Welfare in your country
Maybe in your country, but here, all you need to do is walk down to a centrelink and take a look for yourself. The lines at Centrelink and a chemist who deals in methadone tend to lead to each other.

Run-ins with the law
Got all the usual minors, urinating in public, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, spitting, unpaid speeding fines etc. Also have indecent exposure (funny story actually, I'll go into that down the bottom), assault, contempt of court, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and something to do with fare evasion? I'm not sure, hopefully another Aussie can explain the way Connex works. RE Indecent exposure: So, this was back when I was 16. Woke up at about 3pm on a Thursday afternoon. Naturally, I'd been out on the grog the night before. So I wander downstairs, jump in the shower, etc etc. At about 3:30 I realize it was bin night. So I take my brunch stuff out into the backyard to put it in the bins, in my workout shorts. I start dragging the bins up the yard, and I look up ahead, and there's a face poking over my fence belonging to one of those Jehovah's Witness's guys that wander the streets being pains in your [wagon]. He jumps down and leaves, so I just put my bins at the gate, go inside, grab my bag, head off to the gym.. I get home around 5:30, and there is a business card from a Sergeant from the local police station. So, I call him up, and he asks me to come to the station for an interview. Sure enough, I head down there, trying to stay in his good books. Anyway, I get there, ask to speak to him and we go into an interview room. He tells me I'm being charged with indecent exposure. I tell him he is dreaming. This JW guy has let himself in the front gate, rung the doorbell, when I haven't answered, he's climbed the fence because he heard me moving the bins. When he saw me in my gym shorts, he was shocked and disgusted. Now, apparently, wearing gym shorts on your own property while surrounded by 8 foot high fencing is illegal, because it is still in view of the public. Mind you, the public has to trespass/break and enter to see you. I bring this up with the Sergeant, and he's like, "nope, sorry mate, doesn't matter, you've been reported, we have to charge you with it" Court case was scheduled a few weeks later. My lawyer attended the first one, tried to get the case thrown out, but the magistrate allowed it. Being the bloke I am, just to spite the magistrate, I turned up in the same pair of work out shorts, nothing else. I was charged with contempt, ended up being fined $750 and nearly lost my working with children permit!

McDonalds Is Good For You!
Steve, if you read my posts you will realise why. It's not the reverse at all. I'm required to have large amounts of muscle, and as such, my BMI is in the "overweight" range. If you'd like, I could rattle off a list of about 20 AFL players and god knows how many rugby players of a similar height and build to myself during the playing season, that are all exactly the same, and that's just off the top of my head! I take my sport VERY seriously. It pays for my house, my car, my phone and my future. So please, I'll ask you again, to read my posts before commenting on them. I've seen super size me. I'm not an idiot. If you read my posts, you'd understand what I eat from there, why I eat from there and how it works out much better than the alternatives. Kranked: That's why you drink pure blonde, it has about 1/5th the calories of most of the other popular beers around here!

Welfare in your country
Here in Australia, it's virtually nothing, it tops out around $500 a fortnight, with more available if you do community service. Everyone who earns under $30k a year gets free health care, and everyone who pays over $1 in tax has insurance. I'd say its not a good thing to be able to live on it. That's when you get the kinds of people who don't actually want to work, and just sit on welfare their entire lives. That being said, it's more or less a popular culture reference in Australia about the indigenous population of both our countries and how they would generally prefer to sit around unemployed doing drugs than actually go to work.

Weightlifting - Your RL STR Lvl :D
Supplement wise, I'd think just whey protein, C, B, glucosamine and a multi would do you. I honestly think these packages are a waste of money. That extra money you are spending translates to time you could be spending in the gym.

I reckon I can get that without too much struggle, but I'm a conceited [wagon]!

The Running Thread
BEAST  Oh, is it actually a good time? There's about 5 or 6 guys in my team alone that can spank me at anything over 20m! But, I probably have a bit of an advantage over you guys when it comes to training. We don't normally run miles here, we use metric :P Noble, do you want more core strength, or muscle definition? One can lead to the other, but they are actually pretty separate goals which will have different training and diet regimes. Those aren't particularly ambitious times at all my man! Mate, in 3 months with some dedication, you can get there easily with time to spare.

