Luckily: "At Runefest 2011, it was confirmed Prifddinas would be released along the yet to be subtitled Mourning's Ends Part III, which will be released in 2012 or 2013." I'd say you must be new here, but your join date gives it away. Anyway, ring of wealth works fine. You just need to learn how the RuneScape drop table works. Think of it like two roulette wheels. When you kill a monster, it spins the first wheel which gives you your drop. For most monsters, some slots also trigger the second wheel which carries the more rare drops. When the ring of wealth "shines brightly", that is when the second wheel spins. The ring of wealth doesn't give you a better chance on the first wheel, but rather if the second wheel spins, the ROW gives you a better chance of getting an item from the second wheel.

It's a reminder of how shite Jagex's server technology is. Two thousand maximum, and you can't really go too close to that number otherwise the server just falls to crap for everyone.

I think it's also likely that people are setting up shop with thousands of bots running at a time and when Jagex sniffs out enough of them they're able to determine what other accounts are part of the operation and throw them out all at once. Also if they do it slowly people would just point to the slowly dwindling accounts on the high scores and say "see? I told you Jagex is losing customers."
