In step 5 you tell us to go east out of Shilo, but then in step 6 you were adamant about us NOT going east out of Shilo, and instead going north...? Wouldn't it be simpler to just say it's southeast of the Nature Altar?

I have added a RapidShare link to the original post. It's .xls which is the default save type for spreadsheets such as Excel. Each sheet of the file is a different type of equipment, and in each of those is the tables comparing each bonus. It's easier to use than individual images for each, but hey, you be the judge :P.

What about them?... They're already on the lists. Guthix book = Book of Balance. Zamorak book = Unholy book. Saradomin book = Holy book.

So while smithing I got extremely bored and started making tables of the mainstream equippable items and sorted them from best to worst in each stat bonus. People said they'd like to see them so I went through a hell of a lot of trouble to convert them all (over 100 total) into images for everyone to use. I apologize if they're sometimes hard to read but there's a lot of data so I had to make them somewhat small. I'd like to be able to show them directly on this post but there are so many images it would be impractical, so I suppose links to the images will have to suffice. The items are arranged from best to worst and then if those values are identical they're arranged alphabetically. Some of them are also arranged by total bonuses after they're arranged from best to worst in the specific stat bonus if the table has a total bonus column; I didn't add it for every table because there weren't that many items to compare (like capes, rings, and amulets). If you happen to find an item worth mentioning here that I missed or if something is incorrect/not working, let me know. Trust me... if i Did it at 72 dpi the image would look distorted. Making it 152 and decreasing the size by 50 percent makes it look WAY better, no matter what your screensize is. I just finished making them images (94 in all) and I'm about to upload them. Feel free to have a look for yourself in AoW when I'm done : Actually here's just one of them:

Before my stupid graphics driver crashed my pc for the 3rd time yesterday, I downloaded OpenOffice and used the Calc to convert the excel spreadsheets into PDFs. I opened them up in Photoshop and they came out all distorted so I had to play with the DPI of the PDF for awhile until I hit it just right at 152 DPI, then I had to reduce their size by 50 percent. They look fine now and I'll be able to upload them as images. I'm not too worried about the inability to use CTRL+F because each table will be 1 image, and each one will be arranged from highest to lowest and then if they are of equal values it arranges them alphabetically. Things should be easy to find.

Ok so here's my problem. I have roughly 70 pages (if I bothered to print these...) worth of tables comparing every mainstream equippable item to every other and sorted from best to worst. It's what I use to quickly look up what's better than what, consider if something is worth buying, etc. Now I intended to make the tables into images and then post them in the AoW for other people to use. But that's where the problem lies. What's the best way to convert an Excel Spreadsheet (.xls) into an image (.png, .gif, .jpeg, etc.)? What I've usually done in the past is just take a screenshot of the table and open it up in PS CS2 for editing, but there are so many tables for these items and they're so long that taking screenshots (even at resolutions like 1920x1200 with Gadwin PrintScreen) is totally impractical. I can't just choose to Save As .png or something. The only options for saving in Excel are: Microsoft Office Excel Workbook (.xls) XML Spreadsheet (.xml) Single File Web Page (.mht, .mhtml) Web Page (.htm, .html) Template (.xlt) Text (Tab delimited) (.txt) Would saving it as a web page and then uploading the page to say... a friend's host work? All I want to be able to do is to make the tables available for public use, image or html, it doesn't really matter.

I haven't fought Spiritual Rangers before, but I've fought about 50 or so Spiritual Warriors. The first time in the dungeon I accidentally killed one because I had auto-retaliate on. It dropped a rune halberd. Then I tried killing them for awhile but nothing really good aside from the initial halberd. Later I went to solo the zamorak general and on the way I accidentally took off my zammy book, a spiritual warrior attacked me, and it dropped a rune longsword. So yeah... I guess their drops aren't that bad.

You can download a program known as SnoopFree from http://www.snoopfree.com to find the keylogger. The program detects anything trying to record keyboard data or access your screen for a screenshot. It detects everything, even ones that claim to be undetectable, this one has caught them. I highly recommend it. But if you manage to get ahold of Peter, even better.

I dunno if this is true for all head Boss's but in the Bandos Boss room you can only use the altar every 10 minutes too Yeah, that's true for all bosses.

I just tried soloing the zamorak general (K'ril). I did well except I was lagging so i ate way more food than i should have. i ended up teleporting with 0 food and 0 prayer when he got redbarred -.-. By the time i got back he was full hp. I ended up killing him that time though, along with his 3 commanders (barely). The 3rd commander died as the boss respawned (hit me for 41) and i teled out just before the last commander's loot appeared. The most difficult part about fighting him is when he hits through prayer after getting mad at you, your prayer points are reduced by the amount of damage he hits , so several times during the fight i had 0 prayer. I ended up teleing out with nothing but 2 sharks left for supplies. He only dropped 3 flipping lantadyme seeds for that whole ordeal. SO disappointing. stupid jagex blah! *walks off grumbling* btw, something everyone forgot to leave out... YOU CANT USE THE ALTARS DURING COMBAT!!!!!!! :wall: :wall: :wall:

Nice job, right, so that's pendant of armadyl, ancient mace, saradomin cape, and unholy book, and then I can freely walk the god dungeon. Right, well I'm 3/4 of the way there, need to get me the unholy book Any zamorak item will work in place of the unholy book. That was just an example of some of the items you *could* use to protect from every faction.

God what's with people?... I KNOW most people hate mining so why does everyone wish for a dragon pickaxe? . Has NO ONE noticed that we don't have a dragon warhammer yet? I'd trade a pickaxe for a warhammer any day of the week. As far as guesses about the God sword go.... my guess is better stats than anchor (anchor is a quest item... how good could it really be in the long-run), two-handed, maybe a powerful spec, and it could possibly resemble 3rd age melee equipment (white/black).

I never expected someone to have the mid-point ones. I figured most people (if any) would go for the first or last. Spose I have hate to thank for that :P

Thanks very much hate :). After seeing them all I think I'll just stick with the Cutthroat flag :-k. Maybe lucky shot if any though, would go nice with a range cape lol.

Ok if anyone out there is like me, there's some items you just NEVER get to see because they're stupidly rare. The Pirate Flags you obtain from Trouble Brewingare one of these in my opinion. I have a Cutthroat flag and probably 3-6 people a day ask me where to get it. So... here's your chance to show your flag to the world (and me ) and hopefully enlighten other players to their even existance as well. This should also be a good way to see what flag you may want to work for if you plan on doing the Trouble Brewing minigame, if people even post with pics that is. These images aren't for official use and won't be put up on the main site, this is just a personal request from the community :pray:.
