No. No they're not. If the God Letters are to be believed, Guthix barely even has heard the named Zaros. After Guthix went to sleep Zaros came, and then Guthix awoke after Zaros was gone. Ok I'm wrong. Everyone ignore me lol. :lol: Though you never know, Zaros could be us. Which could explain why one of the most powerful Majjharat(sp?) (Azzandra) taught us Ancient Magicks. And also explains why we have no levels when we first log in; he was drained of power when Zamorak stabbed him I believe. We're not Zaros, you're grasping at straws with those examples. And as Dexter pointed out, doesn't explain how the Balance Elemental knows us, or why Guthix would have "plans" for us.

Zaros' forces who remained loyal to him after Zamorak's takeover are small in number, and are an even smaller faction today, probably rivaled by those of the Hazeel cult and Amascut. Very few know of his existence, and even less are loyal to him. If Zaros is ever reborn, as predicted by the Chaos Elemental, he had better get his strength back fast. Forget Zamorak, who cowers at the very thought of him, he's going to be directly competing against Lucien, who not only has his own agenda in taking down Zamorak, but also has the combined power of the Staff of Armadyl and Stone of Jas. I spy, with my little eye, one kickass battle coming in the future.

There have been countless threads asking about nerfs, and the answer has been no. Every time someone has a bad streak, be it in mining, farming, slayer drops, god wars dungeon, etc, they have to make a thread asking if it's been nerfed. It's like when people make a thread saying "Check out thiis tiny, blurry picture. Clearly sailing?" It's nothing personal, just that the community here demands hard evidence.

Has everyone forgotten who Azzanadra is? Azzanadra is the Mahjarrat who not only destroyed the army attacking Uzer, but was one of the few Mahjarrat to remain loyal to Zaros even after his banishment. He was so powerful that, even to the other Mahjarrat, they considered him to be invincible until a spell was cast on him to split him into four diamonds. In Desert Treasure, we combine those four diamonds and free Azzanadra, who is currently in a weakened state in the pyramid. He's not in the God Wars Dungeon, not even close, and considering we aided him and he taught us Ancient Magicks, I doubt he would want to kill us. Yes you can. Zaros was gone before the God Wars, Guthix's forces were not their own major faction, and the desert pantheon of gods did not take part in the battle that ensued in the God Wars Dungeon, and multiple other demi-gods.

Considering it's the first of its kind, I'd say it's a very good update. They took a lot of chance with this mini-game, and it's turned out to be a quality mini-game. It was an idiotic assumption, yes, but your idiotic assumption. As for the gameplay, premise, rewards, delivery, concept, and idea, that's your opinion. And considering your pension for whining, not an opinion that can be taken seriously. And yet you're still here. Feel free to leave whenever. That's because you don't have the intellectual prowess to do anything other than whine and complain. You prefer to watch because it's the only option that won't make you look like even more of a whiny, uninformed child. The RSOF is a forum full of trolls, 10 year olds, and other uneducated twits who can't comprehend that the development cycle does not revolve around them, and will call for a riot and boycott if Jagex so much as clips a toenail in a fashion they don't like. And if you think players are being ignored, you need to stop going on 5 month leaves from tip.it, you haven't met Mod MMG Yeah, because look at the new amazing PVP update released while under command of Mod MMG... Hurf durf, the new Bounty Hunter is eons better than the old. There are a lot of other parts of the game that improved this year, amazingly enough PvP isn't the only section of Runescape, and it's still a hobby of the tiny minority. As for what pk'ers think about the updates; we know they're secretly content even though outward they need something to cry about to maintain e-respek

Karvinen deserves a medal. Removing the limits would indeed stop a lot of what price manipulation stands on (Not having any choice but to pay 60k around market). There would still be clan manipulation, but it would be more similar to the old system. If Jagex were to remove the limits, there wouldn't be much sense in keeping the GE Database, unless you were to use it to show the average prices that the items were being sold for.

Runescape and WoW are very different storywise, and it's these differences that account for a lot of the ways the games play out. In WoW, you're a small part of the war effort. You may get to do some stuff every now and then that makes a big difference, but at the end of the day you never made a dent on the world. In Runescape, your character has his/her own story, yes. The world is very different from where you began to where you are now. You see the lives and deaths of major characters, the reshaping of cities, and all of this can be re-experienced by players as they aren't just one-time events you had to have been there in 200x for. Upcoming games like Champions Online, Marvel Universe, and The Old Republic are going to be following this same formula, it's a standard the industry is turning to, the concept that you can mix your story with your MMO. As for a previous comment about the bronze-rune armor looking exactly the same; Jagex has shown great strides since rs2's launch in making weapons and armor look unique, starting with dragon and moving on to barrows, 3rd age, etc. I have a feeling they'll be working on bronze to rune, but one thing you have to remember is that those are the "newb" armors, and even WoW has countless items that use the same icons, or are reskinned versions of other items. Another thing you have to remember is that WoW started with a massive development team. Runescape had less than 10 for a good while from initial launch.

I think I'll log in and do some pking with my combo ags/ddp++ but I don't want to risk my Dh gaining EP in hotzones with my brawlers. After I get some cash selling my artifact drops, I'll port to the GE where I'll buy up some ranarr and make some ppots, merch some third age, get some willow seeds and check my tree's health, get some branches. Ranarr are on a 180 day average rise of over 50%, according to the G.E spread, so I'll have to buy up some for sale later on or so I won't have to pay as much. No, not nerdy at all. :ugeek:
