So you're ranting because, at a low level, fishing is slow? Great thread. Would read again. If you're thinking of going straight to sharks when you get the ability at 76, I'd recommend putting it off. At the rate sharks fish, you might want to find a good Stephen King novel before you start fishing a single inventory. I'm at 92 fishing (6.4 mil exp) and fishing sharks still isn't worth it.

A helpful moderator pinned it without consulting the moderation team as she should have. The team disagreed with pinning it because "...the updates were too infrequent to warrant a pinned discussion topic." Oh well. Not a big deal. It will be bumped every time I post a new tweet, and hopefully moderators will direct all other threads about their twitter hints here. Too infrequent? They update every day to every other day. Oh well, if the weekly front page updates are frequent enough to warrant their own threads in announcements, then I'll start a new thread for every twitter update in general.

I know you cant provide information from that forum here, but are there exact quotes from Jagex stating that it was a mistake and Lucipher didnt macro in any way? Have you read a conversation between him and a Jagex mod? It helps that he knows Mod Andrew personally, too. Like I said, he got banned for either macro'ing, or playing too much (a la Zezima a while back). He wasnt banned for mousekeys. My friends and myself use them and one has used them extensively for a long time cutting teaks to 25m+ exp in woodcutting. So if he is completely innocent and it is the latter reason, then I think that is the biggest wake up call one needs to realise life doesnt revolve around Runescape. Or his account could've been locked for security reasons, or it could've been tied to the server issues. There's a number of reasons a person wouldn't appear on the hiscores for a day.

A runescape account and a storage room are two separate entities completely. Laws make it very difficult to throw out a tenant or buyer, it is 100% illegal for a landlord, be it of an apartment or a storage facility, to throw out the contract "on a hunch" early, would constitute breach of contract, and the landlord would be subject to a civil suit from the renter. There are laws that exist to protect renters, no such laws exist for Runescape account owners. I suggest you read up on health codes and safety guidelines. As difficult as it is to comprehend, there are indeed laws that protect consumers from buying dangerous foods, and temperature does match into it. The coffee McDonalds used to serve was practically boiling hot, and the person who sued suffered third degree burns, was forced to undergo skin grafting, and two years of treatment. What they're doing isn't illegal, so there's nothing to worry about "being above the law".

It doesn't update as fast as Wallstreet, but it is comparable. Price manipulation has been against the rules for years. People get muted and threads get locked for it all the time on the forums. Or they could intervene when obvious manipulation is taking place to bankrupt the manipulators and basically make it so useless that nobody will do it anymore. Communism and Socialism are two completely different things. Socialism is about the will of the majority, Communism is about the will of the few. You're comparing Conservatives to Liberals. Socialism is an economic view, Communism is a political view, and the two definitely do not exist within one another, unless you account the few Communist parties that promised to adopt socialist views, but never went through with it. You're deciding two extremes as the only options. Either Jagex controls everything and turns this into a single player rpg, or they do nothing. Careful regulation does wonders. Name calling and half-witted condescending comments on age aren't too different you know, especially considering your vast experience in Runescape has apparently left you with less knowledge than someone who, in your words, was wetting the bed when you were playing.
