Gee..40GB seem an awful low cap - my ISP has a 200 GB cap and sometimes I still think it's a bit low. Overall, the biggest bandage users will always be video and audio, followed by games (those are not small). None of the other stuff should add to much (RS is next to to nothing once you've got most of the maps loaded) Either cut down on steam or the videos would be your best bet. And if you got the net elsewhere and a laptop - go leech their bandwidth (pssst library) lol.

Well you've never really had anything positive to say about anything RS or Jagex related so it's not a huge shock. And I doubt they would want a dime, that's like 0.63 of a penny :P Well, you're not one of the 10+ ppl I got into RS - 6 or 7 them of went on to buy membership. That was before. This is now. The new Jagex deserve all the crap I throw at them.

If I was still optimistic/naive about jagex, I would probably have said that "it's a good first step that jagex are admitting to this." But now, I have no real expectations. Jagex has just been nothing but disappointing since the investor takeover - there is nothing but empty talk and pretty open tolerance to cheaters. Nothing but more propaganda to throw at us.

I would not pay jagex a dime to watch this session - they already make so much off the cheaters they refuse to perm ban to make even more money off me to listen to their 'insider strategy' against bots. Unfortunately, the fanboys will go to this session and proclaim how jagex hate bots even though the truth is right in front of them, a few clicks away.

1st step Jagex needs to freaking secure their game client - there's probably not a single game engine out there that has been reverse-engineered as RS has. Really, these day, having a pure browser game isn't that much of an advantage. But either way, having every item/location code to known to bot devs is kind of unheardful of...

I don't and I wasn't defending you at all. No one here cares if it's the third thread you've made in the past year, there is no point in making the same thread over and over again. It's annoying as hell, not providing a good discussion. Thank you for appreciating my sarcasm so well. No one likes to talk about or admit their game dying - and you guys can rationalize it HOWEVER you want - but you have no right to stop me from predicting doom. Pfft @ you paper purists. I don't like Kindle for having no color - but having an entire library on any ebook reader is pretty awesome stuff. As a student, it is a lifesaver not having to carry those 20 textbooks around AND having reference apps/books on hand like that.

@Octarine19 I don't think so - I think this will be more of the same propaganda we've been getting - something like "O look we banned 20,000 bots in one month" - but wait, we forgot to tell you that most of them are 7-14 day temp bans, that they keep all their ill-gotten gold, AND that there are 500,000 bots out there that we didn't ban.