The Running Thread
I run about a 4:30 mile. Not particularly fast, but then again, it's all about stamina for me. I think I got 11.1 over the 100m, and 2.9 something over the 20m. I've never been that fast a runner. Last time I wore The Tracker in a game, I think I only registered "sprinting" (over 22kph or something) for a tad over 800m  Got a reasonable 17.9km though, which wasn't too bad for 70 minutes game time.

So about leases
There is more than likely a section in the contract that states that you either have to give specific notice or that it will continue until notified. It's pretty standard in most contracts, leases, goods rentals, gym memberships, phone/internet plans, etc

Zombie Plans-Revised
Probably just die. Only feasible places are coastal regions, which is where nearly our entirely population lives. Gun control is very tight, and I can't legally own a firearm anyway. Firearms stores are few and far between, and generally just stock bare minimums such as bolt action rifles and shotguns. My plan is drop quite a few oxys then take a little nap.

What impact does BH have on some items?
Don't stress too much. The reason prices are crashing on items like Bandos is because people who wish to go PVP replace their items they either don't want to risk, or aren't much use in PVP with more suitable items. Because they are impatient, they'll generally sell them for minimum. Not too many people use things like BGS, tassets, furies etc in PVP. That's why the necessary supplies and KO items raised. The prices will rebound when people say, "oh great, BGS is down 6 mill, I'll buy now!" They put in their bids, and when they don't get them straight away, they will raise their bids, and drive the price up further. That, and they'll get over PVP. With items that raised, crashed then raised.. Well, people have hoarded, then tried to "dump". But, the same thing happens, people get impatient, drop everything to minimum price so it will sell quickly.

McDonalds Is Good For You!
My last statement was rhetorical mate, I don't eat fried foods and I don't drink coke. I'm willing to bet I know at least as much about nutrition as you do, probably more because of what I'm required to know for work. I eat salads, grilled chicken wraps and water. The reason I eat McDonald's every day is because.. A) It's convenient B) It's free. C) I know EXACTLY what's in it, so I can work my supplements around it. Eating at McDonald's rather than cooking at home saves me well over 15 hours a week, which is better used in the gym or on the field. The minute nutritional benefits of cooking healthier types of food instead of McDonalds + supplements is nothing compared to the extra time I have available working on my skills or studying opponents. I never denied that you can make very healthy, tasty foods on a budget at home. I'm trying to point out to you that some people choose not to eat that way, or it doesn't suit their lifestyle. I used to be just like you. I found it difficult to shake soft drinks, I loved cooking for myself and my family and I thought people were silly for eating take away on a daily basis. Life isn't the same for everyone and it won't always be the same for you, accept it.

McDonalds Is Good For You!
So if I like to eat a deep fried processed chicken burger with full fat mayo and bacon with a fairly sweet bun, with a large portion of over salted fries and close to a litre of coke, I can make it healthier at home? Mate, just use your common sense and THINK about my statement. Some people LIKE eating food this way, so they CHOOSE to prepare it that way, using those ingredients. Again, if you will read my quote PROPERLY, you'll see that you have created an argument out of nothing. I'm more than happy to agree that home cooked meals to tend to seem more filling.

McDonalds Is Good For You!
I eat McDonalds 4-6 times a day(4 during summer, 6 during winter), 7 days a week. Trust me, I'd admit it if I like it, but I'm not a fan. I've never quite understood why people would eat it if It makes them sick, or if they think it makes them fat. It honestly isn't worse for you than a lot of things you would cook at home if those are the kinds of foods you like to eat. I'm technically overweight, but that's because A) I play sport for a living. (I have a part time job to cover social expenses) B) It's the off season. C) I'm apparently an alcoholic. It's perfectly reasonable to enjoy eating food that is cheap, tasty and convenient. You're overweight because you eat McD 4 to 6 times a day. That's the reason you're overweight. Stop finding excuses for that. And oh, if that's how you cook at home you really should learn to cook better/other things/healthier. Personally, I eat McD a few times a year. I have no need for it, at all. Don't see what I would be missing out on. Mate, when did I say I was fat or unhealthy? I said technically I'm overweight, because my BMI is in the "overweight" range. But guess what buddy? So are 95% of other footballers. Same with rugby players. Do you know why we put on weight in the off season? Because we build as much muscle mass as possible so when we cut and focus on cardio during the pre season, we still have what we need. I didn't list excuses, I gave reasons to explain my statement that I was "technically" overweight. When did I say that's how I cook at home?, or how everybody cooks at home? Read the bloody quote you moron. It says, "It honestly isn't worse for you than a lot of things you would cook at home if those are the kinds of foods you like to eat." I put it there because you clearly are too lazy to scroll back up. Does anybody do anything other than skim nowadays, or are their heads too far up their own [wagon] to put some thought into it?

