Based on your story I see no possible way you could lose in court. It sounds like you stopped at the intersection first. If that's the case you had the right-of-way. Even if you both came up to the intersection at the same time, you were to her right and she should have let you go first. You make it sound like she didn't bother to even bother to stop. That alone should be enough to make the accident her fault. If she was going 55 in a 35 it's definately her fault. The officer probably wrote it in his report. You need to get his name and contact him.
  2. You didn't write it in red #-o
  3. I know it's fake but I would kill for that first one
  4. People will pay $600 for a PS3 because it can function as a stand-alone Blu-Ray player. Right now that is enough to warrant the purchase of a PS3. If you want to play next-gen movies on an Xbox360 you'll need to purchase an external HD-DVD drive. They're going to retail for $200 usd. Add that to the $400 usd you pay for a premium edition 360 and you're paying $600 anyways Essentially you're going to end up paying the same price for the same functionality. The only deciding factor here will be which of the two formats [blu-Ray or HD-DVD] becomes the future standard. That said, I vote for "other". I'll be buying a Wii. No point in buying a 360 or PS3 when DirectX10 is coming out so soon. Once the new line of video cards are out for the PC I'll be a happy camper
  5. In most countries a 16 year-old wouldn't be able to drive on their own anyways. They would most likely have a graduated license, requiring an adult to accompany them when they drive. I much preferred my bike until I was old enough to drive on my own. Let's not forget the fact there aren't many people his age who can afford to purchase and insure their own car. He's probably in school, not working full-time. The only 16 year-olds I knew with their own cars got them from their "mommies and daddies", they didn't put a cent towards it themselves.
  6. Hahaha, so the guy who was in third won the race after he took out his own teammate and another guy? That's so awesome. :XD: I bet he got a beating afterwards though.
  7. He was so upset over the loss to the Tigers he had to do it :shame:
  8. That's most likely it. I was checking out Yahoo the other day, went into their Bingo games and every room was pretty much mothers and wives talking about their kids and stuff. They're out there. You just won't find many of them in a MMORPG or FPS game.
  9. I play Battlefield2 once or twice a week. I've got the Special Forces expansion which is awesome. I'm a casual player so I've never bothered with clans. I don't play enough to dedicate time towards matches and whatnot. The game is very fun in small doses... when I first got it I would play four or more hours a day on the weekend so I kinda burned out. I also play a small browser-based game called Tribalwars. It's pretty simple, your village automatically gathers resources to upgrade it's buildings. You can attack other people and take their resources or cature their villages once you've progressed far enough. It's very casual, I only check in twice a day [once in the morning, once at night] to send out attacks and throw upgrades into the queue.
  10. I'm guessing your parents don't love you? My parents and I have a great relationship. Infact, that's why I would be able to kill someone so easily. If someone were to threaten a loved one I wouldn't have second thought about hurting/killing them. I would do it as fast as possible.
  11. It's things like this that make me wish I could float around and explore the universe after I die. It would take an eternity to explore.
  12. ..That made no sense.. What he means is, they were once much smaller. They have reached their current size because they are in the red giant stage of their life.

Erm, Sony has a built-in Blu-Ray player which is worth the $600USD price tag on its own. To use HD-DVD with a 360 you need to purchase a $200USD external drive. Add that to the $400USD you paid for the system and you're paying the same price as you would for a PS3.
  15. If the US government allows torture they will be giving up the moral high-ground. The entire premise behind the war was one of moral superiority. The "war on terror" is a war of ideals. It's not a war the US can win on it's own. They've already had a hard enough time getting internation support and, if they choose this route, the US government will never regain its credibility.
  16. I can't wait until they trademark the name and then try to sue some South-American drug czars for copyright infringement :-k
  17. There's only one race, the human race. All we need is a good ol' ID4-style Alien invasion to get it through our heads :-k
  18. I can't stand the Halo games.
  19. I'm guilty. I used to watch it religiously back when I was in the 7/8th grade.
  20. Love the video. Those two are so awesome.
  21. I thought we just ground the leftovers up and fed it to the remaining animals. Mad Bear Disease anyone? :ohnoes:
  22. Too bad he died before they got him to a hospital. Now we'll never be able to get his paws and precious gallbladder juice.
  23. Sucks but like Viktor said, he shouldn't have been driving while high.
