  1. Thanks for posting. Actually, they both sound plausible enough that I'm not certain which is correct, lol. Can anyone get a screenie?
  2. actually there's just not enough text after the jade minivine thing for it to be at the top of the page ... so that's as close as I could get ya. Sorry. >.<
  3. added jug of water to guide. the winemaking tip is a good idea except I'm lucky if I can get 2 jugs of water and 2 grapes in a load ... usually I end up with one or the other but not both, lol. Malhavok, I hear ya about the snowball but am not adding it at this time cos ... well it's always hard to tell with holiday items how they will "fall out" as time goes by. Give us a kick in two months and we'll look at adding it? Thanks to both. Locking.
  4. Thanks for posting, this info has been added in to the guide.
  5. The "retreats" field actually just means will it pull away from you as it starts to lose the fight and die, like a unicorn does ... not sure if this is what you meant. A Revenant Ork did poison me last nite tho, the beggar.
  6. 1. You may be right, I don't know. I take this to mean that Bandit's Brew and Squ'irk juices did not work? 2. When I dragged a friend doing the quest to this store she was unable to exchange her notes for items - although it is marked as a general store it did not behave as one at the time, and would not buy items it didn't stock. That was 6 months ago, and I haven't tried it recently to find out if that has changed. A screenie of player stock showing your lockpick in it would be great proof?
  7. Thanks soothsayer for providing all of the text - it's all been entered. A crewbie had actually done all the pictures but the records were still hidden - sorry about that. I've credited you both.
  8. Sorry for not letting you know that we did indeed read your post. Lundail's shop information was already updated in the shops database, just not in this guide. We need to decided if we will continue to maintain shops info in guides or just add pointers to the shops database. But we will address this issue and take care of it. Thanks for letting us know.
  9. The other db entry is damaged armour http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=2318 using the same pic, lol. The item you have pictured (showing the various short straight pieces) is repairable into legs (bronze through mith I believe) when used on armour stand with hammer. Both entries should be linked to http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?p ... tiprepairs and the descriptions should be adjusted to reflect the info there: Hopefully the items db team will get to this shortly. Thanks for pointing out the data mismatch. If you could provide a screenie of the examine, that would also be helpful.
  10. Blackjack stats are listed in the linked Rogue Trader guide: http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page= ... blackjacks These values have been authenticated numerous times. ;-)
  11. Thanks for all the posts, but the guide used to say 14 until several people wrote in complaining they took 17. We are trying to keep people from dying - it really doesn't matter if you take *less* damage. Regarding Blurberry signing your card, I'd love to get confirmation from an additional person and then we can change this wording. Thanks for posting this - nice to hear that Jagex may have finally fixed it. :)
  12. I understand what you are asking, but it's been proven in the past that posting a recommended combat level causes a continuing deluge of messages from egotistical pures stating that they 'pwned' such a quest at -34 combat with both hands tied behind their backs. Combat ability is subjective and can't be simply tied to level. Required combat levels stipulated by Jagex are always included in our guides. Thanks for wanting to help.
  13. This code has always been on the list - search on "grail". However, I added the words "Fisher King" in case that might help you.
  14. Thanks for pointing this out - done!
  15. Based on Jagex Announcements, the Crew makes a list of tasks to be done for each game update. However, we have RL commitments (school/work/family) so the info gets updated when we can get to it, as we are all just volunteers. As Kaphias said, feel free to submit suggested guide wording and additional info (levels, xp values, links, etc) to help us get guides updated faster. We will try to get the guide updated for you as quickly as we can! :)
  16. Please post any corrections for the quest guide http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=180. Thanks.
  17. fixed. thanks for the heads up, broken links are evil! :D
  18. I'm told that the shops still needing updates are the following (but check database to be sure before making any effort): Varrock shops might still be outstanding, but I think a crewbie is working them and plus there are the pics above still to be entered. Thanks VERY much to those who posted pics thus far, especially ham - it's been a HUGE help and has really made a difference in getting the database updated quickly. :D
  19. Dear ham, thanks SOOOO much for posting all of these pics. The ones that included all of the prices were tremendously helpful and have been credited. It's greatly appreciated. I'm going to post a list of the shops left to do in case anyone wants to get in on it.
  20. As this is a guide about raising a specific Skill (Ranging) to 70, it belongs in the Player-Made Guides: Skills, Mini Games & Quests forum, where it is now. However, it doesn't have much in the way of organisation or new content. As a new forum member, please take the time to look around the forum and get to know what we expect from guides before writing one. If a guide did not take you hours and hours of research (not simply skill grinding) in the game, lots of obtaining and recording raw data, then it's generally not a good guide topic. Also, there are probably some 99 range guides here already. It's better to contribute to an existing guide than start a new one. Thanks, though, for wanting to help other players.
  21. they are in the northwest corner of the temple, which is in the northeast corner of Marim. I've clarified the language.
  22. As this is a pretty frequent occurrence in the game and not really a big part of general internet shorthand, it's been added to the guide. It's a minor thing (and thus not a huge contribution which would be credited ;)), but thanks very much for nudging us to add this useful phrase.
  23. The guide already addresses this mystery ring, it's just not shown on the map (which is somewhat outdated). Directly under the "Useful Teleports not shown on the Map" table is this paragraph: If anyone comes up with a code or series of codes to use it as a destination, please post and we will be happy to credit you. Until then, we'll consider this closed.
