Link to Jagex page: http://www.runescape.com/varrock/letters/letters24.ws And incidentally, within the week of that Letter, Jagex posted something on the website/news muddying the water by basically recanting this tale due to the flood of questions about it in the forums. They re-stated that it was an "analogy" and not necessarily entirely accurate. Since it *is* programmable (though generating "random" numbers is always a challenge), they seem to say that it's not how the ROW really works. And you may notice that only 2.5 months later the God Letters were ended forever. The letters contained a lot of "artistic licence" just to make things interesting, but players would jump on each and every word and speculate on what it might mean for future game developments. So Jagex spent a lot of time in the forums having to deny each manufactured rumour. I suspect that (the artistic licence creating headaches) was part of the reason the God Letters ended (in addition to the presumed departure of their best and funniest writer(s), since the comedy and playfulness of the earliest letters had disappeared by the end.)

I've modified the Construction Table as follows: "Decoration (players report this requiring 2 marble blocks, not 5 gold leaf!)" to hopefully warn people about this. Sorry I can't do more - if at some point there's a way to document this, I'll be glad to change it. If you like, you can report it to Jagex as well. Thanks so much m1cha34l for doing the research on that. I happened to be in Seers yesterday and confirmed Overture still plays there. The Music Guide draft has been updated to reflect that change and should be released shortly.

I may be missing the point here, but it seems to me that you are using backwards logic on this problem. These coordinates were originally provided by Jagex and used in the game. Saying that our guide is incorrect isn't helpful - giving us correct information is. I'd need to see a picture of the actual coordinates clue to do anything else with this, sorry.

Coax someone to write us a guide. ;) I've never even seen a player made guide for this. In the meantime, it would seem best for us to add the Rat Pits world to the Pet Care Guide, rather than splitting out those few paragraphs.

I agree with phil and others. Each time someone posts the topic/forum is marked as new for me to read, and ... I don't really need to read it everytime someone adds a congratulations (though I am still thrilled for tripsis :D).
