Actually you're wrong in a way. Rangers may not hit as HARD as meleers (i think they can hit 19's at 99 range with rune) BUT they also have the option to "rapidly" attack...this means that in the time they can hit twice, meleers can hit once. that's 38 right there. Point being, I think that the only update I could see happening would be a stronger arrow like dragon, and it could add maybe like 3 or 4 damage to 99 rangers. (This way with rapid you could hit around 46 in two shots, which is around the max a meleer can hit normally)

Runescape Console Game + other ideas for RS
Outsanity replied to daftpunk1232's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Yeah...I'll agree, single player would ROCK, and I would surely buy it. However, an online console game...No. -
Ring of Protection and Diseased Enemies
Outsanity replied to King_Kazul's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
No to both. Just train your prayer and switch on protect items. And for the diseases, we already have poison...let's not add anything else. By the way, the Black Plague was spread by rats and other rodents. -
the f2pers that are constantly whining are just a very vocal minority, the majority of f2pers don't care, and the ones that do want p2p stuff become members. I beg to differ. But if that's what you've come across in your time playing, fine. I however, have seen the opposite.
-
Fine. It will let be. However, I am not backing down an inch from what I've said before nor do I expect you will either. This is fine, however, and the subject will be dropped.

Bestiaty: Magic Scimitar (Lv.50)
Outsanity replied to Blaze The Movie Fan's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I'm seriously without any cadence relating to sarcasm in my voice wondering when this child is going to be banned. I mean...if not for his useless posts, at least for the constant spamming he imbues upon us. -
Bestiaty: Sand-term City Guard (Lv.47)
Outsanity replied to Blaze The Movie Fan's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I don't include scimitars and pizzas with everything, that's FAR FAR AWAY from being correct. ok.... children... quit it... to outsanity: if you dont wanna read his topics, get over it and leave, key? to blazik: yeah... you kinda use scimitars alot, dont use pizzas alot though (i think) [/!OFF TOPIC] now, to what i wanted to post... couple of things: -please remove the picture, its really really paint-ugly -the idea is good, but we dont realy need lower lvl monsters, we need tough monsters (dont even think about creating one....) -please post this at your sandterm-topic, its an addition to that topic, so please post it there, its kinda annoying to see 5-6 of your posts at discussion and please.... dont get so hyper about other ppls opinions, they have a point if they say most of your topics are, well, bad Buggienuk, if there is a problem with giving his post criticism then forgive me, I could have SWORN that's what discussions were for. He DOES include pizzas in most everything he does, and scimitars of course are the essence of his insane ideas. Crim, for once I'll agree with you. Blaziken saying he isn't obsessed with scimitars and that he doesn't include them in everything he posts is like saying Victoria Secret doesn't make bras. It's insane. Now, I also caught Blaziken contradicting what he said beforehand: His first quote: His second quote: So basically...before, you completely DENIED any obsessive scimitar behaviors, then you went and said that you can "prove" you won't let it all be the same anymore. I mean...that in my eyes is you ADIMITTING you've included them in everything. And don't try to oppose this. I can go and quote EVERY one of your posts and probably find the words scimitar and/or pizza in almost 95% of them. This made me crack up: Um...excuse me...but are we still in the 8th grade here? Blaziken, if you're going to post ideas, whether you think they are good or bad, you WILL get bad reviews and good reviews. Unfortunetly, most of your ideas are horrible, so the majority will be bad reviews. Yet still, I actually COMPLIMENTED (look it up if you don't know the definition) your idea, and then you go and start being an immature juvenile and yelling up a storm. A word of advice: Quit throwing temper tantrums whenever someone hates your ideas. You better god damn learn how to take both sides of the criticism chain, or just quit posting in general. Because I WILL be reading your ideas, as will others, and I'm not going to sugar-coat my opinion and censor my true thoughts just because you're too young to take contructive criticism. -
Limited trial for f2p...could it happen!?
