yesterday just to enjoy the semi 'old school' command and conquer games :P Still love everything about it to this day! :P

Or you could wait for Empire Earth 3 to come out? Scheduled for Autumn 2007 :thumbsup:

EE3 is comming out soon i beleive, and i should be getting command and conquer - Tiberian wars soon *yay* This topic doesnt have much discussion value eh?

Hey! I love RTS's, I don't know what it is about them, I just love 'em. But they are getting a bit old.. Can you reccomend any good RTS's? (Old or New) What ones do you own? Which is your favourite? I myself, reccomend Command and Conquer 3 for the P.C, NOT for the xbox, as it is hard to control and i think the UI(user interface) looks cack. (yes I've played the demo) I own most of the Command + Conquer series aswell as Dawn of War + Dawn of War: Dark crusade. I also have Warcraft III and TFT and Empire Earth 1(lost disk :cry: ) and the expansion. I must say my favourite RTS's are the Command and Conquer series(especially red alert 2) aswell as the Dawn of War series(I love the risk based campaign) Also, I was just wondering, is there any popular freeware RTS's? If so can you reccomend any?

If you have nothing constructive to say then please GTFO and grow up. My advice - Look through the Wow-europe site at the races, classes and the professions. If you like to do a lot of PvP then go horde. Firstly because they have better pvp racials(so people say..) and secondly, they win battlegrounds 99% of the time. For starting out i would go for a hunter as it is a nice easy class to play... especially when you get your pet, you can solo quests that people your level cant. k I got a couple. I was playing football(soccer) and it went into this lil place... I got the ball, and I didnt realise there was logs + rocks under my feet, I stepped on one awkwardly and twisted my ankle (aww he twisted his ankle poor ickle bwaddy) and fell right into a massive bush of stinging nettles. I had them little blister rash things all up both of my arms, up my body and down both of my legs... Next time ill try not to boot the ball into a bush =/ Next - I was having a fight at school and I swung for this kids face, missed, and hit a bookcase. Yea, the bookcase, So basicly I hit the book case and peeled back about 2 inches of skin on my index finger... it was bleeding so bad like every second more would just pulse out... So i got rushed to hospital and had stitches... The kid was bragging about him beating me up and 'busting him open' but ill get him back :twisted: Last - Riding down to my friends house on my bike, all of a sudden my back tire fell down a ditch and started sliding across the little kerb part untill my bike just skidded away from meh and I went sliding accros the path. As I got up I looked at my wrist... Lets just say it wasn't bending the right way =/ And thats 'bout it

What games do you prefer and why? To be honest i prefer the retro games because they are actually a lot harder, mainly because of the fact that you couldnt save games on retro consoles(most anyways) At least the retro games where original, all todays games are the same. Lets go round and batter the heck out of aliens to save the day... The only way the modern games will ever 'out do' the retro games is in graphics...

Gears of War Xbox Live. Two words explain it really: Torque Bow(sp) It was on rooftops, and I was getting bored of them camping with 'teh uba hammer of dawn' so I grabbed the the torque fired at their base... turns out I stuck one of them and he ran into 2 of his mates... 3 kills, one grenade. XD
