No...they shouldn't. Do you realize the amount of even MORE idiotic idiots that would pile into Lumbridge everyday? ABSOLUTELY NOT. But what I think they need is a way to train your mage to 3 on Tutorial Island. I mean, come on...they give you a sword and a shield and say "go melee those rats!!!" Then they give you a bow and some arrows and say "Go range those rats!!!" Then they give you like 5 air runes and 5 minds and say "Oh...yeah...see those chickens over there? You can attack them if you want...you probably won't kill even one...and you most surely won't get a mage level here...but go wild..." You should be able to go get more runes from the wizard in order to get mage up to 3...I mean...how is that fair? Range and melee get up to 3 but mage doesn't even get up to 2? Also...they NEED to teach people how to craft. It's not the most unused free player skill because it's useless...it's the most unused free player skill because barely any free players know how or where to start training it.

Offshoot of the "Invisibility Potion" post
Outsanity replied to lpinkus's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Yet another astoundingly great idea given by Lpinkus! *clapclap* I especially like it because of the "can't become 'un-neutral' until you leave" thing. This way, people can't just say..."la la la...I'm nuetral...I won't attack you..." AND WHAM. Two seconds later that "neutral" wilderness stroller just 3 hit you. XD Anyways, for all of you who oppose his idea...think about it. If 10% of all people who go into the wilderness DON'T want to be killed, then you still have that other 90% to pick from. I think the reason most of you pkers who oppose this because you feel you "own" the wilderness or something. Well get this, one of these days you'll get pked too, and you might find yourself on the OTHER side of the hill; figuratively speaking. -
I always thought this was pretty darn obvious. I mean, think about it...do you ever get a random event where your axe head falls off DURING chopping? No...you get it right when you click. Since the random events ARE calculated by percentage of probability per click, if you click a hundred times, you have that much more of a chance of getting that event. Axe Head falls off, Spirits, and Ents are all based on clicking trees. Pick axe Head falls off, steaming rocks, and golems are all based on clicking ores. Mimes, Myserious Old Men, and genies are all fighting and/or random clicking based. So if you click more, the game's calculator re-rolls that special die that determines them. So, if you have a 1% chance of getting a tree spirit, and you click 100 times, there's a chance ONE of those 100 clicks will get you a tree spirit. See? Again, I always thought this was just common sense.

I read the title and immediately said no...now that I've read the post fully I say... ...no. (Sheesh, just go train prayer, you lazy bum)

Not even drugs can churn this garbage out, he was at gunpoint, what sick individual forced him to do it I dont know. *throw an amplified speakerphone* TheBlazikenMaster! Step AWAY from the stubby umbrella-shaped plants and lets talk about this like civil, respectful people. *He comes down* Ok...now we talk: Why on earth are you so stupid??? *beats you over the head* Sheesh! Go kill some goblins or something...you're wasting our time here.

Ok...for the final and umpteenth time: SHUT UP ABOUT NINJA CRAP! Honestly...this is Runescape...not ninjascape. Besides...can't we all just drop the freakin' "children's phases" and leave it be? I mean, come on...first there was a wave of pirate-obsessive children...now comes the ninja wave. What next; Star Wars? (Oh wait...we've got that too, sorry  )

Here's the truth in my eyes: When Jagex created Runescape, they set the bar to 99, thinking "No one will get to full 99 in a million years!" But now, Zezima has almost accomplished this. What happens when he reaches max levels? There will be virtually nothing left to look forward to, but doing some new quests, and MAYBE getting a new skill (which he'd quickly level to 99 anyways) My point is, now that the "nearly impossible to reach" bar has been reached...it is time that it be raised. After all, it's not everyday you can hear someone say "I have 57,000,000 experience in smithing." Such accomplishments deserve such rewards.

Outsanity replied to Dbzruler72's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Do me a favour, okay? First of all, DO YOUR RESEARCH properly before you come on here and make yourself look like an idiot. Secondly, LEARN TO SPELL. Honestly, how am I supposed to take you seriously if you sound like an 8 year old non-English speaker typing away at a computer screen? *walks off laughing* "An den we went 2 da da da stor 2 git sum1 sum" blah blah blah... -
Actually you can kill any player. Even these that don't have the amulet. And once again folks, we have yet another extremely stupid idea by a child who obviously still plays by the "pokemon" style of videogaming. (Hence his name) This is RUNESCAPE where there is a WILDERNESS. The point of the wilderness is to be able to attack people IN IT...not outside of it. Amulet or not, this idea sucks horribly.

Runescape Community - Lacking something?
Outsanity replied to demonmike05's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
The community isn't lacking friendship...it's lacking maturity. Simple. As. That. And that's all I'm leaving it at. (Besides, I don't come onto Runescape to drink tea with "mah buds" and "chill" with some random person I just met walking the opposite direction as me. I come onto Runescape to PLAY Runescape. That's why I train so quickly...because I don't spend have of my time worrying about how my pixelated character looks in a certain outfit because I'm having an online virtual date with my online virtual girlfriend.) -
ya that would rock to have a dragon pickaxe, but the promblem is that your minning lv has to be like lv 100 or somethin no only 60 why would it only be lv 60??Why wouldnt it be? Every other dragon item is lvl 60 to wield/wear Because if you'd take the time to notice, ALL pickaxes DO NOT go by the weapon levels. Rune pickaxe requires 41 mining to use...therefor, Dragon Pickaxe would require 61. I still think it's a horrible idea though. I honestly believe people need to GIVE UP on the "There's going to be as many dragon items as there are rune items soon!" idea...I mean come on people...what's next? Dragon nails?