Outsanity replied to lpinkus's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
That's nicely said. I forgot about the people who can't pay due to location and such. About the other free games mentioned, are they also online? And is the software also free? Do you consider those games better than RS? I like the way Outsanity says things. Maybe it's because outsanity is the opposite of insanity :) lpinkus Thank you, Lpinkus...you're thought process 'aint too shabby, either. But yes, I try to take a step back from myself and notice things in an unbiased way. You'll obviously have noticed in not one single post I've made that I have included something without stating both pros and cons. Afterall, every piece of candy has its bitter moments. -
Bestiaty: Sand-term City Guard (Lv.47)
Outsanity replied to Blaze The Movie Fan's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Well, I won't include scimitar with everything. As a matter of fact, I have seen a lot of people of his level or lower that drops steel scimitar. NOTE: The reason of why I putted steel scimitar in there was MANY MONSTERS ON HIS LEVEL DROPS STEEL STUFF, it's not because I'm scimitar freak. And everything is WRONG, your post isn't about why its drop is bad it's about me. It's about that I normally do. I don't EVER wanna see something that gets downrated just because it has something in it that's common in me. Steel Scimitar as a drop isn't because I'm a scimitar freak, it's because IT IS COMMON FOR MONSTERS ON HIS LEVEL. Oh jease. Is something wrong with you? I SERIOUSLY would love to know. Because if you're so idiotic to fail to see that I was finally complementing one of your posts then oh my god, please help me. No...you're a liar, and a scam. You included pizza too, and all the other various items that you favourite with a digusting obsessive manner. In my honest opinion, I hope you get banned after saying this. Your attitude hasn't changed, and your ideas have only got a slight bit better. To everyone else who reads this: Don't ever compliment Blaziken...his mind isn't capable of retaining such "drastic" information. -
Runescape content going more and more downhill
Outsanity replied to Lode's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Go Ardougne! My fave. I suppose I'd be a citizen there given the choice. lpinkus Hehe...yes, it is pretty nifty. The only setback would be the fact that soon enough it will most likely be the breeding ground for all things chaotic and unholy. -
I didn't see blaziken post in this whole thread? Probobly not on this thread, but somewhere, he's got like 9 topics on this board, all involving sandterm city. Yes, supperpiff0 is correct. However random and very useless it would be, his Sand-term guard bestiaty I will admit had thought put into it...but I'm not saying that I enjoy any more of his post. Anyways, once again, this is a great idea, and if no one will submit it to jagex, I will...and if they need a voting, I sugest we make a petition...we'd certainly win. ;)
-
Well said If that happened, many, if not most of these f2ps would also be begging their parents for five more dollars a month :) lpinkus Very clever, lpinkus. Once again you make me chuckle. But really...what you say has the truth to it that I have been trying to point out. Free players as a general consensus are just narturally greedy and, for a lack of better term, nooby. I am not trying to completely stereotype here...but let's face it...stereotypes about people don't rise because of total random information. They have truth behind them. The people in which those stereotypes are made about are the reason those "rumors" exist.. They put themselves in that position, and unfortunetly the innocent ones, however much of a minority they are in the population, take the fall too. But with that said, they would never change...however, if that situation were to happen, as I said, they'd be running around like headless chickens. :)

Lets get something quite straight and fully known before I go too in-depthly into the simplemindedness of your inner working mind. You as a person have never met me, nor do you have any previous background information on me to state whether or whether not I am fully capable of being entirely independent. At the moment, my parents pay for nothing, and never have since I was around 13. Since then I've taken every low-quality job I could find just to make enough money to buy toiletries, school supplies, costs for an extracuricular classes I am taking in-school such as Theatre and Choir, or even the clothes I wear. I pay for everything minus food and shelter, which is obviously required by law...and if I didn't buy my own clothes, they'd probably be taking me to thrift shops and buying me previously used clothes. I pay for my own Runescape membership, and whenever I take my girlfriend somewhere, or whenever she wants something, I pay for it. For a 16 year old, I can tell you I have much more responsibility and common sense than the everyday 30-year-old. Please, don't mock my intelligence and don't question my morality. I'm sure you would hardly even scathe the surface of any truth what-so-ever. Now, with that over and done with. Stating I am being overly high moraled is extremely proposterous. What you are basically saying nutshell wise is that because I go out, work for everything I own, and take 100% pride in what I make, that I am automatically an insanely over-achieved person. Well guess what...living with the parents I have doesn't exactly leave me with many options. You try living with them...and then we can talk. So, moving on: You're comparing statement of "making my own crops and chopping my own wood for my own house" is highly ridiculous. Those are abilities that are beyond me, and even if I could perform them, I still wouldn't. However...the money I would make towards those things WOULD be achieved earnestly and honestly...and so, indirectly, yes...the house or food would be entirely my own. Let's not stray from the matter at hand, though. I yelled at my friend because of the fact that in reality he had begged for the money. Any intelligent reader of my post would have been able to seperate that information from the subtext in my paragraph. I went to the girl (who's name shall be left annonymous, for obvious reasons) and asked her if she flat out gave my friend that money. She said that the whole 8 hours he was chopping magic trees, he was complaining how long it was taking, how he wished he could just get lucky and someone would be nice enough to give him money, etc etc. Then, she said that when she brought up the issue of how much money she made around an hour later, that he had asked her if he could "borrow" the money from her and pay her back after he got the whip. Not wanting him to gripe anymore about it, she gave in and lent him the money...though she only wants half back. Well, it has been 3 weeks since and so far she has not seen her missing millions. She says that he told her he'd pay her back soon after, but he told me she just GAVE him all that money. So now, you see why I yelled at him. And yet, he cares not. He grasped onto the trust of a friend and took advantage of it, and whilst I feel he may in time pay her back, it won't be for weeks, because instead of sticking to his word and getting the money soon (which he is fully capable of), he's been training with the whip ever since, and refuses to leave his spot. So how's that for a kick in the bum? For future reference, do not try to get involved with things you have no knowledge of. Everything will end badly.
