  1. I know a few FunOrbers in Singapore who will be delighted to hear this.
  2. Recipe for Internet Success: Don't respond to any points, just make personal attacks. It won't reinforce the fact that you're crying for the sake of crying. Also, a fight implies some sort of reaction. Any battle of logic and wits between us would be akin to Bruce Campbell fighting a toddler. +1 Not any more pathetic than usual. WoW implemented a similar service just in the past year or so, and from what I hear it works flawlessly.
  3. Nein. It generates a one-time password based on the player's account, that is only valid for a limited time (usually for a couple minutes, or until you log in, whichever comes first). This way, if someone tries to keylog you and use that password, by the time they try it, it'll be invalid. It's foolproof, unless you get the USB key physically stolen or lose it.
  4. It does make me wonder as to how the font update was "unintentional". I can picture the mod offices; Jmod: Check this out. I did this font as a gag in my spare time. Jmod 2: Lolz. Just don't upload it, like this! (clicks near upload button) Or this! Or- *Clicks upload* Jmod: You :-# Jmod 2: Whoops...
  5. I don't think that those claims were ever confirmed by Jagex to be legit bugs, so jury's out on that. As for the player; I would never carry 350mil around for one reason; Lag. Look at how many stories you hear about people dying because they lagged out somewhere and a random event killed them. You take a risk every day, yes, but I find there's a big difference in my every-day armor that I can replace in a week tops, than carrying around the 350mil I just spent the past few months gathering. Big, major difference. The difference between if you got hit by a car and lost your wallet that flew into a river and is gone, or got hit by a car while carrying your life savings in a sack that flew into said river and was gone. While you'd still feel bad for the guy in Scenario 2, you can't help but wonder why he was walking down a street carrying said life savings in the first place.
  6. Oh god, cry some more. Get with the times, this system is the next generation of account security, and even credit card companies are working on similar systems to protect against identity theft. The "if you lose your account, [bleep] you" ideal is why the only direction you'd run a company, would be into the ground. As insane as it is, the idea of poetic justice for people who get their account stolen isn't good for business, which Jagex is, and should be, primarily focused on; keeping customers, paying or not. I'd like to see these people in real life. "If your car gets stolen it's your fault for it being hot-wireable" "If you get shot it's your fault for standing on front of the bullet. Why should the police have to protect your dumb [wagon]?" Yea, because a couple extra spaces as their guarantee your account will never be hacked = Jadflax Reel Werld Treding. Did you see their post about back-end system upgrades? Clearly this is a sign that SAILING WILL BE THE NEXT SKILL. And BOUNTY HUNTER'S GETTING REMOVED. And some other half-baked lame, irrelevant conclusion I can come up with to complain some more!
  7. Runescape Rant: "Jagex, I lost 350 mil due to a bug!" Jagex: Orly? Rant: Yarly, can you fix it? Jagex: No. Not our policy, sry. FunOrb Rant: "Jagex! All my rating/achievements got reset! Wdf40!" Jagex: Orly? Rant: Cha-Reely. Can you fix it? Jagex: Ah I see the issue. Rating/Achievements restored, gonna go fix bug, brb. Rant: Another point to FunOrb!
  8. Sailing is coming, but it's going to be a game on FunOrb.
  9. To Mod Mat K's second comment: [cabbage]. Jagex says every bug that they can't tell who lost what, so I'm going to say either Jagex is lying, or Mat K is lying.
  10. I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw the new interface. If interfaces could be sexy, well... Next step: Allowing the interface to expand a little for those of us who are on high detail! My god those things are tiny!
  11. The Sailing skill!
  12. Jagex: It'll be a low key update. Runescape: omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg mobilising armies! MA MA MA MA MA 26k Nerf! Jagex: Update's out! You'll all be glad to know we've fixed some of Party Pete's dance animation glitches! See you next week! Runescape:
  13. "We are confident people will not be disappointed with the update once it comes" Obviously, Jagex is going to alter all of our brains so we love every update. Doctor Gumby will see you now. [yt]0qlrBEHtJWw[/yt] I'm going to perform BRAIN SURGERY!
  14. Am I the ONLY one to notice "Mod GG"? :shame: :ugeek:  Mod GG to Andrew Gower: I'm reading chat transcripts from pkers and mini-gamers and they keep calling me a "nub" and calling me. What the hell did I do to them? *Shows paper* Pker: "GG nub" GOP: Gg Castle Wars: GG n00b Bounty Hunter: GG ch00b PvP Worlds: GG, nub hax0r Andrew: I....think we need to have a talk.
  15. When the update comes tomorrow, or whenever, and it is small, anyone who claims Jagex lied about a big update is going to get a boot to the chest, and choked out.
  16. This thread is only legitimate if the people discussing it acknowledge and agree to the terms: 1. I will not go completely ape-[cabbage] if Jagex was speaking literally and the update really is small. 2. Should the update be small, I will not call Jagex out on a "promise" that I created in my head, that they did not deliver on. That is all. I hope it's a big update.
  17. It was the small amounts of dolphin that gave the tuna that extra kick. But I can find you a few examples of sequels that failed because the public couldn't handle change. Lineage for starters. Asheron's Call.
  18. I knew this was coming for a long time. FunOrb gets these back-end and smaller updates long before Runescape does, since there's a lot less to translate. FunOrb Brazil was November 08, which gives you an idea as to just how much more Runescape has to translate than FunOrb. Actually it's Português. Nub

  20. 3-days. The offense itself expires from your list of offenses in 2010. That means it'll no longer be visible on your offense history.

  22. It's not really odd. If clans are merching both items at the same time, they'll be bought up and sold out at the same rate. Also don't forget that these are two items for the same set of armor. Generally sets go in a similar price direction, when one goes up/down, the rest follow somewhat.

Oh Zierro. If you wanted a date, I have a PM box. He speaks the truth. Not having a boyfriend just because everyone else had one was my mantra in school, and it worked well in deflecting advances.

I didn't say Runescript was taking full advantage of Java limitations. I said that the best Runescript can be is in direct correlation with how advanced Java becomes.
