limestone is made into limestone bricks for construction. I am unsure if granite and sandstone can be mined before/after the quest.

I just started doing barrows a couple days ago and my house has helped me so much, I love being able to tele to my house, charge prayer, and run through my kharyll portal to get back to canifis. From chest to Canifis bank is less than 30 seconds, compare that to using another altar to charge...

I'd say mixture, I'm working on becoming a skiller though, and I do love quests :)

If you have done the "Between a Rock" Quest you can mine inside the rock then talk to the boatman and pay him 1 or 2 ores and he will bank them for you. By far the fastest way to mine gold.

Click on the wrench icon inside runescape and make sure Music Volume is set to 4. If that doesn't work then I don't know sorry.