-
I entirely disagree. Without a plot or storyline, there can be no ending, and without an ending you cannot beat the game. This game is something that resembles real life, and whilst you feel that everything must be chock full with a complete storyline from beginning to end, I feel that the quest plot lines that Jagex throws in are quite enough, and I feel you're just trying to fix something that isn't broken. If it's so monotonously boring just go play another rpg.
-
I think it has some potential, but I'm going to just say that almost as strictly as lpinkus, I am an anti-pking Runescape Player. Many people always ask me to pk with them because I am 94 combat, but I turn them down everytime. Why? Because I have better things to do than to waste my time making some poor person's day a bad one. You'd have to get the actual pker's opinions on this though, as I am not one. But meh...I wouldn't care either way.
-
Holy mother of all things unbelievable and random...first I actually found one of Blaziken's posts legitimate...and now, I actually agree free players should get something members have. I mean...why the hell not? We sure don't use it at all, and other than for fun, it's useless. Add stakes, give it to f2p's also, and all will be great and dandy. Good idea, great thinking, and I sure would love the falador mansion to be used for something too. :)

Bestiaty: Sand-term City Guard (Lv.47)
Outsanity replied to Blaze The Movie Fan's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Can...can it be? *Angels sing and vibrant light of heavenly glow shines down upon me* You actually made a post that makes sense. You didn't include nooby drops, and the way you make them normal to attack after the quest is done is a good idea. Overall, not bad. I'm still not "impressed" by this, just when placed next to all your other posts, it reminds me of comparing the novel The Phantom of the Opera to the horrible doodles of a 3-year-old. The only thing I can truly pick at is the fact that you still have the most strange fixation with pizzas and scimitars. As a request from someone who actually might see a glimmer of success from you, please...please stop including scimitars and pizzas in EVERYTHING you post. It's illogical and useless...not to mention it makes you come off as an obsessive compulsive noob. (Sorry, the truth can hurt) Now excuse me...I have to go take like 8 advil, because actually agreeing to something you've written is giving me a headache. -
New Mage Armour: Rune Essence Plating
Outsanity replied to randomguy324's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
*twitch* Can you...erm...maybe space out your paragraph there, and include maybe some proper punctuations? I don't mean to sound inconsiderate, but your passage is very difficult to read (I CAN read it, but it's straining) and I feel your message would come accross clearer if you presented it in a more professional manner. :) -
Limited trial for f2p...could it happen!?
Outsanity replied to lpinkus's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
What would be the point to keep having to make new accounts over and over and over and over? I don't think people would make another account...they would just quit, or pay for membership. Now while I feel many people take advantage of f2p servers, I also have a brain, and know that if a time limit was set forth, not just the "noobs" would be affected, but the innocent people with a reasonable cause would catch the flames too. -
Ok, now that you've clarified the angle in which you were approaching from I understand your point of view. You're correct, they can both be played as games in themselves. But my mind is still fixated on the opinion that people who play f2p with no intentions to pay to play should not get a single word of outcry. They have what they have, and they better damn well be greatful. They take what they have for granted, but I garentee that if f2p ever went away, they would be devastated, and would "suddenly" start trying to bargain that if they got it back they would "never beg again." Unfortunetly, the human race as a general consensus is thick headed, and won't see the truth until a catastrophe hits them. This is sad. They need to really take a step back and think "Do I really deserve to get this without paying?" If they were sensible and dignified, they would say no.

