The people against gambling are either the ones who didn't know when to stop and got cleaned or the ones who've never tried it. How can Jagex say don't gamble and yet support the duel arena and other methods? Jagex has said not to participate in these because they allow for too many scams.

The bouncers at the Luxor are a lot more violent than Jagex when they catch you, not that I'd have experience setting up an illegitimate dicing ring on the second floor men's bathroom by the poker tables on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4pm.

THIS Did they forget that Pmods existed or something? Easier than that. Add in rule: Gambling. With right click reporting, getting rid of these people has never been easier.

Don't count your chickens before they've dropped Draconic Visages. People went nuts when the Dragon Chain was added to the Dust Devil drop table, but Jagex offset the ease of killing Dust Devils by giving it a dramatically lower drop rate.

It depends entirely on the situation. For instance on my last slayer task I had to kill blue dragons, which I always do in the Heroes Guild which is a competitive spot. On the other hand, I'm now killing Kalphite Guardians (141) at the spot outside of the Kalphite Queen lair, so in the two times I've seen someone there on this task, I just hop worlds. I make sure not to act like an ass if I knock someone off of the world.

Not saying that you should kill yourself, but I agree with him. People need to stop taking it so personally when someone takes their spot. I get knocked out of training spots all the time, the game is designed for players to fight over scarce and valuable resources, and Jagex mods have said either compete or leave, but don't stand there and whine.

I've always wanted to experiment by setting up a sipping bird with my mouse and thousands of runes and noted bows and see if it would trigger Jagex's system.

Had a task to kill blue dragons for slayer, so I went to the spot in the Heroes guild because I also track my slayer kills and drops (here), so the Heroes guild is close enough to a bank for my cheap ass to run back and forth, while the killing area guarantees me down time to record each drop. I was at the Heroes guild on Saturday, on Christmas Eve at 9pm EST, every server had someone in it. So I do what I always do: When you come in to find the land is taken, you take that land. That's what my viking ancestors would have said, if I had any. So after skipping around servers for ten minutes or so, my Nordic ancestry kicked in and I set to work. Keep in mind I had not typed anything, no emotes, etc. The whole time the guy is demanding that I hop, and the couple of times he gets the dragon he goes "lol." Him: Lol, ur not gonna give up, r u *After I grab another dragon* Him: Lol ur a jerk Him: Im sick of people like you just [bleep]in kill urself. *he logs off*

The great irony is: In terms of a 100% online, no big download, no installer, no disc game Runescape has always been MILLLLLLLEEEES ahead in graphics. But it does give me pleasure to see rs graphics looking nicer than the blocky edged WoW graphics everyone used to throw up as an example of better graphics. Obv rs is still block in some ways, but they have worked that limitation into the graphical style so it looks intentional where as WoW just looks like erm yeah we decided to just use 5 polygons to make this 8 story tree house so please ignore the giant pointy corners that don't look very tree-like Yea. As far as Java games go, Runescape has always been on the leading edge in terms of pushing the engine as far as it can go.

They did drop loot, just not as good loot as they do now. I used to kill them for fun when I ran across them, I don't remember them dropping anything worth picking up, at least? Kinda fuzzy on it, obviously. The point remains unchanged unless they dropped way more than I'm thinking, though. I know for certain that they could drop things like dragon daggers, rune stuff and some other valuable stuff too, but those were all so rare that they weren't worth it (also not that with jessica's ring you would increase the loot of the revenants back then too) Yea, they dropped loot except Jagex wanted players to run away so they made the drop rates so low that they weren't worth killing.

I don't think the purchase of Membership Cards should be considered "Tiered" at all. I pay for my membership with cards as it is cheaper for me to do so. How is it not tiered? Some members are allowed to gain items that other members aren't, based on how they paid for membership. Promotions don't count as a new tiers of membership.