Labtop Help
Higher resolution > larger screen. People tend to sit closer to notebook computers than they do desktops. I know that for 90% of my non-commercial use, its sitting on my knees. I've had noticeable heat problems with HP and Toshiba laptops, but I don't know of anyone else who has with HP That being said, I still prefer Toshiba laptops over anything else out there. I'm being forced into a mac for work purposes though :(

Ourg Bones? Are you KIDDING?
Part of me thinks this is great, another thinks it sucks. As has been said, Bandos was already crowded enough. Now if you last 2 kills on a solo run, your costs are pretty well covered without even worrying about drops. I think it will make solo/duo even more popular. Hopefully jagex will implement something I've been begging for since 02. scatter ashes. It makes sense to me. Prayer is apparently us being blessed by Saradomin, so shouldn't we be reward for slaying creatures of zamorak?

Your Biggest Mistake
My 6th grade class was big on yo-yos. I think we were cooler. Exact same situation as me, except replace internet with RuneScape. Dsavi, people say it's a huge mistake because it was such a huge amount of time spent playing it, time that can't be gotten back, and can't be considered a good use. I happen to agree with you. The dads kept count of the VB, otherwise we'd have been the coolest kids going around!

Weightlifting - Your RL STR Lvl :D
5"11, fighting at 173 atm, usually sit around 165 though. I haven't maxed in a while, but I think I did about 230 bench and 285 last time I was at this weight.

worst pain ever inflicted on you
Were you tortured by Russian intellegence agents? About the anesthetic which went wrong, there are multiple stories of people having surgery without being properly anesthized (is that a word?). Anyway, these people could feel their stomachs being cut open and such and usually had post traumatic stress disorder. News story related to this. Dobbed on a local dealer actually.

Your Biggest Mistake
Staying in school as long as I did. Biggest waste of time ever. The only thing relevant after grade 5 was just exactly how much vodka you can get away with drinking in class.
-
worst pain ever inflicted on you
Getting 3 fingernails ripped out with pliers, one at a time. 2nd place is Compound fracture of the ribs. 3rd is falling off a bridge (yes, sounds silly, but anybody who has FALLEN 20m + into water knows what I'm talking about) Honourable mention; Developmentally delayed family member fitted shower taps wrong, that just happen to be just under waist height. I'm sure you can see where this is going

ok...so i need 30 mill...
Farm ranarrs & limps. Fill your MYK coffers, keep 10 on fish and 5 on flax or maples (I prefer maples, I tend to get more money off the seeds). Keep approval at 100% Either do some slayer, hunter, or RC between farming runs. I prefer to run nats in between farming runs. You can do it in about 6 weeks without too much difficulty.

So how's the new CEO doing so far?
Well he does have a lot to do with the direction of the company in regards to its overall goals, and he's doing a lot better of a job than Geoff Iddison, especially in regards to the community and f2p. Mark Gerhard wants to make the game more fun for both sides, Iddison just wanted publicity. Please don't underestimate was Geoff did for us. He was, and is, known for his BUSINESS talents. Jagex is a business, and under his lead reported massive growth and really made an attempt to streamline the company. Mark's tactic of being more accessible and more visible gives him a more positive image. He seems to have clearly dedicated himself to improving players opinion of Jagex and fixing mistakes that shouldn't have been there in the first place.
