New Skill Idea (Tell me what you think)
So what would be their point?

Expectations?
I agree. When you die in Runescape, a hand should pop out of your computer screen, punch you in the face, steal your wallet, and everything in your house except your three most valuable items (house counts as one). Pfft, kids and your tame video games today.

Huge update late this month or early next?
Meanwhile in the Jagex offices... Andrew: Hi everyone. I just got into work, the rain was horrible- Player: Omg! Rain, there'll be weather in runescape! Andrew: He's still here? Paul: Yep, since last night. He's been pointing at everything in the office and claiming it's a clue to a game update. Andrew: So why haven't you called the police? Paul: He just grabbed the phone and claimed that electricity would soon be discovered, as well as coffee and donuts. Andrew: Well let's just sit down and start discussing the upcoming weeks. Player: OMG, SITTING. Sitting starts with S, so does Summoning! So does Skill! New Skill, NEW SKILL!!!! Andrew: He's really grasping, isn't he? Paul: Yep. He's been here a good 24 hours, and he hasn't stopped talking. He's bound to run out of creative connections eventually. Jagex should really get security.

What is this? A Rs dog?
So it looks as if this was a joke then :( too bad, I really wanted a bulldog too :( If you watch that ad then you will see what the message seems to actually be. The people who work on the knowledge base make notes on 3 things. 1. Magic 2. Playing gnomeball 3. A cat turning into a hellcat Then it tells you to look up Bulldog in the kb. To me that is saying that they are working on a magic update, a gnomeball update and the dog update (in relation to the cat in the ad). Or it could be portraying the different ways that Jagex fits different out-of-game aspects into the game itself. In this case, the Knowledge Base is written by a company in Gielnor, that sends researchers to every part of Runescape to find out how things work (hell cats, gnomeball, and magic in this case) and it is all compiled on an easy to access platform. You're stretching speculation a bit too far. None of the other things they've shown were new, except for the bulldog page.

Noobs say the funniest things!
Ahh, it's so easy to get cold feet before marrying someone you just met two seconds ago over the internet.

Woa, people gone mad?!?!
...which is (being done at who's house)?
-
Woa, people gone mad?!?!
You haven't answered the question though, what world and where? I've got a cookie with your name on it if you tell me.
-
Woa, people gone mad?!?!
Yes that's RSC, with barrows and painted armor. Edit: So any information on that world and place?

Woa, people gone mad?!?!
What world is this in, and where!

pures and gold farmers same !?!?!??!
It's true. Pure Pkers don't sell their pked money for real life cash. It's the pure stakers that do that. I don't mind though, they don't affect me other than the entertainment of seeing the "OMG I GOT B& 4 NUTIN"

Playerkilling Autos? (And NOT in the Wilderness.)
Here's an idea: Jagex can detect altered clients, so why not have all altered clients be flagged as autoers and be pk-able.

What did you manage to achieve today?
I managed 74 fletching, 73 mage, and made about 500k with the yew bows that I fletched and alched.

Hiscores.
~3000 people got banned and not many people have logged in/out who are now elligible for the hiscores that weren't before. That doesn't really seem to be a lot. I'm guessing it was mainly members autoers because they seem to be nonexistant right now while f2p autoers are still just as plenty as ever. Who knows, maybe Jagex has made it harder for them to pay.

Hiscores.
Did anyone else notice that most of the skills on the high scores that once went all the way to 1,000,000 now stop at around 997,000?

About luring.. (not too serious thread)
Puns like this stopped being funny about the tenth time someone posted "lolz Im hacking r00nscape!" with a picture of them cutting a tree or hitting a player with their weapon set to "hack"

Change the Pin System
Not completely true. For the trojans that take screenshots of your mouse clicks, you could make it so on the pin screen, all of the numbers disappear when you click. That'd stop hackers from (at the very least) getting your pin. Edit: I'm not even going to mention credit cards and information like that, because it's on a completely different and higher plane of importance compared to a runescape password.

Is scamming scammers acceptable?
I have no problem scamming scammers, as most of them are not very bright. The way I see it: If you're going to scam me, I expect you to do it like it's done in real life, with a big smile on your face and more cleverly. I don't consider it scamming, I just call it payment for them taking up my time :-w .

Contacting JAGeX?
A fried of mine logged into runescape after a while of inactivity to find that he had 30 days of membership, non recurring (wow, it had just been added on). He was like level 30, but could smith mithril, and had like 100k, and none of his items were missing. The password wasn't changed, nor was the recovery items. So he just played out the 30 days, nothing's happened to this day. He still logs in every now and then to see if the Runescape Fairy left him another month's worth :-w .

The museum

Show total XP when mouse over total level
Or if you read the actual suggestion, it could be a pop up when mousing over the total level bar. Idiot. I support. Thank you for your totally baseless personal attacks! Take it elsewhere if you need an ego-boost. If you had understood the first ten syllables of my post, you would see that I was saying that it was going to be too big for just a popup when you mouseover the total level. To big for just a popup? I did this in 5 minutes with mspaint, using the maximum xp a player can obtain (23 skills X 200mil max = 4.6bil), and had no problem fitting it. Here you go: Edit: And the font, to boot, is actually bigger than the font that Jagex uses. So it'd be even smaller. My original point stands. You're an idiot. Try having some kind of backup that it'd be too big before shooting your mouth of like, again, an idiot.