if people have enough money to go around giving millions for free to their friends, then by all means they can if they want to. you come off as really angsty and jealous because you don't have people giving you things. sorry to rain on your moral crusade, but it had to be said. Nothing had to be said, as there was nothing to say. TROLL, I have seen your posts, and normally you have very intelligent responses, but this seemed to be just a feeble attempt at lowering my pride. Well guess what...there ARE people who realistically have my high moral, me being one of them, obviously. There is a fine line between jealousy and anger for politics. Unfortunetly, for your misjudgement, I couldn't care a lick that he GOT the whip, but I was disappointed at the way it was recieved. No matter what, you should work hard for the things you earn. Looks like when life comes and hits you square in the face, you'll be the one hindered and crippled because you never had a sensation of earning an honest living. I however, will take my morals into the real world, and succeed far beyond most others because of it. (Note: By saying "you," I am referring to the people in general who accept things without thought. For god's sake, I'm not even letting my parents throw me a 16th birthday party because I feel that money could actually go to something useful like food, water, electricity, etc etc. If I am so jealous, then why, may I ask, would I not accept a 16th birthday party? Oh...that's right, because I'm not the type of guy that mooches off his parents for years, goes into the real world, and then has no clue how to live.)

Runescape content going more and more downhill
Outsanity replied to Lode's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Trollheim has a magic teleport, and gnome tree has the glider you can take from a lumbridge telly->>walk to al kharid glider->>I can be in gnome city in under 30 seconds if I need to get there. The new elf city is best city update in a long time and has a teleport. Not to mention that Relekka DOES have a teleport available after doing the Fremminik Trials. This to me just seems like a futile attempt at pointing out that "bad sides" of Runescape without looking at all the positive updates Jagex has been introducing. Yes, I'll agree the frog bazooka is entirely unnecessary, but everything else you complained about is fine. Oh, and by the way: Varrock isn't the best designed city, it's just the most popular due to trade. Personally, I find Ardougne, the entire Shantay Pass Desert, and the entire enormity of Mortanyia to be QUITE well designed...much more in depth than Varrock. -
Limited trial for f2p...could it happen!?
Outsanity replied to lpinkus's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I disagree entirely with the people who posted that the trial would be a year...because if you've been playing for a year, hell...just admit it, you're not planning on paying to play anytime soon. Personally, it disgusts me when people take advantage of the free worlds, never intend to leave, and then proceed to BEG that free players get member benefits. These are no more than leeches in my eyes, and I feel that they shouldn't even get the chance to play such a wonderful game. Now, if it wasn't also a problem of people not getting to pay to play due to payment methods (the ones who TRULY cannot pay due to where they live, no credit method, etc etc) then I'd be all for maybe a 6 month trial...but it IS a problem, and so a trial shouldn't be inplemented. I'm not sticking up for all f2p's in general in the slightest...I'm sticking up for the member-worthy free players that just simply cannot pay due to circumstances out of their control. -
Ive said it before adn ill say it again. f2p is NOT a DEMO. f2p is full, complete, living breathing game. P2P is an EXPANSION with members BENIFETS. In no way is f2p a trial, a demo, or anything short of a fully emersive, complex game. p2p is better, more emerisive, mroe stuff to do, etc. Everything else i agreee with, f2pers should stop asking for p2p stuff. Has there ever, in the history of runescape been something that was p2p, then became f2p aswell?? Stop asking, as much as i would enjoy getting p2p stuff without paying, it will never happen, be content with what we have, and, let me reinterate, f2p is not a demo. Well, you're wrong according to Jagex, but in technicalities, yes, you can think of it that way if that's what helps you sleep at night. However, Jagex themselves call p2p Runescape "The full running version," not "the expansion." It is not an expansion, because if it was not for advertising purposes, Jagex wouldn't even have f2p worlds. The ONLY reason those free worlds are there is because Jagex uses them to coax players into buying the full, unedited version...the true game. Jagex doesn't spend their money just to give leeching people a good time...they spend that money to get money in return. It's all marketing tactics. Give them a taste of what the FULL version has to offer, and they'll want more...so they'll buy. I'd expect no less of an opinion or perspective from a free player anyways. Don't try to get involved with a conversation unless you have truly seen both sides of the mountain...just a lesson that I find will help you out a little bit more in life than just stating a blind remark.
-
I am not going to turn this into a whole flame war, nor would I have any desire to, but as I've said to many people before you, including my own f2p friends: Stop. Just stop. You guys are the reason free players get no respect nowadays. If you took half the time you do complaining about how you're "less fortunate" (coughyou'rejusttoocheaptopayalousyfivebucksamonthcough) and can't get members, and spent it actually playing the game, you may have actually made a name of yourself. Quit wasting your time. Quit wasting ours. We pay. You don't. We get the updates we pay for. You do not get the updates we pay for. Is it all so hard to comprehend?