I've seen faces round like that. Apparently you haven't seen some of the people walking around crowded city streets. ;)
-
Yeah...jagex sure has a nack for stating the obvious. Like with all potions: Strength Potion (4) - 4 doses of Strength Potion (Naw, REALLY??!?? )
-
Actually, it's Monkey Minder - Looks just like the kind of guy who would mind monkeys.

Yeah...the best proven way to get to a long term goal is to, as someone before me said, set MILESTONES. NEVER say "I'm going to go out and get 99 mining." because then you'll get half way through and say "Damn, this takes too long, I give up." Instead, say "I'm going to get to 15 mining" Then when you do, say "I'm going to get to 30 mining" Then when you do say "I'm going to get to 50 mining" etc etc. Do this until you get to 99 mining. If you set too many goals too far away, and not enough in between, you'll have no rewards in between, and without rewards in between, there's hardly enough motivation to move on. My next goal: Get to 80 combat and 50 slayer. ;) My overall goal: Get to 126 combat and 85 slayer :)

Well if that wasn't the most ignorant, crude, and discriminating comment I have ever read... ...Get over yourself. Please.

Wow...I'd be banned if I actually posted what I think of you right now... ~LAME~

They should have a "free members day"
Outsanity replied to hobobob7's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Apparently you haven't heard of a little thing called paying customers. If they let f2p's overrun or even get a "taste" of members, I can garentee half of those f2p's won't buy, and a lot of the current members will, just simply, be pissed. As I said before...they value OUR opinions more because WE pay. YOU don't, so quite honestly, they'd take our opinions over yours any day. This is the truth, now YOU live with it. -
You missed the whole point of what he said. Let me spell it out easier for you: Let's say there are 100 phats in existance, 20 of them are being sold, 60 are being kept, and 20 are alched: if 60 are being kept, and the other 20 alched, that's 80 phats that will NEVER make it into the hands of someone else. if 60 are being kept, and if instead of those other 20 being alched they are kept also, that is STILL 80 total phats that will NEVER make it into the hands of someone else. What they were trying to say was, if you're an idiot and think you're being "sneaky" and raising the price by alching it, you're not. If you just keep it an NEVER let anyone else have it, that's 1 less phat on the market. The less phats on the market, the higher they cost. See what I'm saying? If not...*patpat*...I'm sorry you lack common sense.

F2p: Would you mind if they had all basic potions?

F2p: Would you mind if they had all basic potions?
Outsanity replied to Mr_Coffee's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
They are doing nothing of the sort. You obviously haven't figured out quite how the whole combat thing works. Since there is only the strength pot for f2p, here's what you can do (these are just examples) Train def, att, and hits more than strength, and then use a pot to raise to to the others: def: 25 att: 25 hits: 25 Str: 20 + pot = 25 (remember, this is just an example, we all know it would NOT work out this way...) Or you could train them all the same and use the pot: def: 25 att: 25 hits: 25 str: 25 + pot = 30 (so now you're even stronger in strength than the others) or you could go the berserk attacking style, and train nothing but strength: def: 10 att: 10 hits: 20 str: 60 + pot = 75 (again, another example with bad statistics to back it up, but you get the picture) So there you have it...multiple ways to "show your individuality" as a runescape combat player. And if all else fails, just train whatever you want, and how you want it. No one is FORCING you to use the strength pots at all. Now, as an insurance policy from flamers, I DID already state I'm fine with f2pers having the basic pots as long as they cannot make them with herblore. I was just pointing out this to the people who obviously cannot seem to think out of the box. -
F2p: Would you mind if they had all basic potions?
Outsanity replied to Mr_Coffee's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Basic Potions: Ok, maybe I can buy that idea...but NOT the ability to make them with herblore. Herblore is a MEMBER skill, and should stay as such. Blue Dragonhide: Oh come on...you get up to ADDY arrows and MAPLE bows and then you beg for this? Now you're just being greedy. Defintely a NO on this one. -
They should have a "free members day"
Outsanity replied to hobobob7's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I like the previous post about the free member's worlds on other servers, but I'm sticking by my opinion of "JUST NO" with extreme firmity. People make members out to be some world ENTIRELY different from f2p. It KIND OF is, but not in the way they're thinking. Members just gives a few new areas, with a few new items and tons more quests. F2p shows you MOST EVERYTHING you're going to experience on members, with a few exceptions like abilities and items. If f2p doesn't entice players to become members, then nothing will. It's as simple as that; and this is comming from a person who HAS been on both sides of the mountain. -
They should have a "free members day"
Outsanity replied to hobobob7's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Well sure, that's reasonable. If you won't get your money's worth then I understand 110% why you wouldn't pay the 5 dollars. But for those who DO have the time AND the money, they should just whip out their card or phone and buy it. For those less fortunate, I'm sorry, but Jagex IS a company, one that needs money, and one that does all the work and decides things based on the popular census. Since giving the members world for nothing to free players once a month would affect US, they'd naturally value OUR opinions more than yours. So, what do you think the general member consensus would be about it? Exactly. Members in intended to be an exclusive thing that only paying people can access. This is how it was meant to be, and how it will stay. Sorry to any f2pers that disagree, but it's the truth.
