Lack of summoning tab
I was thinking that the tools would fill in the space the summoning tab left. Now that that's not the case; question still remains as to what's going in that tab. :ohnoes:

What a dull game
I work right next to a Starbucks and naturally I've become an addict to said foofy drinks (I spend maybe 100 bucks a month on Starbucks) because they kept bringing me free samples when they first opened. Well I do have a group of fans and foes that can't be let down.

Regular coffee isn't over-inflated at Starbucks, you can get a pretty big cup for under 2 bucks. It's the foofy drinks that cost way too much. I can get a medium ice-cap for 2.99 at Tim Hortons. Sure, I can make it myself for cheaper, but it won't have the heroin laced cream that Timmy [garden tool]'s uses.

What a dull game
WoW attempts to appeal to as many as humanly possible, and as a result it's been slowly dumbed down and made easier over the years.

What a dull game
Warcraft has thousands of pages of lore and history. World of Warcraft took that lore and murdered it, then held its corpse for all to see.

What do you do? Borrowers who can't wield.
My motto is that lending is encouraging more reckless behavior in Runescape. Before lending, you'd sure as hell check an item before you bought it, to make sure there wasn't some obvious or obscure requirement to use it. Now, people just plop down 60k for a couple hours on a whip, then cry because they can't wield it. Actually, this gives me an idea. See you at the Tip.It Times!

I don't lend out my items. No lending = no whining.

13th July 2009 - Incomm cards available at Rite-Aid/Wal-Mart
No. They would kill a great amount of subscribers who don't want to pay more.

Good for people without a credit card, or a Target/7-11.

10th July 2009 - The Jagex Anti-Hijack System and DevBlog
All MMO's evolve to face current issues. Jagex even admitted that the system used in the wilderness pvp was an obsolete one, albeit one they brought back in various fashions as mini-games because of player support. Accounts were always bought. More so: you can still pay with a credit card and Jagex is still in business. So there. Discussion on the 2007 updates went spoiled in early 2008. Your opinion. Doesn't make it correct. Life's not fair. Is it fair that kids who pay by RS cards have to pay 3 bucks more than someone paying by credit card? No, but too bad. If this tiny amount of bankspace really makes or breaks someone, knowing someone else has it, playing Runescape, then maybe they're not ready to start using the internet or converse with real people.

11-July-2009 Jagex Security Key Response
That's like saying if someone tries to steal your credit card, they'll easily be able to get a new one shipped to the theif's address just because he provided some login details. They aren't stupid enough to fall for that kind of trick, and will require a lot more information than just username/password.

How long will 99 fletching take?
He's not in the highscores, obviously the sig wouldn't be working.

I know it isn't broad bolts. That's all that matters as far as I'm concerned. That surprise attack would add some nice bonus damage while slaying. wrong spec :) zanik crossbow spec is an attack that does +15 extra damage (not %). If it uses diamond and ruby(e) I think it will become better than rune c'bow for boss hunting (could ruby bolts get up to 215 damage :o!). Hmm...Oh you're right. I did some research, I was thinking of the bone crossbow.

when noobs insult you with RL stuff!
Take a good look, ladies and gentlemen. In the court of law, this is what we'd call a "violation of the fifth amendment", IE: The OP incriminating himself, where in one fell swoop he manages to remind us that he's no better than the people that he's ranting about. I hereby judge in favor of the defendant, "The Trolls of Runescape", and order the plaintiff, Woozie, to stop trying to badmouth his own people. The plaintiff is also subpoena'd a meeting in my chambers for a good crowbar to the head. Nothing legal related, but clearly needed after this past comment.

Your sentiment is shared by a tiny minority. Downhill? Yea, because I loved the old days where mentioning Tip.It or saying [wagon] would get your muted, where bots ruled the game, and I couldn't make a single post on the RSOF marketplace forums without every offer being "lol com to neer egevil wildy, ill traed u there" because every 10 year old and his brother thought they were a l337 scammer. They'll "suffer"? How? Are they suffering now? No? Then be quiet. Yes? Then nothing will change. Also, Andrew hasn't been CEO since 2001. Constant Tedder was CEO, followed by Geoff Iddison, followed by Mark Gerhard. But don't worry about facts, they're usually biased.

Considering the IQ of the average Runescaper (and the hoards of children I see at the public libraries playing this game) I can see why security can be a problem for some of them. The only thing that bugs me is that they'd offer extra bank space for using it. I don't need the extra security, but that extra space sounds tempting. Yes. Whether players want to admit it or not, there is a big issue with account security, and Jagex cannot take the stance of "Well too bad for them".

Think of it like the old car sellers. "I guarantee you'll love this car so much, I'll throw in an extra year on the warranty!" except in this case, more bankspace is the warranty. And to the people who said "it should've been like this from the start", get real. This technology wasn't feasible back in 2001 when the game launched, let alone 2004 when RS2 launched. As for giving them for free; do you think Jagex is made of money? This is exactly what I can see coming, sadly. Just as bad as selling Rsgp. Soon as I saw it earlier I gave an example in a channel on IRC. This to me is the start of a bad route.. "Buy this now and get 50 extra bank spaces!" "Get this pencil case for 5.00, get this ruler with it too, and for an extra 2.00 you'll receive an extra 80 bank spaces, yes, 80!" :wall: :wall: :wall: I can't see this snowballing out of control into what you predict. I think it'll just be a one-time thing because this is a large step in Runescape for security.

You're referring to a small minority of the Internet. The rest are the reason why Drain-o has a warning saying "Do not drink". This isn't "so far over the line". If you haven't noticed, credit card companies are taking the same approach, and it's already been tested and works flawlessly. I once had my credit card stolen because a company I did business with had a security breach, and lost a few million credit card numbers. That company was Sears. If my card had this system in place, I wouldn't have had to even bother going through the process of locking my card and making sure that no transactions were being made on it. I've had my account on Runescape for 6 years, and for my entire time on the internet I have NEVER had an account stolen. But it's like they say, it only takes one time.

Lack of summoning tab
In FunOrb, the Kickabout League banner at the top of the front page used to have separate buttons for US and UK servers. They're updating to make the button itself automatically choose the better server for you, but they removed the option earlier this week to choose yourself, even though the update isn't out yet. Might've been a simple miscommunication between Runescape teams that caused the Summoning button to be removed too early as well.

Mobilising Armies Glitch - Exiles story
The bank is on the mini-map about ten steps away. I'll go back to my previous analogy with the car; It'd be like justifying carrying your bank account around as cash (Disregard credit/bank cards for the moment) because going to an ATM machine to withdraw money on occasion is too much of a pain. Then, again, getting hit by a car and having said money sack disappear in aforementioned nearby river.
